Anybody is welcome to help me understand the differences between the units. Thanks in advance.😎
Hi , thx for the tip 👌 I might put a piece of carpet underneath 😉 In order to answer your question what is the difference between a Impact and a Panthera , I would like to ask you if you have any experience with airguns and if this will be you very first one ?
Where did you get your barrel/insert? I contacted my local FX dealer to make an inquiry to convert my 25cal Panthera to a 22 cal and they stated there are no barrel conversion kits.
So do I understand that you can change barrel lengths of the same caliber on the panthera only? Or are you able to change barrels as well as calibers also? Just asking as in looking at ordering one it says that only an authorized dealer should do that. Great video. I am a subscriber and have gotten a lot out of your videos.
@kirbysands3197 That is initially correct as the way to do it is a little more complicated then on a impact for instance as the plenum is around the barrel . So only do it when you feel comfortable doing this procedure
I saw that you had an electronic pressure gauge for your regulator pressure. I had wanted to install one on my Panthera but could not get it off. Are they gluing them in now. If so how did you get yours to come off. As always you make the best videos.
Yes they are glued in place I am afraid not with much glue but enough to make them come off not so easy 😬 I slide the black cover off and use a socket wrench
Where can I get the barrel conversion kit? How much is it? Is it safe/recomended to change the barrel kit multiple times (back and forth between lenghts)? Id like the 700 mm barrel for competition and sometimes the 300 mm for backpacking hunting
You should be able to ask your local FX dealer to order it , don’t have a part number. Changing the barrel frequently isn’t a issue as long as you do it carefully. With the impact the barrel doesn’t have any sealing parts unlike the Panthera . So if you take care when replacing the barrel and keep the orings in good condition you will be fine 👍
There are no specific kits available as there are so many options possible. So that’s why I made the video to mix and match what you need . Every FX dealer can order these parts
Hi man. How are you . Can I use bottle adapter of fx impact MKII to convert my fx panthera to hunter ? Fx panthera accept the bottle of fx impact m3 or bottle of fx impact mkll???
My compact rail came with two tiny black bearings or balls. Any idea what they are for ? Also i see FX has a smaller 170 cc cylinder, would that fit under the front rail?
There are no balls needed for the compact rail as far as I know 🤔 Regarding the 170cc bottle take a look at this video I made around minute 16:50 . Just remember the 170cc bottle is only allowed to be filled to 230bar th-cam.com/video/dJPrTt4SfDY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BYMMkgqQSddQZrfI
Might be a tough question to answer but I have a 600 mm 22 caliber FX panthera. In terms of slugs the recommended grain is 30 grain to 33 grain with a 600 mm barrel. You can shoot 40 grain slugs with a 700 mm Barrel but unfortunately it's too long for me. If I switched to 25 caliber liner with my 600 Barrel, would the 600 mm 25 caliber 40 grain slug have more energy/FPE than a 700 mm barrel 22 caliber 40 grains slug at all distances?
I would opt for a 600mm 22cal with 33-34 gr slugs @1005fps . I usually shoot all my competitions with a 700mm at those settings but it will work out of a 600mm aswel . The 25cal in slugs is notoriously difficult to tune and get right . 22 is way easier. The 40gr in 22 is possible but it puts to much stress on the system and doesn’t feel smooth to shoot . Remaining energy is something you need to calculate as it is velocity dependent
. Very complicated stuff. Once you think you understand barrel lengths and slug grains you realize you don't understand it all. Does the 25 and 30 caliber in all Barrel sizes make it more difficult to tune or just 600 mm? Why is that? But if you're a hunter and you want to shoot a larger game you would need to shoot a 25 caliber to a 30 caliber slug correct?
You forgot one screw on that barricade at the end of the assembly, the one that is horizontal. It's very important since it is what makes the barricade acts as a reinforcement by securing the guard rail to the body of the panthera.
@@Airbuks ok dank je! 👌 I'm really on the fence of reselling my Wildcat BT Compact and get me a Panthera. Seems way more versatile to me with all the possible configs and how easy it actually is to change it.
