The audio is amazing in video idk what changed but you sound 100/100
There is also a trick where you can shoot 1 shot, wait for like half a second and you can shoot a burst of 9
One thing to note is that the staves with unique shot pattern really mess with your aiming during inspired buff. Take spirit staff and the S.T.A.F.F for example. When the buff is active the shots have much longer length to cover for one cycle. This causes you to keep shifting your position.
The intro is always legendary
Next unique weapons i hope to see: 1.) Charge bow, you can either tap click to shoot really fast, or charge to do big damage shot that pierces. Maybe multiple bullets on the tap, and the players fire rate would modify the time it takes to charge. 2.) Beam wand that has a burst delay as well, but shoots a beam that does small damage, hits many times, and the last hit curses the enemy, making it good for things that stand still or travels in a straight line. 3.) Something that has shots that bounces between targets, meant for clearing large groups of enemies, kinda like chain in PoE or similar mechanics. This would probably be a staff, or maybe a dagger? Wouldnt make much sense for a sword though sadly. 4.) Shots that spawn at the max range and fly in towards the player on a sword, maybe dealing more damage the longer they are alive (ie the closer they are to the player).
These are jsut some things off the top of my head. What other ideas yall got?
I had a chance to try this staff out on PT, yet..... I didn't feel it's potential. It may just me being bad, but I felt like having this "unconsistent" damage isn't that good of a tradeoff for more damage. It's basically like being a shotgun, but not that innacurate. At least this video showed me some potentails and usages, and I'm glad you made this video, cause now seeing it, I may get it for my 3/8 Necro :)

I’m not sure about the bow or quiver, but I know the ring can do some insane damage if you sit on enemies while invulnerable! Would make for a fun video.

I want to break this down:
berserk will still make a difference, just not one that improves the weapon's DPS as much compared to weapons that do not have this 1 second buffer. I did the timing work for wizard since dex cap is 75, the buffer starting from 1st burst to the 2nd burst on wizzy is about 0.91 seconds or so (lets just say 1), let me clarify this is NOT the time between after 1st burst and beginning of 2nd, but the time between start of 1st burst to start of 2nd. The time of the bursts themselves with wizard is about 0.35 seconds (lets just say 0.4), again let me clarify this is the time it takes from first shot of burst to last shot of the burst. So if we use this as an equation as buffer being 1 second and burst speed 0.4, the time it would take for 5 bursts with wizard would be 5 seconds plus 3.6 seconds for the actual time it takes to burst totaling 8.6 seconds for each 5 bursts. With berserk, the difference would not be noticeable due to the fact that only the burst time would be changed, not the buffer. Buffer would remain at 1 second while burst would lower to let's say 0.3 seconds. Then, the time it takes for 5 bursts would total to 7.7 seconds. 7.7 and 8.6 are almost 1 buffer time apart, meaning the longer berserk stays on, the more bursts you will get, but only as significant as 1 extra burst or 2 if you do a maximum dex gear loadout with wizard. Still not worth, but better than NO improvement at all. Just wanted to say this because I went on dps calculator and the graph doesn't change when dex is changed, although in the weapon test tab, you can notice with higher dex the bursts are finished quicker, with the same buffer as I said. About time. And yes uts should always be designed as powerful swapouts which should never completely replace tiered tops.
i think dexterity affects the actual burst shot speed, meaning that more dexterity crams in the shots more in the burst, meaning that dexterity has reduced efectiveness, not no efectiveness at all
Pro tip for those who cant hit many shots when holding M1, try clicking slowly to constantly shoot atleast one pair of projectiles, its easier but less satisfying

The best intro
You're supposed to fire a string of shot from a burst weapon and then switch to a normal one, what I do is change my #8 inv slot hotkey to Alt, put the t14 staff to #8 inv slot and then keep pressing Alt to do dmg without worrying about the long burst delay.
Does having a faster output of the 5 burst reach the delay faster?
How did you even figure out swapping weapon to conpensate for S.T.A.F.F missing dps per sec. That's 1000iq pro gamer move right their.

You showed how the delay scales with dex when you compared the 60 vs 84 dex at the end btw it seems the delay is scaled with dex by the delay being started at the start of the projectiles leaving your character and ending when the last projectile of the pattern is fired. Thats just observing it though havent gotten this item myself yet so cant test but the delay is definitely there just it isnt on the part of the sequence you were looking at it for.
I meddled around a bit, the delay begins at the start of the first projectile of the burst, so the 1 second timer begins on the first shot

Also this staffs dps would go up as you would shoot the 5 shots faster so the cool down would trigger faster. Sure there is a delay BUT the shots between the delays can be shot faster henceforth berserk does buff it

@@HyeperionGaming whoops I worded it wrong. I mean you would shoot the 5 shots faster. So you stilll have normal cool down but you’d be practically instantly shooting the 5 triggering cool down. So the time between cool downs is less therefore making its DPS go up. I can’t explain things well and if we meet in game and someone has staff I can show you
@@matthewharris3808 the time between the delay never decreases below 1sec because of the cap, so no matter how much DEX you have along with berserk, your DPS will still remain the same at max DEX or past that. You'll just be able to shoot the five shots faster yet still have to wait to shoot again.

u said its dmg is easy to calculate because its 7k dps? then u cut that in HALF for the 1s delay, which is 7000dmg 1 second, 0 dmg 1 sceond. therefore 3500
that is assuming the initial burst takes 1 second to shoot that is, if its lower or higher it will fluctuate the rate

I hope that they do two things to this staff
#1 nerf it. Im garbage at this game and could do HTT first try, its not a hard dungeon, so unless its drop rate is SUPER low, it doesnt deserve best dps in game (even if only solo).
#2 to make it so its not garbage make the burst rate .4~ seconds, so that dex scales with it to 90~ dex
that being said, I love this weapon as it is, if it stays this way, ill still be happy with it

It doesn't need a nerf, it's accuracy is trash. It does have good dps vs non-moving targets.
