I'm gutted I missed this. Never knew anything about this display or I would have definitly gone to see this. So near yet so far as Warrington is only 40mins drive away from me but I'm 24 years to bloody late!
Wish they had the model of the Mark IX Hawk from the SPACE: 1999 episode "War Games". When Production Enterprise began producing diecast Eagle models, one of which I bought, I had hopes they would produce a Hawk as well, but, alas, they never did.
I had that model when I was 11 years old .. Had 3 eagles and some craft from UFO, had a moonscape set up on a table, with black star back ground. My version of Moon Base Alpha.. Friends and I shot super 8 film with fishing wire for the space crafts . All gone now. I wish to heck I had those films. Something about these kinda keep you in touch with being a kid.. indefinably cool to see.
Never figured out why the base did not build ultra prove ships in the base or any Voyager ships. A Plot Error , I assume that there were one of the those ships in the hangars while the Moon was blasted out of the Earth's Orbit in the Show
For your first use of a camcorder, pretty darn good. I enjoy the VHS aesthetic.. These hand crafted models are the things of being young and imaginative. Really cool.
Bonjour!
That Eagle model in the beginning is what I have wished round 2 would have done with their Studio scale Eagle model with different interchangeable pods but instead you have to buy a new whole new kit with each pod instead of selling the pods separately ???😠
Bower does exceedingly fine work. His models are cutting edge.
Wow, almost my whole childhood is in that place!
Those designs still kicks ass
- good models is way better than CGI
They should remake the show
❤
@@DavidWilliams-el4zt why remake, why always 'remake' when the means simply exists to continue ?

Any model builder would love this , including me 😎😀
Wonderful collection! All of the early Gerry / Sylvia Anderson stuff was usually on the top of Science Fiction enthusiasts list. - Really Great!
Fantastica coleccion , siempre ame esas series: space 1999 y ufo ! saludos desde Argentina
Want to see this Place!! Thank You Very Much for Sharing!!
imo - Most iconic sci fi models on the planet! These are absolute genius and at the time nothing came close.
There is some nice design work there!
Thanks for sharing this video clip.
I actually got chills! I am way too nostalgic

I've always thought that the Voyager and Ultra Probe designs for Space: 1999 were quite good.
I agree, but it's not really clear where the Eagle docked on the Ultra probe. Space: 1999 frequently had problems like that.
Never figured out why the base did not build ultra prove ships in the base or any Voyager ships. A Plot Error , I assume that there were one of the those ships in the hangars while the Moon was blasted out of the Earth's Orbit in the Show
Great models i'am a fan of Gerry Anderson and scifi

Gerry Anderson was aheas of his time, he should go down as one of great scientists of our time.
Sorry but Gerry was no scientist! Successful Producer of SciFi TV shows even if scientifically inaccurate! Doppelgänger, UFO, Space 1999 etc.

Loved this. Had bit of a laugh when I saw the UFO, the panels along the outer edge were made from guitar picks (which the original series didn't do).
The Eagle design is so real to life possible...maybe it actually is a REAL craft that was in super secret operation?
I liked the Eagles ...
I wasn't into collecting, but I did have the metal Eagle with Green cockpit.
Lovely amazing actual Models, way better than most of todays "fake looking" CGI.
Still better than Star Trek Discovery
Watching paint dry is better than star trek discovery
Sad Dalek without eyestalk. "MY VISION IS IMPAIRED!"
