It would be good to see that as an option but I'm not holding my breath for it if I'm honest. it appears they've put their attention straight on to their next releases, being updated lightweight versions for a few different models - some of them below 20g in weight which is wild
i know that i might be in the minority here but honestly this is the perfect agro claw mouse for me with 21x11 hands due to the forward sensor position. some mice i also enjoyed clawing included the hitscan hyperlight and the op18k also the vancer akitsu but the akitsu's sensor position always made aiming feel a bit off so having something so small and light with a forward sensor position feels so good to use
I'm personally not a big fan of the aesthetics of the mouse, but the sensor placement is honestly enough to make me quite curious about it. A sensor closer to the center works just fine, but I've typically preferred being able to either have the sensor be far forward (and then play on a lower sens) or have it be as far back as possible (and use a higher sens). It's nice to see at least a few options starting to pop up now which doesn't just have the sensor dead in the center.
@@Log_Pile Long term Overwatch player, but even in other games such as Apex I've gravitated more towards higher sensitivites for tracking and fast paced target acquisition, movement, etc. But that always makes the micro-adjustments incredibly difficult, and I'm a huge adrenaline junkie so find it difficult to adjust to. Sensor placement can definitely help!
When i used the HTX Ace (in order to test if i was crutching myself with the hsk pro shape i started with) i disliked how low the hump was. I felt as if the bottom half of a mouse was a disadvantage for fingertip grip, no use for hump. But the lamzu Atlantis mini, allows a slight usage of the hump for slightly more loss of fingertip freedom it feels like. But the HTR Pro also seems worse than the hsk for me, makes me interested in trying this just for fun but maybe itd be bad for me i dunno
Hey man awesome review, especially appreciated since there's barely any info on this mouse so far :) I was wondering how's the grip tape holding up? To me it just seems like it would start peeling off/shifting in a week or two due to the smaller surface area caused by the stupid hexagonal design... That's the biggest reason that puts me off buying the mouse :/ Thanks a lot :)
Hey dude, I havent seen any degradation of the grip tape so far and I dont feel worried about it if I'm honest. it's so sticky I think it's pretty well stuck on!
I bought an HTX in the past thay I barely used for QC issues and click lag, if that makes any sense. Is this mouse as good as the razer and Logitech in terms of QC and sensor? Thanks in advance.
@@boodz0 Hey bro, I can honestly say that the newer models are sooo much better than the old ones, and the only reason I hesitate to say G Wolves are as good as Logi and Razer, is because of their customer service/support. I havent had an issue with the HTX Mini, its in my main rotation right now, alongside the viper v3 pro, and I can't choose between them as to which I prefer for buttons. Not sure if that helped. But the HTX Mini will be on my desk for a long time, I just hope you/I don't ever have to return it, cos their process is long winded and difficult to navigate

How would you compare this to the HTR? they seem to fit quite a similar niche
The HTR is very flat and straight on the sides and the HTX Mini is very shapely. Also the HTX has a lower click height
