- Hurricane Beryl continues its path over the western Caribbean Sea, heading west-northwest. On its course, it will directly affect Jamaica, the Yucatán Peninsula, and Belize. Indirect effects are possible in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti.
In the long term, once it reaches the Gulf of Mexico, it could pose a threat to Texas, Tamaulipas, or Veracruz.
What I find very unsettling about this storm is that such a large and powerful storm has formed so early in the season. This hurricane season is looking like it might be one of the worse ever. If this trend continues, in a decade or so catastrophic hurricane seasons might become the norm.
Not “Gran Cayman Islands” it is Grand Cayman, one of the Cayman Islands. Or you can just say Cayman Islands
Some of your info is incorrect .
When Hurricane Beryl passed Barbados & the other islands it was a Category 4 Hurricane.
It's like driving at 140 mph on a lonely highway (open sea) and running out of fuel. By the time it reaches So Jamaica it may be running on fumes. Hope so.
155mph now. Crazy
@ 5 pm 150 mph
All of Jamaica got hit with the hurricane so why is he just going to some area. The poor people need money in the community to buy food. There are more elderly people out there who do not have shelter right now who need to have shelter and food. The government (YOU, AH) is not moving fast enough. The JDS need to be dropping water and food over the island. Why is curfew on the people when the people are the one cleaning up the island? NOT the Government. Where is the JDS the need to be out giving out food and water and cleaning up the island.
Hope I can see this going by today 7/5/24 Where poor people to get money to stock up on food?
So what happen to the second one behind berlyn??
Where is beryl now and what is the speed

At 11pm the hurricane is at 160mph, back to a Cat 5. I'm wondering how those outer bands will affect Puerto Rico. The satellite is showing it may go over Jamaica, and not only of the southern of that island...your thoughts please???
Its time for America to start handing out more relief funds
