Looks like a great gun! I just wish FX would sell us the parts we need for the rifles we already have...like slug liners. "New shipments every 2 weeks" and 37 days later still not fulfilled my order.
FX definitely breaks boundaries. Thier very innovative! The price point is not for me though lol. I know its dumb to compare but i have a howa mini action on a bravo chassis 6.5G that shoots buttholes at 500 yards no issues and it costed me under 1000$ to build with an arken ep5. Im definitely big into airguns but some of the prices are just absurd. Not for me . Cool video my dude !
Justin, I am reaching out to you and Matt to tell Fx to whip up a batch of Fx style crosman 1377 & 1322 pump guns. We NEED that, too. Variable pump "regulated " stx .177 & .22cal. Interchangeable 10, 14.5, 18, 24" barrels, high quality parts, two stage trigger, 1/2" unf suppressor threads, and scope mounts. I have 2g's one thousand each 1377/1322 sub carbine. We need this no air tank, no shot count, pellet plinker. Crosman has sold thousands for years. Quite, accurate, modular, compact, light. You have the power we need this. Thank you Justin, your great. We can not get too far away from what got us here. Fun moderately safe, easy to function target shooters. Unless we already have a lifestyle tailored long range and loud. Precision 15-30yrd, inside a townhouse, empty office, back yard don't have many options. Everything is too big, too powerful, too loud. If I could send a pic of my little crosman build into/a Fx " as close as possible " you would be on board. Most pictures on line are not built by or for a serious shooters. Even at close range. Don't forget the Olympics have 15m 500-700fps shooting.
The tank is way too small, they need a way to figure out to get a bigger tank on that thing. If I put $3,000 in a 22. I just have to feed ammo. And not worry about is my air tank going to run out. Or have less power. I love the gun it's beautiful, I think it has great potential. But until they get the air tank issue somehow updated it's just not for me
100cc plenum impacts have been custom made for years. Hey fx just make a100+cc plenum impact with the block and hammer etc stock. Come on already. This has a tiny advantage(?) for a very small market. A guy in spain Tom Ramos (on youtue)made a 156 fpe impact .30 mk2 about 3 years ago. Is the claim that this could make shots an impact can't?
I know this is intended for competition but would love to use this for hunting as well when having to snipe ground squirrels at 150-200 yards and hope to see someone do it
With that newer valve you can really hear how short the shot cycle is now , this is going to be a game changer with shooting slugs . Excellent job out there shooting in the cold .

Makes me wonder if I'd be able to get longer plenums on shorter barrels- I really like the 600mm barrel length, but would like a longer plenum for a touch more usable power, than the 500mm barrel length...
It was worth it to move the bottle to the rear and leave the front profile of the rifle as slim as possible. We have been super pleased with the 300 bar Airmarksman bottle performance!

FX is my brand of choice, but I'm NOT a fan of having 3600+ lbs of pressure under my face, as this gun, AirForce and Edgun do. I may just be crazy or paranoid, but it makes me nervous. Not that a bottle blowing up (God forbid) in front would be any better, it's just a thought.

I have always advocated mounting the scope as low as possible to reduce rise between zero points. It makes quick shots at game easier with less hold over/under compensation.

Purpose built gun, which is cool. But how about demonstrating what it can do when used for it's purpose? Everyone is excited about shooting slugs and many reviews now feature the rifles shooting slugs. But almost all, if not all, of the big bench rest competitions require shooting pellets; slugs are not allowed. Given the hugely different ballistic characteristics of slugs vs pellets, it is not unusual for a rifle that shoots one accurately to be a poor performer with the other. All shooters know that the barrels that are purpose designed are different for slugs vs pellets. Wonder if this rifle will be offered with a pellet barrel or if this prototype already has a pellet barrel (usually a much lower twist ratio). If that is a pellet barrel shooting slugs that accurately I would love to see what a slug barrel would do. But I suspect that is a slug barrel so I guess we will probably have to wait for a test with pellets to see what it can really do in a bench rest competition.
If you want to shoot pellets get the 500mm version, or better yet, any other FX airgun. This is designed purely for slug shooting and PRS/NRL22 matches in particular.
We see your point for sure! The priority for this gun would be to compete in NRL matches similar to the Precision Rifle Course at this last RMAC. It will be interesting to see what they can do with pellets, but FX has a number of different options that are awesome for shooting pellets. Not sure if this will be it or not, but it wasn't necessarily this guns focus
@@UtahAirguns May be the possibility of making it compact with 380mm barrel with Hawke flash light grip and top off with sightmark m-spec red dot or 500mm carbon barrel with hamster like in FX Dreamline AeronCZ. I love that CZ is tack driving off hand machine. Thanks J.
Look at the size of it! Doesn’t seem like a hunting gun at all. Get a compact m3. The bottle on this also seems a lot smaller. (I have an m3 that I love)

Justin, you need to get a small Diesel heater to blow hot air on you shooting position. It will keep your hands and toes toasty warm. 1 gal of fuel will last about eight hours.
If you run out of air or slugs you could always use it as a snooker cue!. I have only just got used to the look of the Impact. I think the Chinese Artemis guns were doing things like this a long time ago?. And its funny how Daystate seem to be followng what FX do, how times change!

I noticed that you have a Nightforce on this Gun and I don't see any comments on this. I have seen you use Nightforce in the past, but have never seen anybody else go with Nightforce for Airguns. Do you prefer these over the typical Airgun Scopes?, like Element or Hawke?.
In most cases you'll use 10-12 shots a stage. This rifle was built to shoot those stages so it'll get the job done for sure! You can also check out the Airmarksman 300 bar bottle for more shots!

As of the current setup no.. maybe they will have something down the road but the barrel on the panthera is extremely rigid!
This is the most precise review of the Panthera 700mm I've seen so far. Nothing was left out.
