Yeah. I was kinda disappointed with the game and never revisited it after they added more DLC. I did not think they would add so much and what they did add was really cool!
Morpho Knight was originally going to appear as a boss in the scrapped Kirby Gamecube game, meaning he predates not only Galacta Knight but even Dark Meta Kight in conception as a second knight fight to match Meta Knight, silently waiting in the series background to get his time to shine (just like the butterfly).

@@Magic_Ice After you beat Aeon Hero (Dark), he gets sucked into the same kind of portal that Hyness was using that summons him in Star Allies, and it disappears using similar red particles that Morpho uses. Of course, he also exists in a place beyond space and time, so he could theoretically be summoned from the past at any point without having to follow any chronological order. His fights might be connected, but the order basically means nothing.
The Three Mage-Sisters are my favorite Dream Friends for multiple reasons. Since they weren't included beforehand, the elements/affinities they have are Ice, Water, Fire, Zap, and Slash. Francisca and Zan Partizanne both have infinite flight, whereas Flamberge has to jump repeatedly. They also have a lot of invincibility frames (especially on their big attacks). Want an easy win? Spam Francisca's up down attack and you're basically unkillable if you're good at it. Also, fun fact about the secret boss, Sword, Meta Knight, and Dark Meta Knight can clash with him and cancel some attacks. It's pretty cool, actually. I love his design so much, easily one of my favorite Kirby bosses ever.
It's still crazy to me that out of all the non-canon secret bosses, this dude was the first one to make his way into the canon Kirby timeline, and so soon after his first appearance no less.
Re: "Electro Eclair", Eclair means lightning in French and it's commonly used for electricity-based characters or attacks in Japanese media, and nearly always gets changed in localizations to avoid association with pastry. This is one of the first times I've seen it not changed. e.g Lightning in Final Fantasy XIII's real name in Japanese was Eclair (changed to Claire) and Sara Valestine's super move in Trails of Cold Steel was "Omega Eclair" (changed to Plasma Storm). edit: And Chugga said it right afterwards.
Morpho Knight's lore is absolutely insane. In Japanese, he's called "Valfreya Knight", which is a nonsense word but the way it's spelled in Japanese makes it look very similar to the word "butterfly". Valfreya can also be broken down further into "Val-Freya", Freya being the Goddess of the Valkyries in Norse Mythology, making the "Val" part obvious. This is where his pause description gets the "day of Judgement" flavor - Morpho Knight is a spirit of death that reaps lost souls of warriors! Okay!
Shout out to my personal favorite description from the Guest Star Allies mode, for the Staff enemy Jammerjab: "Can true believers find their way?” The pink hero taught him that nothing is more precious than friends who believe in each other. And now he sets out to see the truth of this for himself!
Guest Star Allies might be a lot for completionists but the Dream Friends make it a Dream come true for players who’ve grown up playing any of the mainline Kirby games. From Rick,Kine, Koo to The Three Mage Sisters, not only is every Dream Friend’s run more time efficient, but each of them have sections that pay homage to the game that the Dream Friend debuts in. I think Emile would love the routes created for Magolor and Taranza. Magolor’s was my personal favorite.
Shout-out to Stephen & Mal's LP where they brought 3 Ricks to this stage, and they were all promptly crushed before they even got to the end of the room.
My siblings and I shared the same switch. With kirby star allies being our 3rd game, our profile icons are the three mage sisters, and we chose to designate each other to when it came to playing so we wouldn't mix each other up. No, we are not 3 sisters, we are just siblings.
Reminds me of when Super Gaming Bros tackled Team Chaotix for Sonic Heroes, they swapped off the controller for each character. I must imagine a similar chaos for what you went through.
Fun Fact: Kirby Star Allies is one of my most played switch games because I did indeed play through this mode with all 38 characters all the way through.😂 And although it was very repetitive, I still had a lot of fun playing through this mode with all the different characters and don’t have any regrets with the large amount of time I spent in this mode.😂
I played through each of them too. But playthroughs with the Dream Friends from Rick,Kine,Koo to The Three Mage Sisters are the ones really worth replaying. I love how much they pay homage to the Dream Friends’ game of origin.
