Yo Fams, this Matchbox Mustang is a weird one but It came out pretty good! Hope you all had a good weekend. Opps I guess we did 2 mustangs in a row. Whoops a daisy! 1 like = 1 diecast saved 🍺🍺🍺👍👉👌
Awesome video! I’d love to see more MadMax style vehicles. Another really cool idea is to make a Cyberpunk style car. This car would’ve been perfect for that, but there are plenty of other wacky body styles that work perfect for both ideas.
That sir was, no that IS a work of art! The paint was perfection. The color shined. I'm betting that in the sun or the daylight it has a glow and at night or less light the color has a darker Coppet hue to it. This restoration was excellent, exceptional, again PERFECTION!
This channel is so far beyond just die-cast customization, die-cast restoration, etc. Which is why I love it! He utilizes humor, fun, goofy a## comments, and die-cast cars, usually really unique, different, and always amazing castings. The cars are the eye catch, the content holds you in, the creator's humor and incredibly talented abilities keep you there and keeps you laughing, entertained, and for me, he teaches me so much on die-cast cars, restoration, customization, and past models and different products. For example, customization of a Mattel Hot Wheels from the 1970's, then the 80's, 90's, etc is a bit different. Now add in Lesney Matchbox, Superfast Matchbox, Tyco Matchbox, up to Mattel's Matchbox, again different. Now add ERTL, maybe Corgi, and other obscure brands and types. All of them have a unique look. Some have very detailed steering wheels, detailed interiors, maybe even a dashboard that has details. His videos show these unique traits, and how to, if you choose to that is detail them. He truly does incredible work, and he has fun while he does it and cracks the audience up in the process. Also again he chooses some incredible cars to fix/restore/customize as well. He has mad skills and it's great to see his creations!
Loved the idea of getting rid of that "toons" type engine. She is a beauty! I would have considered shaving the roof rack off and only leaving the rear portion of it to be like a roof spoiler.
I'm glad the filter kicked in on the ginger Bush thing hehe. it look way better with that motor. that color looks spectacular on it and the grill and bumper details are awesome

The different motor looks way better. I was thinking an Open Convertible Front cab and chrome the rack with a Surf board. Might have work as a Ghostbusters vehicle as well.
Not enough muscle car shooting brakes in the world! This thing's pretty sweet aside from the original goofy engine. I actually really like the roof rack on it.
Do you sell your finished cars. I'd love to try buy it from you. I had an old one 😪. Raced it on the ANACONDA Mountain. It jumped off, never to be found again, like it went into a vortex. Sadly the ANACONDA Mountain and the surrounding Garden Super Speedway Park has since all been removed and we still can't find the Mustang. More than 8 months since she disappeared. I have built a new Orange fiberglass deck Drag Strip. This car would be a fabulous Mascot for the new Drag Strip. ANACONDA Mountain is being restored right next to the new track in the new Garden Super Speedway Park. (The property changed ownership, and they broke it in three places removing it without my permission). So, like a Phenix reborn from the ashes, so will the ANACONDA Mountain.
mannn , she came out schweeeet ....That color is close to an old '60's Ford/Mercury ....Seen a '67 Cougar today here , very close match...Austin Rocks the details RH
Nicely done with the motor swap. It looks much better now. Awesome paint. Rare Mustang Wagon. I only seen one real one here on TH-cam, Can't remember the channel.
Been watching your channel awhile now ... An one thing I never seen anyone else not you do is a custom design on a hearst ... Would love to see you give it a go ... Keep up the awesome job .an thanks for inspiring me an other to fallow our dreams ....
Great to see the Vantastic getting the treatment, especially after Sidewaysking75 did one too. I won't mention there's another version without the exposed engine... As a British kid from the 70s this era Matchbox really appeals to me, it would be great to see some earlier Superfasts get the treatment, maybe the VW 1500 (Beetle) or 1600TL?
Really like the channel. I’ve been restoring some of my old match box cars for my son. I did a hot wheels theme in his nursery. I though I would let you guys know the hot wheels bully goat wheels and axles are pretty much a direct swap. Keep up the good work.
I had one of those when I was a wee lad, never liked it much, always looked odd. However you've managed to make one look quite cool, and that's no mean feat! Thanks for the video!
Great paint job as always! I might have killed that weird box thing on the roof or at least angled the front of it down to end up flush with the rest of the roof
looks great, I would have gone with no engine sticking out, and done it a la Mad Max, (the 1st one). Yes I know it was not a Mustang, but what the heck....

How did you attach the engine?

Still have that car in it's original orange and red ish chrome motor glory. Nice job cleaning up it's appearance.
I had to hit pause when he said, " ... ginger bush". This truly might be the funniest model car restoration channel.
Bless. You still think this is a model car restoration channel 🙂
Died, "gonna save that one" haha!

