    Your channels are a couple of my favorites on TH-cam. I always want to watch a movie or Game of Thrones in the evening but I always end up watching your videos. Especially the Disney ones. I was born in 1971 but you bring back more memories I have of Disneyland than many of the other Disney channels on here. Random, educational and nostalgic. Best way to go to bed at night. Thank you Justine!

    Hey Justin! I just wanted to say that you are a huge inspiration! So I was at a Tiki bar the other day and I was sitting with some very lovely ladies, but I couldn’t help but think, man I wish Justin were here too because he would surely appreciate the themeing here more than anyone!
    I definitely realize that some of my own video channel creativity is inspired by what you do here. I love how you are able to take often unappreciated things in your surroundings and really take the time to acknowledge and enjoy them. I think you help us all to remember to not take many aspects of life for granted. So thank you for all that you do!

    Watching this video made me think back to all the different things McDonald's has had. Although, I remember everything, I am old enough to have experienced it. I even remember the McDonald's buildings where you couldn't eat inside and had the arches that went into the building.

    Great video Justin! I didn't know there was a wigwam in San Bernardino! I grew up in Riverside, so this surprised me:) glad to see you back at the original McDonald's! For whatever reason, that's always been one of my favorite Randomlands :)

  • @FiftyOneFifty
    @FiftyOneFifty 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Justin, I'm sure the secret door would have led to the upper level of the wigwam and would have totally been worth the two hour shower to clear out your sinuses. Seriously, thanks to you and Adam for checking out the roadside attractions most of us would cruise right by and for giving us a list of ones worth stopping for. I knew a couple guys who worked at Mickey D's in college and their uniforms were always stiff as a board's with grease so I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

    The first McDonalds I ever went to was several miles from our house, so it was a big deal to go. This was before toys or anything specifically for kids. In fact it was back in the day when their TV advertising slogan was "Change Back From Your Dollar." That's right, back then you could get a hamburger, small Coke and small fries for $1! Of course, that was the menu price and if you lived in a state with sales tax the price came to more than a dollar, but still ... I remember that the restaurant had Formica-topped tables and vinyl-padded chairs and there was a screen door on the building. That was 50 years ago. Last time I was back in that part of the country I drove by the site of that old McDonalds and to my surprise there is a modern McDonalds in the exact same location.

    I actually found your channel by watching the McDonald's museum randomland. Even though I like like 10 mins away from it and fifteen minutes from the wigwam motel which has a very seedy representation around town. Also that McDonald you took ally to was just rebuilt. The original building was torn down and then rebuilt this year.

    Those old school McDonald's styrofoam containers gave me serious nostalgia feels! I swear Big Macs used to taste better when they came in those things. I genuinely believe they should find an environmentally friendly way of going back to those containers; not only do they look much cooler, but the paper ones have absolutely no heat retaining properties whatsoever!

    AWESOME, Justin! Loved that Ally gave you a subtle but deadly stink eye at 13:45 for the height joke. You're lucky that she didn't retaliate. ;-) And the "pee-pee in a teepee" bit - PRICELESS! (I'm easily entertained). Seeing what the wigwams look like inside was amazing, but I side with Ally - definitely a novelty place, and not meant for long-term. Thanks once again; you're definitely upholding the Disney position of "Infotainment" - information packaged in an entertaining format. Thanks!(PS - Be very nice to Ally; not only is she incredibly cute, adorable and sweet, but she's the perfect foil to your comedy stylings!)
    EDIT: I understand that the owner of the Wigwam Motel has addressed Justin and Company's assessment, and has gone the extra distance to insure that all was smoothed over and taken care of. Good work, sir! And thank you.