Plus, besides doing multiple arena runs, it's the main way you're going to get the puzzle pieces you need to finish all of them. At least there are repetitive modes to do this, unlike the keychains or stickers where you basically end up grinding levels to get the last ones you need.
Same here. Guest Star goes a long way in keeping Kirby Star Allies one of my most replayable games on the Switch and among my personal favorites in the Kirby franchise.
[Sees butterfly] “Oh, neat. A butterfly.” [Turns around just as it sits on top of Galacta Knight’s sword] [Turns back] “Oh no, that knight just ate the butterfly!”
It's true with the ending, Every new member you beat the guest star mode with adds them to the audience I only did a few of them originally at launch, I might wanna complete them cause of this series
18:00 Jon is correct! Clearing guest star mode with an ally adds them into the audience during the credits of the mode, both after clearing a run and when re-watching the credits through the gallery in the main menu. If you're particularly crazy and/or bored enough, you can get the entire cast in the audience, but there's no reward in terms of completion for doing this. source: I would play this mode during bus rides to and from high school when the game first came out, since it was quick enough to clear one of the levels while waiting to get home. If memory serves, doing it with ALL the characters gets you a single textbox saying something along the lines of "you are the master of friends" or something... so yeah, you're not missing much if you decide to pass on clearing it with everyone.
14:53 First-timers: “Oh, neat. A butterfly.” 15:00 Everyone after this moment anytime they see a butterfly in a Kirby game ever again: “Oh, shit. A butterfly…”
I'm pretty sure that butterfly is in Superstar Ultra. But what was really shocking was finding out it's also in Kirby 64 and labeled as an enemy. I totally forgot but the orange butterfly is the only butterfly on the list of enemy cards you can collect. I always thought it was a joke and then forgot about it. But now I think it might have been intentional. Also if you want to stretch a bit, we don't know the colors of the butterflies in the first cutscene of Kirby's Dreamland, he could be one of them.
3:40 So we found out I was wrong last night on stream. Even Bandee, Dedede, and Meta Knight's Guest Star runs were truncated. Like I said, I only did a quick scrub through them and didn't notice any changes from someone else's vods before the updates especially since the times were very similar to my own times and the old times I had saved from before those updates. And a combination of having done so many guest star runs before any truncations, not having done them in about 3 years, and the fact that rick, Marx, Gooey, Adaleine, and Daroach still having the Delta section made me think that it they weren't removed for those 3 and they would be the original Guest Star lengths. Memory is a fun thing!
Guest Star’s title theme actually isn’t a new remix of The Adventure Begins from Return to Dream Land as it first appeared in Kirby’s Blowout Blast, in which it could play in the lobby of that game after tapping a Kirby Amiibo. I won’t spoil the Morpho theme for the Mage Sisters but the other themes are (most of these only have direct translations from Japanese so they might sound a bit off): Nightmare Battle, a remix of Nightmare’s theme for Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee Dark Cloudy, a medley of remixes of Dark Matter’s second phase theme and Cloudy Park’s cutscene theme from Dream Land 2, for Rick, Kine, and Coo Vs Marx, a remix of Marx’s battle theme from Super Star, for Marx Dark Matter in the Hyper Zone, a remix of Dark Matter’s battle theme from Dream Land 3, for Gooey The Girls' Battle with Darkness, a medley of remixes of 02's battle theme, Miracle Matter's battle theme, and Ripple Star's level select theme from Kirby 64, for Adeline and Ribbon Dark Mirage, a medley of remixes of the main boss theme and Dark Mind's 2nd phase theme from Amazing Mirror, for Dark Meta Knight True! Squeak Squad theme, a remix of the Squeak Squad's theme from Squeak Squad/Mouse Attack, for Daroach Supreme Ruler's Coronation - OVERLORD (the most complex song here, combining the most themes), a medley of remixes of C-R-O-W-N-E-D, Dangerous Dinner's stage select theme, the theme that plays during the Another Dimension shmup segment, the stage theme of Dangerous Dinner's 3rd stage, and the Arena title theme/the main True Arena battle theme/stage theme of Nutty Noon's 2nd stage (they all use the same motif) from Return to Dream Land, for Magolor Phantom of the Moon's Spirit, a medley of remixes of Sectonia's 2 main battle themes and the Hypernova segment of the final boss theme from Triple Deluxe, for Taranza Deus Ex Machina at a Young Age, a medley of remixes of Star Dream's 1st and 3rd phase theme, for Susie
So while this doesn't quite have the individual cool parts of the 3ds extra modes, I think it's one of the coolest Speedrun mode concepts for letting you spec Any ability of your choice, choose whether you want upgrades or progression, and the additions of dream friend bonuses. I got SOOOO giddy playing Adeline and seeing all the 64 references Also, ohhhh Morpho knight. A character who's lore is STILL up in the air due to the English translation and side modes being debatably canon and the context of a future appearance...
