That chain contact surface area lubing on the inner chain is something I have never seen doing... 95℅ of the people lube from top of the chain and not the inner chain area...Very informative as always junaid bhai
I wish video bas chalta hi rahe.. its really intresting nd informative. The way you explain all things that probably 90% mechanic don't know. Thank you so much for all the information :)
I just received my chain cleaning kit from Amazon as ordered online and was planning to see some video on youtube to know how to clean and lube the chain .... And WoW ... Your Vlog is out on the same topic. So no search engine required .... Junaid Bhai you are doing wonders in this series of motorcycle maintenance and the way to do different jobs. Love your Vlogs secondly .... Firstly I Love JUNAID BHAI. Ride Hard Ride Safe Explore more ..Rabb Rakha 🙏🏼
Very informative video.. Keep up the good work.. Also if you have any workshops planned please post a link.. And keep making such detailed videos of bike maintainace
I'm actually surprised that you've suggested using Petrol. I've only heard that petrol is not supposed to be used as it would damage the X/O rings of the chain.. Isn't diesel the best option out of Kerosene/Petrol and Diesel?
Bhai awesome information. Really helpful.... Sab bus dreams dikhate hai. You show how to acheive them. Actually this is really important connection between human n machine. Please iss tarah ke video latte rahiye.
Love your videos and I takeaway so much from it but why did you use petrol on the chain? Won’t that damage the chain rings? As per my knowledge we should never use petrol to clean the chains. Kerosene and diesel are the best alternatives to the chain cleaners.
I bought motul chain lube twice...one was oily and lasted little longer. Whereas another was completely different which is little sticky and dries little quickly...which one is real
Petrol itself isn’t harmful for the O-rings. It is the ethanol in petrol that tends to break down the polymer thereby degrading the O ring that too if it is in contact for a very long time. The best option is to clean chain, then wash the bike and while doing so squirting some water on the chain. As ethanol dissolves in water it will take away the excess ethanol. Post this lube chain with generous amount to keep it protected,
Never use petrol , Diesel or kerosene , fuel contents lot of impurities , sulphur after drying it get stick to chain and with the help of water and oxygen rusting start , also damage O-ring . Use recommended products from OEM this product are gone to several test . Try German product wuerth chain spray and cleaner ,brake clear also.
It's kind a hard to get according to your bike like it's easy to get the Himalayan service manual but not easy to get the rtr 160 or ns 160 service manual.... Anyway to your answer sir's suggestion was to bribe the service center guy to take the book for sometime and Xerox it 😅 that was sir used to do earlier...
Bhai I am using WD - 40 as a chain cleaner since 7 years. Works amazing to remove all the squeeks and konks. Lubricates very good for many kilometers. I always lubricate the chain from the inside part first 👍
Funny thing. Even chain manufacturers say that you can use Kerosene, but never petrol. People who have tested dipping chain O/X rings in both have confirmed the same. Even if you don't know about these tests, take your advice from official service manuals or formally trained mechanics if you are in doubt. An informally trained mechanic, while he may have decades of experience, might have been doing it wrong for all those decades due to misinformation or budget constraints. When doing maintenance on a costly high-performance machine, be wiser and more informed.

Isn't diesel the best option out of Kerosene/Petrol and Diesel?
That’s true, never use petrol, the chain cleaner that’s used is actually 80% kerosene
chain cleaner/Diesel
Diesel is what I’ve seen people recommending

What about WD40 as chain cleaner? Works good, but not as evaporative like petrol

Just don't use petrol, it is that simple. Especially during rides. Note that even chain manufacturers warn strongly against using petrol.
❤️❤️

Yes you can... 👍 Just google it

O ring chain sprocket will start making noise if you clean it with petrol.
