Now, more than ever, it is imperative that we keep the voices of the past alive not only for ourselves but for the generations to come so they can see the past and hopefully incorporate it into the future - and I hope that there are those out there who will ensure that these ghost towns are not forgotten and fade away into the night. Without the past, we would not have a future.
Oh my gosh this is awesome!!! Thanks for visiting!! We can’t wait to tell the Airbnb owner you loved the cabin! 😅 Thank you!!!! 🎉
I'm going to Nevada over spring break with my grandparents and I think I'll recommend we go here. Last spring break we went to San Diego and we planned to go to the Desert View Tower after seeing your video of it, that is until I got sick halfway through our vacation. I love your videos Justin, can't wait to see where they may take us next spring break.
Thnx alot guys!!!! You make it really fun watching your Videos with all your different voices impersonating these people lol. Thnx I really enjoy you all and thanks for making this awesome Video!!! ❤🎉😂😮😅😅
Too bad we missed you, we’re on our way out there.
We really enjoy it when you do these sorts of videos and I love my Randomland hat.
That one dog was giving you "What For"...cause he never got his RANDOMLAND monogramed Collar that he ordered!😁
Hahaha that Reagan impression that no one under 40 is going to appreciate. I caught it Justin, spot on lol
I heard it too 👍
I heard it too, and I'm WELL under 40!
I heard it!!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
As a Nevadan, thanks for sharing. That's one small-town I haven't visited yet 😊
Come back!!! I’ll totally show u guys around! Plus some visits to some mines!! My husband LOVES your channel! 😊 So many cool places!!!!!
They needed a local guide…you woulda been great! 😊
First time seeing your videos. man you are hilarious, love your old man voice.
I’ll definitely watch more just for the laughs.❤❤❤
"That looks like someone's man cave exploded. What does Mike Wolf grom American Pickers own it?" CLASSIC Justin Scarred line for the video. LOVE it!!!

Great episode. It’s great seeing all three of you out on the road.
It's so great to see. So fun to watch. Haha
So funny and informative...love the ending..You guys rock
I Love these places!!! Thank you for sharing this little gem in Nevada!!!
You guys are great. I'm feeling under the weather today....but you got me laughing 😂 thanks for a wonderful and entertaining video.
Justin you gotta experience Pioche on Labor Day weekend. Street dances, parades, and fireworks set off by the volunteer FD in the park super fun. Also the Overland is totally worth a stay
I worked as an NDOT intern last year in the middle of nowhere in Lincoln County, and I passed by Pioche a couple of times. Quite an interesting town!
I grew up around the mining towns of Colorado, but that skyway ore car system blows my mind! Never seen anything like it.
Love the second court house awesome art deco style from the 30’s.
My neice and her husband lived in Pioche and we loved visiting her. There are also good fishing places and parks about 5 to 10 miles from Pioche.
So many great outdoor rec opportunities! 🎉
That arial tramway reminded me of Cero Gordo. Would be awesome to see you go there for a few days and have a chat with Brent.
Btw are you sure that was a plunger and not the remains of a Dalek?
Great adventure, Justin!! Thank you!
Love the broom, George😊
Great video! Added Pioche to my Nevada 'want to visit' list on Google Maps for next time i'm in the US 😀
A non-Disney Land video... FINALLY!
He does a lot of amazing things and places
This had me rolling!! 😂🤣 Justin keep up the great videos. Love your authenticity!!! 🙏🏽
I love this. We've been to a lot of mining towns in Navada and Montana...how we missed this gem..idk..lol...wow. we love places like this
Headingback to VirginiaCityNevadain July! Im so glad you did this!:I think we will make a pitstop in July!
This was awesome. Thankyou kiddo!❤
That was a fun video!!
Another awesome and informative video. Why local tourist bodies haven't started hiring or sponsoring you is beyond me. You ALWAYS do a great job of explaining and investigating the townships you go to.
This is so awesome!!!
Really enjoyed this..another place for our list .
I loved this video. I haven't watched you for awhile. I missed your humor. I have wanted to go to Pioche. You beat me to it. Thanks. Home means Nevada.
Great video Justin ..
I love each video you give us. Its all entertainment
Even when u go to Disney- related. I watch your videos for fun and enjoy them no matter where you go ❤
Oh my God you’re in my backyard! If you get a chance definitely come to Boulder City Nevada. I would love to take you kayaking and tell you the history of the river gauges on the Colorado river as well as visit some beautiful spots like Hot Springs and caves 💚
Have you been up to Cerro Gordo where that young man has bought this ghost town and is building a hotel( original burned down)...he just put out his ' Ghost Town Living " book....he's way up in the Sierras...pretty cool!
Nice to see you guys in my area of the SW. I came here in 1975, it's the Real old West! There used to be a coffee house in town owned by Kelly Garni, the bassist for Quiet Riot. But it's still a historic place to visit. Thanks guys.
Looks like a great place to explore thanks
George ! 🏒 Tyler ! 👍🏻...Don’t get to see you guys enough ...
Thats the job my dad had growing up. He was a type setter in our family business called Primbs Printing in Pocatello.
Weird seeing a Arisaka Rifle on display.
Adam the Woo sighting on the wall at 38:45 😂
Nice 😂
The best
Excellent job and presentation 😁😢😮😮😅
there are not enough words in the English language to describe how I now so genuinely badly want a Justin Scarred and Peter Jackson collab
Been there a couple of times, keep going North, then East where the road used to be red, and maybe 20 miles before Caliente go South by the power lines to Delamar.
So here for Randomland Friends Road Trips!
Justin-have you done Randsburg, CA, yet?
Bro, the visitor at the end!
I new it wasn't real, but still kinda freaked me out like I was a little girl all over again!!! 👽🫣😶🌫️
@@karenleemallonee684 it freaked me out a bit too. Wasn’t expecting that at all.