Every Dream Friend has specially crafted levels based on their game of origin in Guest Star. If you're a fan of any of the games, you might recognize some layouts! I do believe we are about to see a few of them in the Mage Sisters run!
For those curious, each of the Dream Friends with the exception of the original 3 all have unique areas during their Guest Star Journey. Also, each of the new sets of Dream Friends added 3 more Puzzles with the exception of the first new set. Also also, those new puzzles are adorable especially the final one One last thing: It was with the release of the 2nd Set of new Dream Friends that added in Save Files for Guest Star. Meaning that initially, once you picked a character, you were committed to it until you finished
I don't know if I heard Jon right since Chugga interrupted, but at 4:25 it almost sounds like Jon said "Montaro was usually on coke during Xenoblade". Also, Tim accidentally binning the [SECRET CHARACTER] reminds me of a little incident that happened at Christmas. I'd brought some cherry liqueur chocolates to the gathering, and my sister checked the ingredients on the box. Then, to my eternal disappointment, she fumbled the box and sent the chocolates scattering across the room. Sure, I still have several boxes stashed away, since they were going cheap when I got them, but I still felt a bit of my soul die when she fumbled those chocolates.
@@SpiritOfWaterMontaru I can totally relate. Right now, my coke is Against the Storm. It's a roguelite citybuilder, which sounds pretty buzzwordy, but for someone like me, it's DAMN compelling. It is for me what Factorio is like for MandaloreGaming. I have to be careful and moderate myself, otherwise I'd say "just one more settlement" and then the sun is rising. The last time I had that experience was last year, when I was in the home stretch of Disco Elysium.
I loved Kirby Superstar Deluxe, I used to play that game a lot. I especially loved the new modes in the game as well, the Meta Nightmare Deluxe and Helper to Hero were my favorites. I played every single helper in Helper to Hero all three times, to see how fast I could beat all the bosses. And Bonkers was always the fastest, due to his one move being the most powerful. I'm starting to miss that game now. 😔
Morpho Knight Morpho Knight like Meta Knight can be countered by clashing Swords Morpho Knight's boss theme depends on the Player 1's character selection. If it plays with any of the Dream Friends it's Boss Theme changes Meta Knight, Bandanna Waddle Dee and King Dedede will have a Nightmare theme Rick, Kine and Coo will have a Medley of Real Dark Matter and Cloudy Park Marx is a remix of VS. Marx theme Gooey has a remix of Dark Matter theme Dreamland 3 Adeleine and Ribbon is a medley of 02 boss theme, Miracle Matter Boss Theme and the Stage Select of Ripple Star Dark Meta Knight has a Medley of the Boss Theme of Amazing Mirror and Dark Mind Second Form theme Daroach is a remix of Squeak Squad Appears theme Magolor has a Medley of C-R-O-W-N-E-D, Dangerous Dinner, Fly Kirby! and Limitless Power Taranza has a Medley of Sullied Grace which is mixed with Green Greens, The World to Win and Fatal Blooms in Moonlight And finally Susie has a remix of Vangrant Counting Song of Retrospection and VS. Star Dream
I tried a bit of this mode on my cope of the game and I can indeed confirm that you get someone to join the audience once you play as them, definitely looking forward to seeing the Mage Sisters run so that's gonna be cool
So in Guest Star Mode, Highness opens a portal to another dimension and in time trial faster version fashion. Playing not as Kirby but the other Dream Friends you play five stages leading back to Termina and to Highness. After beating Highness, you fight against the extra boss that comes from the opening of dimensional portals that is Galacta Knight whom first introduced in Kirby's Return to Dreamland who appears out of a crystal which he was imprisoned in in his fight against Meta Knight in Planet Robobot. You meet him again here but with a twist where a flaming butterfly appears and merges with Galacta Knight to become Morpho Knight. Completing Guest Stars and Heroes of Another Dimension unlocks more to Ultimate Choice and Soul Melter.
