- I revisit the excellent Song of Blades and Heroes miniatures skirmish game by Ganesha Games.
This battle is interlopers into the desert looking for the entrance to an ancient delve vs. the scales folk who call this desert home.
My knowledge of the skills was a little rusty, but I still had a good time.

I picked up the Advanced Song of Blades & Heroes (2016) a few years back, and it's become one of my absolute favorite fantasy skirmish games. It's a great 'gateway drug' to teach new people how to play miniatures games. It's flexible, is easy to learn, and most important, is miniatures agnostic.
There's also a fabulous, easy-to-use warband builder online. I've used it to created dozens of different warbands. Song of Blades & Heroes is a great way to dust off your miniatures collection(s) and get them on the table.
I also have ASoBH. But I found I prefer the more streamlined rules of SoBH. But both are excellent games which also serve as excellent gateways to the wargaming hobby!
I also find that it's the best game to start wargaming. The version with Arthur and Merlin is also very, very good. Thanks for the video, great game !
I have the Arthur and Merlin version as well, but never tried it out.

Great video! One of my favorite indie miniature games! Units can only attack once per activation (unless they have a special rule) but they can move all their activations if they want.

I have Sellswords and Spellslingers. Haven’t gotten it to the table yet. I love this game!!

I have those but just prefer to play the game straight, against myself. I find the activation system makes solo play unpredictable and fun.

What scale minis are those? What brand?
They are 25mm and are Wizards of the Coast pre painted D&D minis. One of them is one of the Gale Force Nine line of pre painted minis licensed by WotC for 5E.
