    Legendary video. Just got an FRS and i want to install an exhaust but I have never done anything on a car before. I think this is a good first mod to do and learn about how your car works and this video was magnificent. Well done!

    Good job. Just an added tip to anyone else who watches this, when using a band clamp like that, its recommended to put the bolt of the clamp 90 degrees to the notches in the larger diameter piping to avoid leaks. Torque is usually 45 ft lbs on those type of clamps if anyone actually cares lol

    Awesome tutorial! This looks way easier than you would think, and probably saves a ton of $ paying labor to a shop. My only problem is finding a bolt on catback for my Q5 2.0t. Flowmaster makes a really nice kit for about $800 for the 3.0t, but not for the 2.0t. I messaged them to find out if it would be compatible with my vehicle. Hopefully I may get some good news. Your new exhaust sounds awesome, I'm sure you love it! Thanks for posting!

    I have an Invidia Q300 also and did you get this exhaust because the big flat muffler helps the aerodynamics underneath? Savagegeeese says it help against the parachute effect.

    How would you adjust the tips if they are uneven?

    • @backyardchevy328
      @backyardchevy328  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The 4 rubber hangers in the back, if u take the weight off hangers they have enough play to adjust em to the left or right

    How much hp do you think you gained?

    • @backyardchevy328
      @backyardchevy328  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well normally u wont gain much since the most restrictive part of exhaust is the cstalytic converter..so id say probably 5-8hp...but it does open it up at higher rpms