You’re wrong about where Galacta Knight originated from. He was actually first introduced in the DS game, Kirby Super Star Ultra. He was the final boss in Meta Knight’s run.
07:25 Tim's surprising Snafus continue~ I think Jon might've had his blood pressure raised by Tim than Emile in the last few parts. Could such a thing be possible?
Emile's the one who says things that annoy Jon. Tim's the one who screws up because he has trouble paying attention. But Jon gets vocally angry at Emile more often, so Tim's Fubars tend to slip under the radar.
Interesting way to run through Guest Star mode. I figured that you'd use The Three Mage-Sisters, but it was cool to see some action with Chef Kawasaki. This is my favorite mode in the entire game. By proxy, it is my favorite Extra Mode in all of the Kirby games I played. I'm not afraid to say that I ran through Guest Star with every playable Friend. The audience will fill up with everyone as you complete their romps. Seeing what'll happen with The Three-Mage Sisters will be fun.
Oh ok, _now's_ the time they get crushed by the blocks in the Divine Terminus in stupid ways. There's what I expected to happen in the Story Mode. Turns out all we had to do was wait until Guest Star. I'm not super familiar with this Montaru person, but I'm already liking them solely due to their help on the final stretch of this series. This was probably the best way they could've handled Guest Star, considering the Dream Friend runs are more interesting, and the Mage-Sisters' run has a bunch of different level sections from all of the other Dream Friend runs, so we'll be able to get a taste of everyone else's run too. Guest Star is definitely one of the best parts of this game, and I'm glad this LP will be able to show off some of the cooler parts of it. Even though its first fight here is admittedly way too simplistic, Morpho Knight completely blew my mind when I first played this game. I was initially disappointed that the secret boss was going to be Galacta Knight yet again (especially since his fight in Planet Robobot was already near-identical to his Return to Dream Land fight, even if it was still fun), but then a fucking butterfly of all things absorbs him and we get a brand new character instead. I thought that bringing back the old butterfly knight concept from the Kirby 20th Anniversary booklet all these years later was so insanely cool, and partially as a result of that, Morpho Knight has become one of my favorite Kirby bosses (though a big part of that is also due to its future fights after this first one being pretty damn fun). An interesting observation regarding this first appearance of Morpho Knight: it seems that based on the wording of the japanese pause description (which mentions something like "the cries of the many years spent living") and the friend ability heart outline being present during Galacta's absorption, Galacta may have possibly _wanted_ to be absorbed by the butterfly. Perhaps he too was tired of being summoned repeatedly to fight someone and just wanted to move onto the afterlife already (though since Guest Star is non-canon, who knows if Galacta Knight was absorbed by the butterfly in the main canon or not).
Francisca is primarily ice, but her squirt gun move (which can be angled mid-fire) has water properties, so she's two in one for elements! Flamberge and Zan Partizanne are fire and lightning respectively, so the only missing element here is wind. Maybe Emile will finally realize that Magalor's dash attack counts for this element? Who can say? Either way I would recommend a weapon ally to stick elements on (espeically wind, to double up on it).
