Great choice on the CV20 we love ours, coincidentally we were looking at the swift 122 before we decided, on Friday I do a comparison video on the swift.
Can’t wait to get the CV20 - Look forward to watching it and be interested in your thoughts on it - love your videos and me and Rachel enjoy watching each week.
Hi David. Thanks for the video - found it very interesting as we might be changing from caravanning in the future as our needs and camping style changes. Looking forward to more. George - CaravanningMacs
Thanks for the comment George - Each outfit type has its pros and cons doesn’t it and there is a lot to consider on what’s best for you. Good fun looking (most of the time) and researching too 👍
Van conversions vary greatly and we admire your method when deciding what’s best for you. We took a big risk changing from coach built to a panel van conversion but to be honest we have never looked back. Everything is more compact and we had to get used to the “campervan shuffle” with two people and two dogs 😉🤣🚐 Take care 👍🏻 Trev
Thank you for the comment - appreciated. I love the uniqueness of your van - very well thought through and being able to customise what you wanted looked like a great idea. Great to hear that you’ve never looked back as in the back of my mind I wonder if I will at some point wish I had gone back down the coach-built route but fairly confident we’ve done the right thing. Thanks again - David 👍
Hi David, just found your channel. Love the videos. We also have ordered a cv20 in grey. Hopefully should get in spring 2021🤞🤞.Will be interesting to compare notes.
Thanks for the comment - hope you found it useful - it’s an interesting choice as every method of camping has its pros and cons and it’s what works best for you individually. I loved the motorhome and think the campervan will give even more opportunities to explore. It’s an interesting decision and step. You thinking of getting a CV?
I have an Elddis Autoquest CV60 as it’s just me and the dog so it’s perfect. I agree with you about the basic camper van and if it’s a VW they are over priced too, you pay for the name.
I looked at the CV60 and was very tempted by it - imagine it’s perfect for you and Coco. At the time they were great value too (like the CV20). Thanks for the comment - have a wonderful Easter, all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Thanks Very informative. We are looking to buy a CV20. We looked at the 122 vans as well but found the gap between the kitchen and bathroom to be a bit tight. Also when using the loo, could you inadvertently knock the shower lever and we end up getting wet !!!
I hadn’t picked up on the shower lever but the gap was the bit I think which I could quantify as why I didn’t get one. The 122 was a lovely van but the CV20 just felt right for us - also came in at that point at a much better price point leaving money left over for adding stuff to the van and making it our own, and still save a few grand too. In theory the 122 would have been right but in practice the Cv20 beat it on a number of things, also the gas tank on CV20 underneath not bottles in lockers inside in the 122 - just seems outdated, nice van though. Enjoy your search and if it helps, for me the cv20 Has exceeded expectations and my expectations were pretty high especially after the wait and you do worry if you’ve chosen right but I am really pleased with the choice. All the best. David 👍
Hi David, just subscribed mate and loving the video's, looking forward to the walk around video when you get it :-), we have ordered the CV40 2022 model which we will hopefully be getting in February, we ordered it from Tyne Valley Motorhomes. By the look of it i don't think you live too far from me, i live in Stockton. Keep up the excellent work mate
Thanks for the comment Trevor, most appreciated- fingers crossed yours comes in somewhere near on time - out of interest did you get a choice of colour in the 2022 model from Tyne Valley?
Hi David thanks for the video, I've just subscribed to your channel. We ordered a CV40 in July this year from Brownhills Newark for delivery in March 2022, I was concerned to hear that you were still waiting for yours, have you taken delivery yet?
Thank you very much for subscribing - I ordered the CV20 at the back end of September 2020 and it was due in March/April 21, there were a number of indicative months through the year and now it looks more promising subject to pre-delivery inspection and hoping no other shortages of parts, to be available for the dealer to collect at the very end of November so with a bit of luck get to see it in early December and then hopefully get it home very early January after DVLA registration. I understand your concerns and it’s not just Campervans at the moment which are suffering with unpredictability but sincerely hope you don’t get the delays I’ve had 🤞 - Thanks again, David 👍🏻
It sounds like you had done a lot of research before your final campervan. We hope you make many happy memories. Very best wishes Mike and Donna
Thanks Mike and Donna - you’re right we did lots of research and I think it’s paid off as we are really pleased 😀 - all the best, David & Rachel 👍

@@DavidWalkerX yeah it will make the world of difference. I hope you don’t get any further pushbacks. 😩
We got there in the end 😀

@@LeisureBit Yes we did, grey or grey :-) Fiat have dropped the blue from their signature series so now its only available in Lanzorote grey

We chose a cc20 for the same logic as you must be a David thing .we pick it up next week ..
Excellent - exciting times - the CV20 is a great van - very practical especially for tall folks! 😀
Enjoy! Happy adventures
