I love how Larry just realized that he was the Avatar, master of all the elements, but he phrases it in such a way as to inspire Duke Dirtfarmer to become Dirk Lasermaster.

Hearing "The Last Laser Master" swell in the background filled me with some unmatched nostalgia
Vader as the supreme gentleman throughout the entire series. It's truly glorious.
One of the best, if not the best, character.
He’s also kind of an asshole though - he has a tendency to blame others for problems he causes (the padme friendzonening) and he built a murderbot and never bothered to check up on him.
But unlike obi he recognized his flaws when he died, so props there
he shows character growth throughout the timeline.
Well as regional manager Vader he is much more mature, the wrong you mention did was when he was young and/or under Obi's apprenticeship.

You don't have a point. Larry exclusively acted in self interest to the detriment of everyone else. It was only good fortune that the buyer of his kid wasn't terrible. Just because someone isn't perfect doesn't give you carte blanche to act like a narcissistic shitbag. The false dichotomy that you have to either work yourself to death or work yourself to the point of death is only used by lazy people or people who are too stupid to optimize their time. If you're happy with a salary cap of $100,000 - $150,000/yr with lower maintenance then you can easily find a career path that support that in tech.

When Creepio suddenly spoke I nearly died. You always know how to turn the limitations of your own format to your advantage, that is incredible. And the subtle reference to the Last Laser Master while Duke was imagining his stick gave me actual shivers. You managed to build your own lore and, at the cost of repeating what everyone is saying here, it's shockingly more entertaining than whatever Lucasfilm is doing. I love you

I like the idea that, for once, Larry actually had a point about just how bad the job was, and what it was doing Anakin, but both because of his inability to articulate what was happening and the juvenile lifestyle he was living there wasn't any way to communicate this.
Larry finally showed at least a glimmer of empathy towards Anakin.
It speaks to Auralnauts' talent that they were able to convey this with existing footage and different dialogue, I nearly cried man!!

It cannot be understated how big a creative feat this series was to pull off with the cohesion, humor, and twists it has
I am amazed how well this all ties in to the Auralnauts “movies”. Anakin’s rage at Larry drives him to use his corporate position to spite him, converting all Imperion’s assets into family friendly ventures so Larry can’t enjoy any of them. This is a big step on the path of Anakin becoming the asshole he confesses he is to Dirk in The Last Lasermaster. It sets off the events of Laser Moon Awakens, where we see Anakin shutting down a party bus in a family fun zone - to the chagrin of his daughter - which ultimately leads to them being estranged.
All because Obi kept wooing everyone Ani was interested in.
But then at the end of Ep6, Ani realizes that being surrounded by assholes is not an excuse to be an asshole yourself, and he is able to impart wisdom into his nephew before the end.
For a comedy, this has all been extremely heartfelt.
Somehow, I now really want Disney to make Kenobi season 2.
The more they make the more material Auralnauts have, which is always a good thing

I love that little touch where Larry tells Duke a totally fake version of how things went down because he couldn't accept the truth bombs Anakin just laid out.
But let's be real here, Anakin is the GOAT in this series. Even after EVERYTHING LArry did to wreck his life he STILL wanted to help him get clean and stable living. This man is saint and is too pure for this world.
The funny thing is, with the truth bombs, Larry actually kind of had a point with the job aspect, but he wasn't able to articulate it. The job was doing terrible things to Anakin and Larry could see it if not explain it. It's probably the *one* time Larry has had the moral highground in the series.

Auralnauts managed to do what George Lucas couldn't; make Anakin Skywalker a likeable protagonist.

As a radio producer and sound editor, I have to say that the audio from your videos is always perfect. The mixing, the choice of music, voice acting, the effects, and sound editing is all professional grade and very refreshing to hear.
Not to mention the excellently silly but clever music is original, not licensed tracks. Even if it’s a mostly straight club or metal track there’s these bits of clever ear candy, like the prog-metal arpeggios in the climax fight track. Nicely balanced.

I didn't see the series but just before that when he's bombarding Anakin with rocks my thoughts went back to the Disney version and literally said "that's so stupid!"

Having a character declared that they absolutely won't do something, then immediately caving, is funny enough to get a "heh" out of me. Revealing in the next episode that it's a consistent trait which causes a plot complication got a belly laugh.
Up next, Larry tells stories of the glory days of dance fighting, and how everything looked very weird during that time due to the extremely high midi-chlorian counts.
Enter, The Clone Wars animated series.
These are so much better than the actual show. 3 thumbs up

Prob cause despite how hilarious and ridiculous this series is these characters are well written and have arcs. Not to mention it's a full circle that is uplifting vs the full circle in RotS.
You know the lore is gold when people can recognise the soundtrack and see the foreshadowing in it. Genius as per. Love it. x
"Where one story ends, another begins." I havent felt like I did, as that music swelled, since seeing ROTJ in the cinema as a kid. By gods, you lot really understand yer craft.
The best part of this is the "final" battle between Larry and Anakin is whether Larry will abandon his party lifestyle and get sober or be given a "free pass" to do anything he wanted. Had me in stitches.
Honestly it was framed more like a double edged sword , larry either surrenders to the lifestyle that's clearly taken its tole on anakin and looks like a nightmare from his perspective or win and basically be back to square one with his old lifestyle that's hes been relapsing into.
You did it! You turned the shit show into gold. Rings of power next!

Not sure what's more amazing, the last dance fight or the fact your characters are so deep you can actually have true tragedy in such a ridiculously hilarious parody.
In spite of this being a parody, the storytelling is great and satisfying.
The ASFYU (Auralnauts Space Fight TH-cam Universe) is phenomenal and I’m happy to give back to the channel that has given me so much entertainment and so many laughs! Keep up the great work, and I’m looking forward to season 2 of Larry!
Music is the soul of art, and your track adds to this fanfiction -- so ridiculous, so hilarious, but it has more heart than most of the Sequel Trilogy. And that last scene with Larry giving Duke that lightsaber to hold was probably the kindest, most selfless thing that old rascal ever did for anyone. Thank you for making this. And I am so glad that after all of these years of following, I found you at all.

I'm honestly amazed at the sheer depth this has and its an F'n parody. It's brilliant! The lore, the worldbuilding, and the characters are all so good and it's all just a parody of Star Wars. Seriously you guys are awesome!