Actually did some research to make this video. Good on ya! You can some of this same stuff if you visit Victor, CO. It's another old mining town.
I've been through Pioche a few times and had a pretty good lunch in the Silver Cafe.
I grew up here, LOLOL!! My 6th grade class was the last class to graduate from the original elementary school and I spent my Friday nights going to a movie at the Gem. I have roots there dating back to the beginning..Thanks for sharing this. Laughed my ass off remembering all the shenanigans I got into as a kid roaming the main street. I would love to pour in a ton of money to revive the tourism before it's a dead town.
If you are looking for towns that time forgot...drive around Wyoming. It is all we really have here. Many of our towns, whether technically ghost towns or technically inhabited, are all but abandoned and cell service and internte may never arrive.
I had an ex who would always say “Wyoming and guns” as our supposed SHTF plan… he left me for a single mom from his hometown 🤷♀️
@@cecilyerker Sorry to hear that. Lots of people are jerks. I'm not sure this is where I would want to be in a SHTF scenario...but then my entire friend group is queer.
Pretty cool place. Nice rental.
I actually know the person who runs Tilly's and they are really nice!
It’s a linotype printing machine!
Back not so long ago...and maybe still in some places Elementary schools were 1st-8th grades...so the 4-room building was separated..1st & 2nd grades ..etc.
Where’s the hang man’s noose?
lol. Years ago I drove the loneliest highway (from my home in Oregon ) to purchase a young filly (horse) that was bred the way I liked at the time. I named the little mare Tillie just like the little shop on Main Street. What a coincidence huh?! The horse turned out to be a dud. She was extremely quirky and not as talented as I was hoping however the trip was an interesting one. First and only time to Pioche ……. Makes me want to return and visit this cute little town with fresh eyes;). This time no horse !! 😅
You guys Crack me up.😅
My family settled here
Yass Sir Peter !!
You want to see a central NV gold ghost town with about 250 residents, much smaller than pioche, we don't even have a gas station here and Jacob the carpet bagger has been here come to Goldfield NV. We are truly a living ghost town in West central NV. Just 27 miles south of the creepy clown motel in Tonapah NV
Remember the ones you had to put in letter by letter until you had a whole word? Asks Justin Scarred of "Fake" Tyler, who replies "No, I 'm not THAT old !!!! In front of the printing press n linotype machine. Hilarious!!!!
Hey, Justin I have a question if I ever go to the US Wanna head down to rancho la bera With me we can visit the tarpits museum That would make for a pretty cool random land episode Especially?
For some of your paleo enthusiast viewers 😊
I love Pioche but somebody dug a four foot ditch in a local pond and while riding dirt bikes my brother fell in and we popped a tire and almost killed my brother
“Beautiful nothing”. Honestly the best way to describe it 🤘
Wanna ride a true mine zip line?
Goldfield Arizona
You should hit up silver city new Mexico when you get the chance, it was the home of Billy the kid, between the city of slver city and the mountains just above it pinos Altos mountains you would love all the ghost city vibes.
Before the 318 shortcut it was part of main hwy 93
Suprised theres not a biker gang operating out this town its a perfect spot.
"18-diggadees" I loled.
Mable, What gave you the idea you could weave with tumbleweeds?
U need to try out Ghost town living near Death valley
Carro gordo
Amazing how you see how these people lived back in the day, this young generation today would have never survived, all they do is whine and complain today about everything
If your battery drains from being completely full to dead that is a sign of a ghost and being watch!
Hello everyone! 👍👍
👻👻👻
👏👏👏 🥰
Hello!
Did they mention the people getting getting exposed by the bomb tests the downwinders
I wonder what the hotel looks like inside?
I hope you go/went a little further north 🙃
Did Justin and Allie break up? I never see her in Justin's videos anymore and I don't see Ally post pics of Justin and her on Instagram anymore just wondering..
I sure hope not. They're a cute couple!
@@jamalsimmons4025 me too!
March 9th she was helping him sell his tiki carvings at a booth so I'd say no they didn't break up
Are all of y'all mic'd since even when George is several feet from you he sounds clear and like he's standing right beside you?
how is allie doing?
🤷 Actually the newspaper was just missing a chunk....It was missing the coupon that you needed to redeem to potentially get the reward....🤪😂
The burger action didn't look to happening in that establishment
I fell into the pit... 🎶
Oh the debt? Well we will never pay off the national debt!
Amen brother
How is Allie? I hope she’s okay…
Ok, Justin, you haven’t explored Cerro Gordo Ghost town yet, in your way, yet. Why not?
Coffee taste like it’s 100 💯 years old?
The Ducks won, let it be known.
Ah a place with no citizenship my kind of place
lol my boyfriend works at Walmart in Carson city he’s a coach
There’s a lot of history in Pioche, I wish you would’ve done some research or taken along an expert to tell the history. Could’ve been a good video then.
Get your drone out!
I refuse to use AirBNB. In so many places people have no home because of AirBNB
Why?
Is WonderHussey in there 🤗
The name Pioche is pronounced Pi'o' chee!
I'm Navajo and a lot of Navajos have the last name Pi'o' chee!
Not Pea oach 😅
WRONG!- the town is named after a Frenchman Francois Pioche (pronounced Pea-osh in French)an investor and developer who founded and had the town laid out. We that live here (or are well familiar with the town) KNOW it is Pea oach!
I would love to see you visit & connect with some Native tribes to learn about what places like this looked and operated like before they were taken over by the criminal murderers lol. Sounds like it was probably more “civilized” before it turned into this town.
Glad you stopped making videos about woke Disney. The road trip ones are the BEST!
Video is cool but the narration is irritating. Had to turn it off.