Interesting Fact 1: That portal in the end of Guest Star Mode. We didn’t know about where Galactic Knight came from, until Super Kirby Clash’s TRUE Finale. & 2nd, according to Metorz, that portal was created after the events of the Main Game. Speaking of that darkness, next time, try to do a run of Guest Star Allies with any of the DLC friends.(3 Mages Sisters not included)
Now you just have to beat the 2 newly added difficulties to play the ultimate choice on Soul Melter difficulty. And now that you’ve unlocked dream friends for Guest Star, now the first player should play as the 3 mage sisters and fight a harder version of Morpho Knight. Once that’s done, and you cleared Soul Melter, you can finally play the Ultimate Choice on Soul Melter EX difficulty. Good luck with all that.
This was my first (non-emulated)Kirby game, and I'm still grinding out every Guest Star run, because I want to fill out my Jukebox, but I want to have everyone in the crowd for my final completion. My first Guest Star was Chilly. Can't wait to see you take on The Ultimate Choice! I'm never forgetting that one!
Emile and Jon are based about how awesome the Mage Sisters are. Zan Partizanne is indeed an epic name as they're super fun and broken to play as. Only Tim doesn't know about it by dropping them. :D
Why is it that among the villains in Kirby, the Mage Sisters are my definite favorite, and nothing before or after them could ever top that? Take guesses, there are plenty of reasons.

Since most of TRG isn't familiar with all the long-standing Kirby tropes, Morpho Knight's appearance is a slight joke that harkens back to the very first game. My brothers and I joked for years that butterflies were the harbingers of doom in Kirby because they always showed up right before the inciting event for adventure happened, and the butterfly from Return to Dreamland onward was THE SAME red and yellow butterfly. They knew what they were doing.
Here it is, the first in-game appearance of Morpho Knight…aaaand his first fight is kinda lame ngl. Considering how juiced up you’ll probably be and how predictable his attacks are, it doesn’t hold a candle to the Galacta Knight fights before. Even when you first fight him the Ultimate Choice, he’s still easy enough to read. On the bright side, he does get redeemed in both the Ultimate Choice’s true final run and especially Forgotten Land
2:00 I played through this entire mode, using every single character, playing the same level, over and over again. Definitely, one of the Dumbest Things I've done in gaming.
fun fact in the English version Morpho knights lore is hardly told however in the Japanese version it goes into more detail on what morpho knight really is. Basically its like a grim reaper it appears when someone's time in the living is up and absorbs their soul's I believe forgotten land also adds in that his sword is made up of the screams of the dead it's absorbs only in kirby
Yeah I only recently read Morpho Knight's Flavor Text for the first time, as well as his EX version and uh... What in the unholy %$*& are these Butterflies??? They were in the opening of Planet Robobot, there's at least 3 of them. Why are the butterflies the Harbingers of the Apocalypse, oh dear god there might be a fourth one...
The original Japanese description gives more insight, saying it's from "paradise" and seems to act as an angel of sorts that brings judgment to individuals instead of overall judgment. The butterfly could also be seen as a psychopomp (or spirit guide), with butterflies being iconic psychopomp in Japanese mythology. Japanese Description translation: "On the day of judgment when something dies, a butterfly of paradise flies in from parts unknown. Sympathizing with endless cries for life from the white knight said to be the greatest in the galaxy, it turns into a knight from the underworld and descends. A dream battle with a being that was never meant to be fought, buried in the darkness of history... will now begin!"
I don't mean this horribly, but when Tim got the sisters the first time i wasn't the excited as he just isn't the best with using the characters and has died the most, (i say this as someone who coupd not play this game as I'd have the same issues, i do not have the memory, skill, or brain power to pull off all the different moves for the different characters). But then he got it a second time and i wondered why Emile didn't take them this time? As they woulda been way better with him and we would have acrually got to see them in action! Though yeah, it's wild how Emile played this qhole game with his impatience repeatedly causing trouble, yet nothing's changed haha
so fun fact about morpho knight. The design was actually supposed to have been for Meta Knight in the lost Gamecube kirby game. and as another fun fact his actual boss theme is able to change depending on who you bring in meaning you can hear a fantastic remix of Nightmare's theme if you play as Dedede, Bandana Dee, and Meta Knight
We might see more Kirby. I'm sure HAL labs will make another 4-player Kirby game at some point. And even then, there's the Kirby spinoffs like Kirby Fighters 2 and Kirby's Dream Buffet they could play if they ever need a filler series.