Mr.T says I pitty the fool that don't like diecast resurrection!!!
Hells yes. Great call back to Donny and Marie. That came outta nowhere!
That orange looked even better in the beauty shot. Lots of cool metallic flecks.
Loved the idea of getting rid of that "toons" type engine. She is a beauty! I would have considered shaving the roof rack off and only leaving the rear portion of it to be like a roof spoiler.
Absolutely, lose the roof rack completely.
I would have preferred a Mustang style hood scoop. But it is a nice looking refit.
Perfect 70's Mustang color..
What a difference. Looks how it was meant to look originally. Another great job!
Very nice custom, great color choices!
"gli gli, gli gli, gli gli....we're outta road!"
Man, yeah, man!
🧡
Turned out great looks good in that color wasn't sure at 1st but you hit right homerun
Wow. It turned out super Nice. Love the paint. Good choise with the engine.
I haven't seen any El Camino or Ranchero videos. That would be awesome 😎
Front tires needed to be smaller so it would have that 70’s raked look. Turned out great through!
Great choice of color , love the engine 👌 👍.
That orange paint looks delicious! Another excellent restyle! Looks like a Mustang mated with a Gremlin... and that's fine by me!
I'm glad the filter kicked in on the ginger Bush thing hehe. it look way better with that motor. that color looks spectacular on it and the grill and bumper details are awesome
Sweet build, Austin, paint is magnificent, mate. Cheers!
Beautiful custom and ginger bush safely removed lol . great video

Just awesome . AWESOMENESSSSSSSSS .
great work as always ..... WOW
Delorean with the white walls would be a neat built .
I love the color, another great build!
It would've been interesting to sit in on the creative tan meeting when they designed that
That came out very nice. I have 10 Mustangs.... 7 diecast and 3 real ones. ALL RED. Been accused of having a fetish for red Mustangs.
Nah…you don’t.😎
One of the best you've done
Fantastic restoration/custom.
Sometimes it is better bot to plan a project, this is sweeeeeeeeeet Austin. Congrats on 100k man
Knocked it right out of the park on this one Ace ..... looks stunning in that orange 🍊..... Vantabulous 😉 great job 👏 👍 👌

Dang bro you put your heart into that comment! Thanks man! 🍻
Nice job. Motor just right for the car excellent
The different motor looks way better. I was thinking an Open Convertible Front cab and chrome the rack with a Surf board. Might have work as a Ghostbusters vehicle as well.
Totally improved!
Ya I think this colour is perfect for a car named "The Ginger Bush"!
You should take an old project from when you started and refresh it again with all of your skills you have improved on.
Not enough muscle car shooting brakes in the world! This thing's pretty sweet aside from the original goofy engine. I actually really like the roof rack on it.
Nice work looks way better than the original 👍
awesome custom on the fly!
Great job nice color
Sick paint paint job and detailing! The wheel and engine swap made that Matchbox come to life. Awesome job
i would totally drive that car
Very well done!
That ginger bush looks like it came from those orangeish brown carpets around in the 70s
That thing is beauty, it reminds me this car looked like from the old movie called Gone In 60 Seconds
Put a couple of surf boards on top and you got a Bitchin beach bomb. Cool!
That's an awesome one! Congrats!
Would be great if you did a 1:18 scale resurrection. Thinking maybe the Batmobile
Dude, this one turned out PIMP!
Killer build man.
I always loved these orange wagons. I associated them with Mad Max personal car he went on vacation with. I love MAD MAX!!!
Do you sell your finished cars. I'd love to try buy it from you. I had an old one 😪. Raced it on the ANACONDA Mountain. It jumped off, never to be found again, like it went into a vortex.

Great work mate look Fantastic
Oh man!!! I had this one in my collection back in the day!!
Looks GREAT!!
Orange bush, extracts orange bush fuzz, save for later. Yeah we can make soup.
You saved that Mustang wagon's life.
Just getting rid of the original, insanely oversized engine made a 1,000% improvement! :) It looks great! :)
mannn , she came out schweeeet ....That color is close to an old '60's Ford/Mercury ....Seen a '67 Cougar today here , very close match...Austin Rocks the details
RH
Big improvement, Austin, that looks awesome!
Looks awesome! Ginger Bush is the name of my Ed Sheeran metal cover band
Nicely done with the motor swap. It looks much better now. Awesome paint. Rare Mustang Wagon. I only seen one real one here on TH-cam, Can't remember the channel.
Damn that turned out really good
Miss this style of vids from u
I was skeptical at the start, but as usual you pull off a very nice restoration ! Very cool!
Been watching your channel awhile now ... An one thing I never seen anyone else not you do is a custom design on a hearst ... Would love to see you give it a go ... Keep up the awesome job .an thanks for inspiring me an other to fallow our dreams ....

The only thing I would have done differently is maybe painted the roof rack a different colour. Other than that a beautiful van as always.
Nailed awesome job
Really like the channel. I’ve been restoring some of my old match box cars for my son. I did a hot wheels theme in his nursery. I though I would let you guys know the hot wheels bully goat wheels and axles are pretty much a direct swap. Keep up the good work.
It looks like a sweeter version of the family car in the original Mad Max movie.
Masterpiece
Exceptional!
Beauty as always, brutha!
Badass! So impressive!!
I had to laugh when I saw the notification. Yep, I used to have the orange mustang wagon....lol
Congratulations on 100k subs 👊
For the 100K vid bust out the old computer and do another custom 3D design. That camper you did is still one of my favorite videos
Hello, I am pretty early on these videos, nice car! I would 100% daily drive one of these in real life
So nice
I like it also.
Fabulous
I do rattlecan repaints. You do Artwork!!!
Nice job. Turned a hunk of junk into a sweet ride
Ginger Bush and Big Booty Judy hell yes Austin!!!🤣🤣😎 Bro you had me Rollin on the floor th first few minute's!!! Beautiful build
looks great, I would have gone with no engine sticking out, and done it a la Mad Max, (the 1st one). Yes I know it was not a Mustang, but what the heck....
Killer as usual, great job!! I had that exact car as a kid.🤘🏼🍺
