    Bronze Star Stealers fan Lee, thanks for your service! So I noticed the orientation of the dust cover on the USP slots was 90 degrees to the left with the tabs on the inside of the cover running vertical, but the slots are horizontal. I take it that the dust cover can be rotated after installation to match and fit the USB ports. Also, drilling/cutting holes in the rear vent cover plastic had me puckering, but then again it does that anytime I' have to alter something for fear of screwing up. I think you all did a great job and this should be a big help to those with this vehicle as a guide for when they want to make this change in their truck. Gary, thanks as always. JB.

    Bro, just found your channel. My wife and I have Jeeps. She has a JL Rubicon 4XE and I have a JT Rubicon. I saw your FL camping vid, very nice! We're from FL, but live in Maine. Hopefully we'll be living back home soon (potential job transfer). I love your vids! Good work! Subscribed

      @@DixieOverland we're renting a condo on Amelia island for two weeks in April. Can't wait to be back in the sun and feel the sand on my feet! When I retire I'm never wearing long pants ever again!

    Thanx for the video. Our JT has USBs and 110, but we are removing our 12v upfront for a trailer brake controller, and want to relocate the old 12v to the back so we have all 3 power options.

    do you know if there is a power source back there if you have manual windows?

    • @DixieOverland
      @DixieOverland  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not sure. There might be if you have rear air because there is a temperature sensor back there that gets power.

    Could I potentially order two of the usb ones and use them both instead of the 12v?

      I don't see why that wouldn't work.

    So the black wire goes with black and the red went with pink?

      @@DixieOverland yeah it just shows that you guys connected the ground (black) but doesn't show how you connected the red. Was just curious if that's how y'all hooked it up. Great video by the way, very informative and looking to install mine tomorrow

      @michaelreyes3759 I think we used a multimeter to figure out which one was hot at the time. I'm glad we helped you with this though!

    Why didn’t you just drill the holes and mount them through the panel 🤦🏻‍♂️. You don’t need the bracket. It’s only designed for use with boats and where there’s a void that needs covering.