@@Airbuks am i correct to assume that if tuned well and with a proper moderator this 300mm pellet liner will be quieter than, say, an 800mm M3 with slug hammer etc... ? My M2 sniper for .22 slugs and my slug-configed Wildcat BT are really too noisy for my use case. It's the hammer really that's too noisy for me and the impact on a pigeon is a little loud as well to be honest. 🙈
@@thierry-leadwayin my experience the noise is mostly related to the power level you tuned your rifle at. I have a 700mm .22 impact, I shoot fx 18gr pellets at 870fps with the 2nd reg at 75 bar😛 it’s so quiet, I can just plink in my back garden and the pigeons that are pecking clovers in my garden don’t even fly away 😂 concerning the wildcat, the action of that rifle is right at your ear when you’re looking through the scope, that bugs me too, I’m shooting low power levels but it’s still loud in my ear…
@@thierry-leadwayif you’re in east-flanders somewhere I’d be happy to pop some pigeons with you by the way😛 I’ve always wanted to try but no discrete location at my disposal:)
Yes it will fit the Dynamic aswel , it’s the same rifle . You need matching parts as the plenum sized on different barrels lengths are different in combination with the shroud etc . They aren’t regular available yet but you should be able to order it true your FX dealer
Would you please produce a Panthera stripdown video as I have always followed your vids on M3 strip down. I would like to change the valve pin and add a tungsten hammer to my Panthera - thanks
I might do that soon but have some other videos to make first 😉 but one tip , do not install the tungsten hammer in the Panthera unless you have a very good or specific reason for it . What caliber and weight projectile you want to shoot
@@Airbuks thanks for the tip, I am also installing an up rated valve pin, needed to compliment the tungsten hammer, please keep producing your excellent vids, I learnt a lot about the M3 from your videos
That’s a difficult choice 😉 I think it’s more a personal opinion. The only advantage is that the impact has more aftermarket parts and one more tuning option ( which can also complicate stuff 😉 ) on the other side the Panthera can make more power
Very well done! The only omission I see is that the short barrel cuts the Velocity/Power to less than half of the 700. I shoot the H&N 40gr slugs at 980fps, and this would reduce the power level to a BB gun.
I can easily shoot 18gr pellets at 890 fps with 125bar on the regulator, so it has more then power enough. It’s also never meant to be a slug shooter with this 300mm barrel . Mostly for pesting with pellets
I have the Leshiy 2 with 350mm barrel in .30 and it shoots the ZAN 49 grainers at 900 fps with ease. Yes a shorter barrel decreases the speed, but with the shorter plenum you can up the reg pressure so you get max acceleration via a short dump of the plenum.
@@Airbuks Hi my friend, we had contact via e-mail a few months ago (John). I have one L2 with 350 mm barrel and two 0.2 jets. Raptor reg set at 170 bar. My other L2 .30 has the FX 600mm barrel, two 0.1 jets, raptor set to 195 bar (pushing it hard hahaha) It shoots ZAN 49 grain at 1020 fps. I'm debating with Matias and francisco about ditching the plenum and external reg and fit the Edgun HP POWER PLENUM for the leshiy 2 with the internal regulator. I think it can shoot faster with less regulator pressure. I have the feeling that this larger plenum will fit the 600mm barrel more because it can dump air longer before the slug leaves the barrel yet with 170 bar pressure (I hope) The point is that when it fails, I lost about 400 Euros . . . I hope we can figure something out.
I am in the process of trading my maverick .30 for this in .30 with the ar style folding stock and 480 cc bottle will all this work the same on the .30 model

Anybody is welcome to help me understand the differences between the units. Thanks
in advance.😎
Hi , thx for the tip 👌 I might put a piece of carpet underneath 😉
In order to answer your question what is the difference between a Impact and a Panthera , I would like to ask you if you have any experience with airguns and if this will be you very first one ?
Where did you get your barrel/insert? I contacted my local FX dealer to make an inquiry to convert my 25cal Panthera to a 22 cal and they stated there are no barrel conversion kits.
There are as of yet no conversion kits available but your local dealer should be able to order the parts needed for the conversion
Do you have the part numbers you could share, from when the parts were ordered
Nice one👍🏻👍🏻
Thx
Very well done Thanks
So do I understand that you can change barrel lengths of the same caliber on the panthera only? Or are you able to change barrels as well as calibers also? Just asking as in looking at ordering one it says that only an authorized dealer should do that. Great video. I am a subscriber and have gotten a lot out of your videos.
Hi , you can change barrel length and caliber 👌
@Airbuks thank you for the clarification. When I look at the description it says that u need to have a dealer change calibers, so thank you.
@kirbysands3197 That is initially correct as the way to do it is a little more complicated then on a impact for instance as the plenum is around the barrel . So only do it when you feel comfortable doing this procedure
@@Airbuks thanks. Great advice.
Question I know that you gave us the part numbers but where do we find the caliber change kits and different barrel sizes tu Del
There are no specific kits available as there are so many options possible. So that’s why I made the video to mix and match what you need . Every FX dealer can order these parts
How is the trigger on this small Panthera?
Can you compare it with the Dreamline/Crown?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings Lari.
The trigger is great just like any Fx trigger that doesn’t use the linkage like the Wildcat and Maverick although these are also still oke
Hi man.
How are you .