Morpho Knight's fight is very underwhelming, even without the stat boosts. It's the easiest secret knight boss, which sucks cause its design is really cool
Oh boy Guest Star mode Ive got ALOT to mention into when we get to the next part Back when this game came out, i ended up doing *every* regular enemy run AND the glitched kirby run. It was long and hell, but getting the full crowd for the credits was worth it once the post release dream friends started getting added
I do think Galacta Knight did need a break, as he was appearing in every other game with very similar battles and no huge developments on who he is (until Super Kirby Clash). Since we saw one super powerful fighter break free from Morpho, it's possible he has the chance to come back too.
Sweet. Time for Guest Star ???? Mode Can’t believe that butterfly that was always in those cutscenes took over Galacta knight. Pretty sure Mortho knight is a beta design.

9:29 yeah that was Emile dont even try to pin the blame on Tim for that
Kirby going to court and fighting edgeworth should be the plot of AA7
Morpho Knight's lore is absolutely insane.
In Japanese, he's called "Valfreya Knight", which is a nonsense word but the way it's spelled in Japanese makes it look very similar to the word "butterfly". Valfreya can also be broken down further into "Val-Freya", Freya being the Goddess of the Valkyries in Norse Mythology, making the "Val" part obvious. This is where his pause description gets the "day of Judgement" flavor - Morpho Knight is a spirit of death that reaps lost souls of warriors! Okay!
Jon could not *i-mage-ine* that they would lose the three sisters not just once but twice that quickly...
Petition to have Montaruguest star in a future protect (no pun intended) because DANG it sounds like he'd hit it off with emile well.
Shout out to my personal favorite description from the Guest Star Allies mode, for the Staff enemy Jammerjab:
"Can true believers find their way?”
The pink hero taught him that nothing is more precious than friends who believe in each other. And now he sets out to see the truth of this for himself!
Morpho Knight is such a cool concept! It was so cool seeing him canonized by Forgotten Land as well.
To be fair that room is infamous for how often it causes death with the crushing, ESPECIALLY for the CPU
Shout-out to Stephen & Mal's LP where they brought 3 Ricks to this stage, and they were all promptly crushed before they even got to the end of the room.
mood@@catblackburn7486
Perpetually confused on what Morpho Knight is supposed to be but equally intimidated when he appears
Tim accidentally deleting the best character in the game from the team is a top 10 moment for me, luckily it was reversible
14:55 Remember the one SpongeBob episode called “wormy?” Cause that’s what Morpho Knight reminded me of.
[Sees butterfly]
“Oh, neat. A butterfly.”
[Turns around just as it sits on top of Galacta Knight’s sword]
[Turns back]
“Oh no, that knight just ate the butterfly!”
It's true with the ending, Every new member you beat the guest star mode with adds them to the audience
I only did a few of them originally at launch, I might wanna complete them cause of this series
When Helper to Hero and Dededetour/Meta Knightmare Ultra/Returns love each other very much…
Thanks for the help Montaru!!
14:53
First-timers: “Oh, neat. A butterfly.”
15:00
Everyone after this moment anytime they see a butterfly in a Kirby game ever again: “Oh, shit. A butterfly…”
Did not know that about Super Star having a woodblock aesthetic. Kirby art is so neat.
the butterfly is the same one that kept appearing on every kirby game after return the dreamland
morpho knight was always there
I'm pretty sure that butterfly is in Superstar Ultra.
Huh, and here I was expecting an actual gap like Jon said at the start. Glad to see I was wrong!
7:41 I see Jon's been playing Star Ocean 2 R at the time, wonder how he enjoyed it
3:40 So we found out I was wrong last night on stream.
