At least from my perspective, lying about the cheats is worse than using them. I don't care if someone in the run or discord chat is using a client, but I do care if they aren't upfront about it. If you're not confident in your game play, whatever. It's a game, play it to enjoy it. But don't lie about what you're doing. That kid has a long way to go before he's ready to participate in good runs.
@that nigga Uh... Lots of people download clients. Even people who don't intend to use even a single hack or cheat. Why? Lag. The game lags so much less on "Hacked" clients. Not to mention that pretty much any site that hosts game clients has in depth Anti-Malware checks before a client can even be posted, in-person admin checks and confirmation.... And hopefully you have anti-virus on your end, too. So no, it's safe. I don't use clients for RotMG myself, I don't lag much, but I have had plenty of guildies, streamer friends, etc, that all needed clients to even get frames in RotMG. It has nothing to do with skill. RotMG is one of the laggiest and least optimized MMOs in browser gaming history.

I don't use clients for RotMG myself, I don't lag much, but I have had plenty of guildies, streamer friends, etc, that all needed clients to even get frames in RotMG. It has nothing to do with skill. RotMG is one of the laggiest and least optimized MMOs in browser gaming history.