Can I use bottle adapter of fx impact MKII to convert my fx panthera to hunter ?
Fx panthera accept the bottle of fx impact m3 or bottle of fx impact mkll???
No , the adapter is specific for the front of the Panthera, threads are different
Nice one. Will it affect the ftlbs? Ie put it over 12 ft?
I don’t have any experience with sub12 and only shoot FAC
My compact rail came with two tiny black bearings or balls. Any idea what they are for ?
Also i see FX has a smaller 170 cc cylinder, would that fit under the front rail?
There are no balls needed for the compact rail as far as I know 🤔
Regarding the 170cc bottle take a look at this video I made around minute 16:50 . Just remember the 170cc bottle is only allowed to be filled to 230bar

@Airbuks okay I thought about it I think I'll experiment with the 33 grain and 34 grain as opposed to buying a new 25 Cal liner.
Thanks for the work, do you know if there is any difference in the blocks of the Pantera and the Dynamic, if so, which ones they are, thanks
No difference, exactly the same block 👍
Was wondering where we could get the kits at.
You should be able to order it from your local FX dealer , they can order it from factory
Sweet
nice work!
Thx 👊
You forgot one screw on that barricade at the end of the assembly, the one that is horizontal. It's very important since it is what makes the barricade acts as a reinforcement by securing the guard rail to the body of the panthera.
great video
Thx 👊
Knappe video! Question: does the 300mm exist for slugs? I thought that was the only barrel length which is actually only available for pellets, no?
Ja idd de kortere lopen zijn met pellet liners , maar je kan er heus wel lichte slugs zoals 21gr in .22 mee schieten
Will this work for the 600 dynamic?
22. So I would need barrel kit, plenum? And arca rail? Part numbers please?
Yes it will fit the Dynamic aswel , it’s the same rifle . You need matching parts as the plenum sized on different barrels lengths are different in combination with the shroud etc .
They aren’t regular available yet but you should be able to order it true your FX dealer
They are messing with for sure due to the content. You are not the only one
Yeah it sucks , the last 2 months I really notice it that I get shadow proofed 😡
I'd like to buy a Panthera Hunter 25 with larger plenum and convert to 22 cal. Unfortunately, UAG said caliber change kits are not available.
Yes they are , check one of my latest videos on the FX TH-cam channel
Can you shoot slugs with that barrel? Seems like the 500mm and smaller are only pellet shooters.
Yes the liner inside is a pellet liner but you should be able to shoot some lite slugs like 21gr in 22cal
Good video keep them coming
Thx 👊
I definitely do this one.
👊
I'm assuming 300mm is probably ideal for 50 yards and okayisch till 100 yards, correct?
Yes correct, I see it more as a max 75 meter accurate and oké at 100
Would you please produce a Panthera stripdown video as I have always followed your vids on M3 strip down.
25 cal 60 grain slugs
Can you guys make a video on how to install the foldable stock?
I don’t have a folding adapter 🤔 and in the compact version I am afraid it will make it illegal in my country
who do I order the barrels from? I got the dynamic express 600 because all the hunter compacts were sold out
So nice!
Thx
Where can I buy complete barrel kits? I want to change up to 800mm and 7.62
There is no 800mm for the dynamic block max 700mm . You can order the barrel kits from your local FX dealer
Love ya know how. Top stuff.
Thx
where did you get your parts for the conversion?
You can order them from your FX dealer 😉 I have made a video for the FX TH-cam channel showing all the parts and corresponding part numbers 🤙
Wait how do you get the Barrel kit I thought you had to send it in?
No , I have my ways to get parts 😉
Can you please tell me how much these costs. Please with the two bottles and the short barrel two
This you have to check with your local FX dealer
Where can you buy the conversion kits because I’ve been looking online cannot find them
They will be available soon I think , but you might want to ask your local FX dealer to get you one
Are there FX Pantera barrel kits available at this time?
Do you have the part number for the eagle vision scope mounts
Can I change calibers on my Compact Hunter? Now it.22 and I also want .177
Torn between the 2 rifles panthera compact hunter or m3 impact compact?
That’s a difficult choice 😉 I think it’s more a personal opinion. The only advantage is that the impact has more aftermarket parts and one more tuning option ( which can also complicate stuff 😉 ) on the other side the Panthera can make more power
good job..
Thanks
@@jbhk7977 I have a Leshiy aswel in 30cal running the reg at 155bar to shoot 50gr at 850fps .
What jets and reg pressure do you use ?
Whats the max the FX regulator can be set at? Thought i saw 170 somewhere.
I am in the process of trading my maverick .30 for this in .30 with the ar style folding stock and 480 cc bottle
will all this work the same on the .30 model
Yes it wil work exactly the same 👍