I won’t spoil the Morpho theme for the Mage Sisters but the other themes are (most of these only have direct translations from Japanese so they might sound a bit off):
Nightmare Battle, a remix of Nightmare’s theme for Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee
Dark Cloudy, a medley of remixes of Dark Matter’s second phase theme and Cloudy Park’s cutscene theme from Dream Land 2, for Rick, Kine, and Coo
Vs Marx, a remix of Marx’s battle theme from Super Star, for Marx
Dark Matter in the Hyper Zone, a remix of Dark Matter’s battle theme from Dream Land 3, for Gooey
The Girls' Battle with Darkness, a medley of remixes of 02's battle theme, Miracle Matter's battle theme, and Ripple Star's level select theme from Kirby 64, for Adeline and Ribbon
Dark Mirage, a medley of remixes of the main boss theme and Dark Mind's 2nd phase theme from Amazing Mirror, for Dark Meta Knight
True! Squeak Squad theme, a remix of the Squeak Squad's theme from Squeak Squad/Mouse Attack, for Daroach
Supreme Ruler's Coronation - OVERLORD (the most complex song here, combining the most themes), a medley of remixes of C-R-O-W-N-E-D, Dangerous Dinner's stage select theme, the theme that plays during the Another Dimension shmup segment, the stage theme of Dangerous Dinner's 3rd stage, and the Arena title theme/the main True Arena battle theme/stage theme of Nutty Noon's 2nd stage (they all use the same motif) from Return to Dream Land, for Magolor
Phantom of the Moon's Spirit, a medley of remixes of Sectonia's 2 main battle themes and the Hypernova segment of the final boss theme from Triple Deluxe, for Taranza
Deus Ex Machina at a Young Age, a medley of remixes of Star Dream's 1st and 3rd phase theme, for Susie
So while this doesn't quite have the individual cool parts of the 3ds extra modes, I think it's one of the coolest Speedrun mode concepts for letting you spec Any ability of your choice, choose whether you want upgrades or progression, and the additions of dream friend bonuses. I got SOOOO giddy playing Adeline and seeing all the 64 references
Also, ohhhh Morpho knight. A character who's lore is STILL up in the air due to the English translation and side modes being debatably canon and the context of a future appearance...
WOOO YEAHHH YOU GUYS SAW MY FAVORITE KIRBY VILLAN YEAHHH WOOOOO!!
The gap was the uploading schedule skipping a day!
Whoo hoo, more stuff from Kirby. Thank you Jon's moderator for tips and tricks for the Guest Stars mode.
👍
Tim: Is it Edgeworth?
Jon: No, it’s not Edgeworth.
Also also, those new puzzles are adorable especially the final one
One last thing: It was with the release of the 2nd Set of new Dream Friends that added in Save Files for Guest Star. Meaning that initially, once you picked a character, you were committed to it until you finished
9:24 Emile did it!!
15:10 oh I’ve been waiting for this moment
And unlike the Guys, you couldn't just reload a save after that!
Xenoblade is my coke
It’s gonna be like Dokapon where they need to remember the controls huh
Morpho Knight
Morpho Knight like Meta Knight can be countered by clashing Swords
Morpho Knight's boss theme depends on the Player 1's character selection. If it plays with any of the Dream Friends it's Boss Theme changes
Meta Knight, Bandanna Waddle Dee and King Dedede will have a Nightmare theme
Rick, Kine and Coo will have a Medley of Real Dark Matter and Cloudy Park
Marx is a remix of VS. Marx theme
Gooey has a remix of Dark Matter theme Dreamland 3
Adeleine and Ribbon is a medley of 02 boss theme, Miracle Matter Boss Theme and the Stage Select of Ripple Star
Dark Meta Knight has a Medley of the Boss Theme of Amazing Mirror and Dark Mind Second Form theme
Daroach is a remix of Squeak Squad Appears theme
Magolor has a Medley of C-R-O-W-N-E-D, Dangerous Dinner, Fly Kirby! and Limitless Power
Taranza has a Medley of Sullied Grace which is mixed with Green Greens, The World to Win and Fatal Blooms in Moonlight
And finally Susie has a remix of Vangrant Counting Song of Retrospection and VS. Star Dream
I tried a bit of this mode on my cope of the game and I can indeed confirm that you get someone to join the audience once you play as them, definitely looking forward to seeing the Mage Sisters run so that's gonna be cool
Wow. Six months sure went by fast.
