Hi I’m a big fan and I realised your last name is mavrakis are you by any chance Greek. Because I am and it’s a pleasure watching your videos they are really inspiring and I am thinking to get more baby turtles🎉
Germany has its act together with this stunning aquatic house of corals, absolutely mind blowing in every way. Great vlog George, Thanks also to White Coral for taking us along, really was impressive.
These are one of those rare TH-cam videos that just leaves me mesmerized from start to finish. German engineering and perfectionism at its finest and I'm not even into aquariums.
Why think? Do it :) watch many videos, make a plan, budget your plan and execute your plan. Thats all the easy parts. Once your coral start growing main problem is to keep to your budget while looking at them new corals, fish or gadgets 😂
@@mgrootjans7051 disagree there.... freshwater you can generally neglect for some time, doesnt work with a lowbudget reeftank though... maby a fish only or some xenia/leathers at max And even a nicely expensive automated reeftank, still require more time then any freshwatertank. I snowboard, scuba dive and love to travel. But nothing is as expensive as the reefing hobby and its addicting nature, there are just too many awsome corals and usefull/nifty gadgets.... pokemon with its "gotta catch them all" definatly applies in this hobby. And for many we do want those awsome sps colonies eventually ;)

Maybe work ethics, but no ethics and morals for the animals. When you hear that the corals, invertebrates and fish are imported and know that many do not survive the catch and transportation (about 80% die, UNEP estimate), there is not much left of true ethics and morals. It is not about the animals but only about the personal pleasure of these people, the desire to own these animals.
@@jic1 I know, that there are corals species, that are bred, other were not. But coming to the invertebrates and fish... why do you don't talk about these species? Why do you have skipped these from your argumentation? Because you know that there is hardly any breeding here and you lack positive arguments, you pathetic little boy. Don't bother with your childish drivel when you have nothing substantial to say.

I just learned adout the emperor angelfish today. I have seen them it my LFS and for some reason they have a juvenile next to their discus tank and it being the only saltwater tank in the freshwater showroom I always thiught it was a type if discus. I guess I will not be getting one for my freshwater tank anytime soon. I love the way they look as juveniles.
Great video, thanks, that is one hell of a coral/marine aquarium fish farm! Just one perhaps pedantic point i want to make though, the video title, like many people's TH-cam video titles, don't have that much to do with the actual content of the video. Sorry I may be just a grumpy boomer who comes from a time when language was still valued, yes today a picture paints a thousand words so why bother, but why not of you are stiill using langauge? Anyway, back to my point: the video does not show us the insane creatures of a mega aquarium, it shows us the insane creatures of a coral and fish farm. An aquarium is what we put fish in or it is also a public venue with many tanks that display marine life, a zoo for underwater life. The place you did your video on is a farm and a business, not merely a public aquarium. Hope that is helpful. Thanks for your great work, I will check White Corals out, they seem totally amazing from your video, wow!
crazy expensive hobby ! wish it was cheaper.. also it get's super hot in my studio that even a chiller won't work , any pro's out here with a good tip that would make it possible for me ? (it nearly get's 40°c here)

I’ve bought amazing corals from White Corals! They’re great!
George videos always wanna make me think to build a saltwater tank.

If you got money and time to spent on it go for it.

Little shop of horrors is an AMAZING name for a Coral... Brilliant actually!
1:39 Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, ... are in the european union as well :) and btw the uk hasnt been in the EU since 2020
Genius way of taking the photo. I’ve seen struggling photographers in stores that can never get the right shot
I'm drooling over that top down shooting rig. These fellas are cool af, place is amazing
The cleanlinest of this Fish shop floor's is better than most hospital floor.. crazy prestine in all aspect..mind blown.. 🤯🤯

The little shop of horrors is actually a perfect name and they looked amazing!!!
1:38 wrong map, there are more countries in the European union
3:15 that fish trap is genius
Thank you for these in-depth behind the scenes videos! 😊

Wirklich ein Mega-Aquarium! 😮
The fish trap is really cool :D
That's a dream shop right there! great job on this one George!
You’ve not posted for a while George (shorts only) but what a return, this place takes it to another level, pun not intended( 3 story building) 😂😂 👍
Beautiful 👍👍
BMW of the hobby right there.
This facility makes every facility in US look like a joke. Great Video George!
That's some German efficiency. 😂
The Emperor Angelfish looks like a living work of art! Reminds me of Junji Ito's Uzumaki
For a second I wondered how old the video is, because the EU map they showed is over 20 years old!
Exactly
They say they sell in all European Union. They show a map without the countries in Eastern Europe. :D
You can see the work ethic of Germans. So neat, so organized. Salute to these guys! Amazing store

@@bovverFS no proof
@@bovverFS So you skipped the part of the video where they showed how they were farming their own captive-bred corals to reduce imports?

awsome shop!
I guess most of the people don't understand how hard and crazy is to run this business and have that much knowledge.
Orge your a legend .
Living the dream of many reefers .
Followed your vids from the start .
12g rules
Wow I wished I lived near there haha. So many corals to choose from.
😮 this is insine!! Master piece
Wow!! I can't believe how expensive these corals are 😳
Please upload more often🙏
Beauty full fish
It's only a 6hour drive for me... might stack up some cash and visit them!
Little shop of horrors is a great movie and those corals fit perfectly if you've ever seen it
Prices are insane up there..!
We need this in Colorado
Short : awesome :)
Very interesting
just wish we had enough population to support stores like this in my country.... All we get is the crappy mouldy no effort fish stores here in Oz.
This is german engineering 😍
Nice babe 😘
I forget how lucky we are living only a few hours from the Great Barrier Reef. Mad reef tank’s lad, they rival parts of the reef itself

Your European Union map is off Poland and many other easterner European countries are in the European Union
I invite you to see one of the biggest aquariums in Europe here in Hamburg! It is crazy big and has many fish species.
3:00 天才じゃん!
I was here!
It's a Concentration Camp for Coral
Giving tidal gardens a run for their money!
George, why are you acting like you've never seen a emperor angel before 😂
The elevator was out of function last time I visited 😂
White Coral owners are true hobbyists. Just look at the tank they built in their moms basement. Built a good business too
Do you have a video about the tank in the thumbnail?
I also fell for the clickbait thumbnail. I got disappointed 😞
I actually liked the video, and would have watched it with an honest title/thumbnail.@@wufler28

Have you heard about the fires in Maui Hawaii curious because your out of the country
They george you should go to absolutely fish route 46 west clifton NJ
You need a cameraman with steadier hands, hurts my eyes how much it shakes 🤣
All I want to know is how they keep all of that glass clean. Working at an LFS keeping 30 smaller tanks was a hard enough.
gila cakep bener
George did you ask what what do they dose meaning what brand it would be very interesting
Nyos Pure Salt and Nyos products

1:10 1000$ for that little fish... 🐟🐟🐟
I be curious as to how he cycled . You have to progress slowly as spikes are bad news. 🤔
Wow they are expensive 😮
Mr George 1:39 - you missed quite a lot of countries from Europen Union :P
Fresh water scrubs:what's the meaning of this
