  • Evening all, just got around to a little edit of Crib Goch from a trip back in July
I spotted a little weather window and had the urge to make the 8 hour round trip from Cumbria, The whole week was a washout but the forecast was giving a quick turnaround for clear skies on the Saturday evening and Sunday morning which meant there was no rush to get there. I decided to go and camp between Crib Goch and Crib y Ddysgl on the hunch that the quick turnaround would kick up something special, sometimes I just get this huge pull that I need to be somewhere Crib was definitely calling and after witnessing some epic scenes that evening and morning I knew why, I managed to get my overnight gear down to a very lightweight 10kg a record for me and packed into a 25 litre bag meant I could enjoy the ridge and scrambles like a normal day hike to pitch up and witness some very special sights from the ridge ranking this up there with one of my favourite camps, I just love to see the cloud on the boil like a Cauldron against sunsets, sunrises and inversions.
Just like to say a big thanks to all subscribers for following my channel I've had a recent rise of subs on the back of a charity camp for mountain rescue with David Blair aka Solo Summiteer we were out helping raise funds by participating in this great cause for Duddon and Furness Mountain rescue, Organised by Alan Hovarth which reached over £5000 so well done to all involved. Thanks to Dave for the recommendation to his subs on my mountain videography and welcome to the channel.
Hope you enjoy the footage & select 4k for full resolution
Don't forget to thumbs up and push past the Algorithm
    Many Thanks
    Best Regards Rob

Oh Rob. That was awesome. I didn't think you'd top the Scafel or the Scotland scenes. But I think you may have. Great shots. You really got lucky with that light. Made me want to get more drone shots next time I'm out for sure ... well done mr

@MountainManJohnFilms Thanks John that's the aim mate always learning and trying to get better, normally a nice stroll across crib is enough but to witness all this in 12 hours and being up on the ridge 4 times plus a camp in between puts it up there as one of my favourite little adventures yet, Thankyou mate 👍

@trevortaylor1348 Thankyou mate, I had a little hunch I'd see something special, maybe the possibility of inversion with the quick turnaround in conditions but never expected so much to happen in 12 hours I was up and down on that ridge like a yo yo 😂👍

Wow! Mind blown! Love how you make the clips dance with the music. Incredible filming skillz!
I didn't have the balls for crib goch but opted for Miners and Pyg.

@londonviking3801 Thankyou mate, my first hike to snowdon was via pyg track for a winter sunrise, incredible morning and it was a very memorable one with 360 inversion. I was a bit green with the drone back then and my pictures were way better than the footage 😂 its been a lucky peak for me witnessing 5 inversions from 6 visits
It can be a bit airy up there but as you can see from the drone its nowhere near as severe as the 360 cam and go pros make it. Thankyou mate atb 🙏🏻🏔
