love the addition of the clock on the top right. helps to see how often/rarely hands come. ( still seems abnormally often to me but i dont have much experience so idk)

On the J84r flop…UTGS checks, you bet, BTN (UK Pro) raises…what value raises there that doesn’t 3 bet PF? I don’t see much plus strong value would prefer to keep UTGS around for turn. Once he does raise, flatting makes more sense to open the door for UTGS squeeze or worse case, turn brings A, K Q,T, 9 and BTN fires again, depending on suit, then launch check raise. Simply because BTN is a pro, hard to see any value raising flop given action, seems like flatting raise is optimal vs balancing bluffs. Any thoughts? EDIT: if taking the same line, i see value in showing the set as value in balancing short term is super low as I now see in the 84ss hand ;-)

Is there something wrong with a game in the afternoon or early evening? Starting to play at 3am just seems strange to me.

Trip 7s was a good fold honestly pocket kings queens or jacks all had a full house only value hand he beat was aces or king queen which I don’t even think bets that size anyway

So if I'm playing a cash game and two players at the table know each other and after every situation they are involved in they are texting each other their cards. Obviously in your vlog it was much later but it reminded me of this point. How do you feel etiquette wise about this at the table. It seems there's nothing that can be done but it didn't feel right at the time I was playing. Thanks Brad

A guy here went to the last Cherokee wsop circuit back in November and was bragging about winning $300k playing 25-50 PLO. He said "when you're playing those big games you can't be scared, it's the same game just bigger". So to that I say don't worry about it Brad, just play your game when you get there. You might win 300k too.

This might sound like a terrible idea but id love to see a pro like yourself go and play a tournament at a really low level like pub or bar poker the players you play against are going to do some strange things and I recon it could make for a very funny vlog !!

In that 44 hand I think reraising that flop raise was too strong on such a dry board you're playing pretty face up. Keep his bluffs in by just calling.

What I don't get with your set. You can induce further bluffs just by flatting his raise. If he's strong it is getting in anway. You say you want to balance it that you can also play strong hands this way. I am not sure the history is that extensive (and on this day it is probably earlier in the session too) that this is completely necessary. Note though, even when I played I wasn't even close to these stakes and you are obv a way better player than me. Edit: OK, the history seems to be extensive. Still not sure if it's the right play.
i thought this as well. balancing in these games is important, but his opponent needs more equity to continue with his bluffs. theres only 3 combos of 910 suited hands that have decent equity to continue being open ended w a backdoor on a rainbow flop. hes going to fold out anything else except nuts. i dont think he gets value out of raising.

Question for ya... how can I mentally be OK with playing smaller stakes? I used to play 1/3 and 2/5 and then after playing 5/10 and even some 10/20 I find it near impossible to get any excitement from playing lower stake games again