Emile’s impatience must be hair pulling at times. But has some of the best content.
15:31
Jon, you try to ignore it, but you totally said “advertisy”
Chef Kawasaki is very helpful for the soul melter and the ex version
Interesting Fact 1: That portal in the end of Guest Star Mode. We didn’t know about where Galactic Knight came from, until Super Kirby Clash’s TRUE Finale. & 2nd, according to Metorz, that portal was created after the events of the Main Game. Speaking of that darkness, next time, try to do a run of Guest Star Allies with any of the DLC friends.(3 Mages Sisters not included)
7:26 Oops
Huh. The schedule changed by a day. And just when I was going through the Return to Dream Land LP
I wish touching a butterfly turned me into a super strong intergalactic being.
9:26 that was definitely emile
TRG Kirby Star Allies stats so far:
(For the main story mode, only Stars reported at the end of each stage, both first time and revisit, were counted.) [Boss stages weren't counted because they didn't show the stars collected.]
(The scores in the future side modes will be counted as well.)
Ya, it looks like it's down to the Mage Sisters run of Guest Star and the Ultimate Choice.

Jon: One of my mods is probably the biggest Kirby fan I know.
....do these 3 not know Antdude?
Ah, Morpho Knight. I thought he was new to "Forgotten Land" because that was the first time I'd seen him.
Basically its like a grim reaper it appears when someone's time in the living is up and absorbs their soul's I believe forgotten land also adds in that his sword is made up of the screams of the dead it's absorbs
only in kirby
Japanese Description translation:
"On the day of judgment when something dies, a butterfly of paradise flies in from parts unknown. Sympathizing with endless cries for life from the white knight said to be the greatest in the galaxy, it turns into a knight from the underworld and descends. A dream battle with a being that was never meant to be fought, buried in the darkness of history... will now begin!"
So are uploads are now Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays? Or was this suppose to be out yesterday?
Oh boy!
montaru is a king
UwU
No, it was included in the Meta Knight section, but they've confirmed the design was always supposed to be its own character.
I thought Emile had finished Forgotten Land. Maybe he didn't play the postgame? Because he didn't recognize Morpho Knight
you should know that every special star ally has a unique guest star mode that mimics stages from their original game
I do like that when you get to the final boss with marx that it's HIS theme playing not morpho knights lol
And we've already forgotten the patient playstyle!
We are never seeing another Kirby let’s play again after this series lol
wdym?
We might see more Kirby. I'm sure HAL labs will make another 4-player Kirby game at some point. And even then, there's the Kirby spinoffs like Kirby Fighters 2 and Kirby's Dream Buffet they could play if they ever need a filler series.
Doesn't Emile plan to get TRG to help him play the Kirby Fighters mode of Triple Deluxe?
Morpho Knight's fight is very underwhelming, even without the stat boosts. It's the easiest secret knight boss, which sucks cause its design is really cool
It's kinda hard to take all these superbosses seriously when they're all just recolors of Meta Knight
guess the other hearts from the other mode will be shown in a future video
“Is it Edgeworth?”
Oh boy Guest Star mode
Ive got ALOT to mention into when we get to the next part
Back when this game came out, i ended up doing *every* regular enemy run AND the glitched kirby run. It was long and hell, but getting the full crowd for the credits was worth it once the post release dream friends started getting added
You should do Adeline's story too
I guess Beetle will be forever ignored. It's a sad day for Beetle fans everywhere.
IT’S BEEN SO LONG
I'm sad that Galacta Knight was replaced because it was a different fight, I hope he can come back.

Mode
Can’t believe that butterfly that was always in those cutscenes took over Galacta knight. Pretty sure Mortho knight is a beta design.
