I bought mine from Evike during there Black Friday sale for $350. I also ordered two 3 pack gbb mags which arrived earlier last month. As I’m writing this I just got the notification that my Vector was just delivered. So I’ll have it waiting for me when I get home today. Great video, thanks you a sample of things to come.
Hi there, just a heads up with the vector review, this is falling into the same category as the emg john wick combat master video, "the one I didn't want to make but owe it to you awesome people to do". After 500 rounds, issues have been coming thick and fast, mainly with bolt sticking to the rear and extreme cooldown. I will post the full review as soon as I can find an adequate solution.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Sorry to hear about the troubles. Check out the guys at "explosive enterprices" on youtube, they have a video about the krytac kriss vector gbb.
Without spoilers, in October last year, when I heard that Krytac, the subsidiary of Kriss, was making a gbb vector, my preorder went in day one. Now, since my unboxing, I've had so many issues with bolt jams, feeding, and cooldown that it's shocking. On top of that, after 2 weeks of asking for assistance from krytac and not one reply, it's down to me to fix it myself. Who would think a £470 airsoft replica from a top manufacturer would end like this?
I just order all APFG and VFC stuff from Taiwan and Hong Kong for a while now and never had problems, not even with pre-orders. No problems when shipping to NL at least, don’t know about UK. Some things come in even faster than new releases from Europe.
Spill the beans on who let you down? I Got mine from Extreme Airsoft. Those guys are excellent. I hate pre ordering as I dis like paying full price for something that has not arrived but they offer a 10% deposit option; much more palatable.
Hi there, all I can say is it was not Extreme Airsoft. The review is well under way, and I quick heads up, I bought mine so you don't have to. On February 17th, I will be at Halo mill CQB, putting it through its paces after a lot of sleepless nights trying to get it to run past its initial 300-500 rounds.
I was looking forward to the gbb vector when it was announced but I’ve read and seen many issues with the krytac version and like you I ain’t paying the Kwa prices plus can you even get mags for them. I’ll wait for the version 2 before splashing any cash on one. On a side note who is the retailer in question that is referenced in the beginning. I don’t expect Andy to answer as he may get into trouble but if anyone else could shed some light on it.
There are issues with this vector, mainly due to the piston head being bad at sealing due to cooldown, which leads to shortstrokeing, the steel rails of the vector recoil system wich the bolt travels being very rough and pitted jamming the bolt as it returns etc... such a disappointment after waiting so long. As soon as I can, a full review is coming.
Hi there, I got mine from firesupport here in the UK. They were awesome and were totally reliable. Krytac just jumped the gun and released it as a sub-par product about 6 months too soon.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk I'm not sure what's sub-par since it's quite affordable for a GBBR now a days but it's a shame the bolt doesn't do the full horizontal to vertical recoil travel like the KWA is reported to do mimicking the RS.
Hi there, £460 for most is not quite affordable for most people's disposable income these days and takes some time to acquire . What I meant by sub-par was the lack of testing obviously done. The quality externally is amazing, but the internals are where the problems start. The rear rails show pits and excess material from the casting process, which slows the bolt and cause bolt jams. The piston is made of a hard rubber, and below 22c won't seal, and the bolt will short stroke causing bb jams and together stops the smg from clearing a full mag. All this starts after the paint on the rails internally starts to wear off, I am currently in talks with krytac to come up with a solution if at all possible. This feels like the northeast uzi gbb, we are currently only just getting the v3 after 2 years, and only now is it doing what it should.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Sorry I meant affordable in the sense that it's less expensive than most GBBR's now a days, not that it's cheap! My bad. Paid £400 for mine over four months. I've got the gen1 NE UZI, tried the upgrade set, absolute waste of money, I've just finished building a custom pillar drill to take my 1100W drill and a jig so I can very carefully drill and pin my gen1 mags since they're being pulled apart and causing major feeding issues. God I hope the Vector isn't a repeat of that gun!!
Right now, in the uk, the ghk aug a3 gbbr is not available. When uk retailers have them, they are 899.99 and approximately 89.99 per mag. On top of the price outside of Asia, parts are very hard to come by, including the low power nozzle for uk sites. I was looking to import an a2, but they have now been discontinued, and the last batch of a3's was July last year. One day, I will get hold of one. How has your p90 from we holding up any issues?
@@MiddleAgeGameruk you NEED the low power nozzle to field it. And the mags are WE, so the seals go bad. Other than that, it's pretty good! I'd say with the right upgrades, you could out snipe SwampSniper or Silo
Shot one at the shop. Not really impressed with the execution. Out of the box, the KSC/KWA one did a better job. Better action and better shooting experience. On paper it’s nice to have that mag capacity. I’ve got a video on the kwa vector doing mag dumps at near freezing temps and that vector just worked. I’ll wait and see what the aftermarket parts manufacturer can cook up for the krytac vector. As it is…out of the box. It’s disappointing in my opinion.
Hi there, as per youtube guidelines, I can't link to the site directly, but wgcshop.com is the site and just type krytac kriss vector gbb in the search bar. It's around 30 pounds, uk, plus shipping and is well made.

You are like myself. I have been waiting for a gbb vector for years now. Still waiting for my local shop to get it in stock but cant wait to grab one!
Stand by for the review as it's going to be a shocker and not in a good way.

Fair enough. I have not used mine yet as, like yourself, I have the cool down issues. I guess it’s a warm weather performer.
I have the original KWA version as well as this one yes cool down is an issue but it’s something I’m sure that can be rectified
Hi there, I'm sure it can, over time.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk I’m going to have a look when I get time and see if there’s a replacement for the rubber cup on the back of the nozzle anywhere

Testing my 402 collection
At least it looks cool. But youve got me convinced i need a Rattler anyway
Great option, the rattler is an outstanding pick. Just remember it will need a wearing in a period of 1.5k rounds. Hope that helps.
