I love the info. However, I REALLY LOVE that you chose no choice during; so polite to others using the same space! I wish more people in the USA were so polite...
These capsules wouldn't work in America. They would be destroyed. Many people aren't respectful to properties here. Cleanliness in most huge cities here are near to impossible! It's a sad reality, unfortunately!!!
Yeah it’s unfortunate. I think they might work but there would have to be a lot of changes made. And lots of security which would probably drive up the price.

I like these videos. No blah blah blah…… very informative and quiet. Thank you for your presentation. Makes me wanna visit. The prices are insanely reasonable.
I like that fact that if you were an individual traveler you could stay for awhile in a place like this and it would not cost alot of money. My Uncle worked for Minolta Corp for 8 years in Japan and I have always been curious to visit as a tourist.
Honestly, I'm taking notes about capsule hotels because I want to build small cozy resting spaces like this in my own home. One doesn't need a huge bedroom to sleep well, but a comfy bed, clean and fluffly sheets and pillow, good ventilation and enough storage space for clothes and bed coverings. The only spaces I want to be/feel "wide" in my home are places people will constantly be walking about while doing tasks or entertaining themselves/talking to each other, such as the kitchen and the garden. Even the living can be just a small very cozy corner annexed to the kitchen, since most people end up just sitting down. It doesn't need to be huge.
Your channel is amazing I have come to admire Japan and the Japanese. How clean you keep the streets and respect public property. I wish they had this kind of thinking in every city in the world.
This capsule hotel is far superior to the others that I've seen on TH-cam! However, I noticed there was little instructions in English for non Japanese speakers. I Loved to try it.
I'm impressed by the speakers attached to the recliners! I was also very surprised the hotel didn't offer you any slippers since you were walking around barefoot.
I watch a number of channels from Japan and yours is the first that to me is original. I've seen many others staying at the same hotels, eating at the same restaurants, but yours is unique. I always save the video for my reference when I go to Japan, providing my Son still takes me because heavens knows I can't afford to pay for a trip. Many thanks!
I can't believe only *30* is considered expensive for a capsule hotel. Capsule hotels in America range from 75$ to 240$ - and that's just between the few in NYC. Thank you for the great video :) this is definitely convincing me to visit.
Loved your video on the capsule hotels. I'm in my early 60's now but i still would love to stay in one of those capsule hotels, it looks very comfortable. For me as long as i can lay my head down and fall asleep that's all i need, I would be spending most of my time out and about the Japanese country. all i would need is somewhere to store my luggage while moving about the City. Keep up with the quality videos you have shown us.
This is such a great idea. I wished we had these inexpensive accommodations. Might even help solve the homeless problem in the United States. Think about it. A person’s basic needs met for approximately $30-$50 a night in the United States. I would consider that a real bargain.
So true, imagine a place to stay in a large city with great amenities for only 900 to 1500 per month. I'm older now and have a home, but something like this would have been perfect when I lived in Chicago in my early 20s. Book it for 6 months straight if you like it, if not keep looking until you find the one that suits you. Something like this could solve housing affordability issue in the US provided people respected the property and each other
Love your channel. It makes me want to visit Japan. I’d love to see a video of how many people are working to keep these capsule hotels and other establishments as clean as depicted In your videos. It just seems like there is hardly anyone working those places, yet, they seem Immaculate.
The one I stayed at seemed to be 3-7 (including cleaning and maintenance)staff working there, mainly at the front desk, they looked really stressed and busy with lots of stuff tho.

It feels like a weird mix of youth hostel, some sort of asylum ( especially with the wristbands and clothing), the stereotype of a lonely gas station at night but still cozy little caves for you to relax and some great amenities. There’s nothing even close to that here in Germany. That’s a more luxury one, but the last one I’ve seen was perfectly fitting my description. A little more run down with less glamour but still good to use. And they got alcohol after 5 PM, didn’t see that here. Looking forward to more amazing videos. 😊👍🏼
Hello from Finland where the Sauna comes from. That sauna was really nice and it looks a Finnish sauna. Love this tour. So helpful for us to know how to navigate if we weren’t used to this type of accommodations. Does the privacy screen lock on the capsule? You had maybe left your backpack and laptop when you went out to eat, is it because you feel safe sleeping in a hotel that you cannot enter without the bracelet? Thanks 😊
