That look of "mmmm" at 16:24 lol I had the same look when I upgraded mine hehe 😁I do like how this vector series started off as a disappointment for all of us who bought it at initial release to now where the legends at Hephaestus and other companies have got stuck in and now it works NOICE. Digging that setup though and I am a fan of that angled foregrip 👌
As much as I love the Vector, it needs too much after market parts + thorough maintenance to warrant my purchase. It is defenitely only for people who really loves the platform or have enough coin to own one. Keep up the reviews mate and cheers!
Nice rollers! I know another channel wasn't too impressed with the recoil kit as it slowed his down a bit due to the heavy brass, not sure if they had the new piston head though. BTW silicone oil on metal is a bad idea, it isn't absorbed as it is on polymers and turns into a tacky mess that actually causes friction, I just noticed you putting it on the recoil spring and rod.
Yeah and as it causes friction there can be little pieces of metal chipped away and then it just becomes essentially a file. Silicone oil is just a bad idea on airsoft toys overall and ptfe grease should be used instead in almost 100% of the cases.
Hi there, thanks for the comment. Normally, I would agree with your choice of lube, but after many tries with other types of lube, I found this to be the best way. The part that moves under recoil, down the recoil rod, is actually a dense polymer with cheap steal plates on the outside. When using normal super lube or ptfe lube, it affects the system badly as you say it gets all sticky 🤔, using just standard silicone oil in this case was OK.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Ah so it's polymer on metal, yes then you have to go for the most effective and least damaging option which would be pure silicone oil.
I’d be really interested to know how this compares to the slide kit, I like mine but it doesn’t run well in the cold on gas, on hpa it’s fine so I’ll need to wait till it’s a bit warmer to see the real difference
Everyone who's bought the Bow Master slide kit has said it's not worth the money at all, the only thing they like from it is the stronger spring for the flute valve. If you haven't yet just install the Hephaestus Piston Upgrade and you won't regret it, I run ASG Ultrair Greengas and ran in as low as 7deg C with no issues and no need for stronger gas and also any of the other mods from Andy's previous videos 👍
I never really liked the look of that gun, and I've told myself I'd stop buying guns after my last one. After seeing your video, I now want what you have and I know it's going to cost a lot out of my wallet.
Handguard is a Laylax one, can’t remember the length. The torch is a P20iX by nitecore I think. Suppressor is an acetech (maybe angrygun?) socom 5.56. Sight is a vortex crossfire. And the foregrip is a SRU one
Hi there, thanks for the suggestion 😊. I suffer from seriasis, and the cream they prescribe me is a steroid based cream. Sadly, stress and certain chemicals in household products trigger it. It looks far worse than it feels, though.

What a beautiful set up. How gorgeous!

Stellar video as always Andy 👍 looking forward to Krytac doing some more upgrades for this beast.
Thanks 😊

Can't wait to try it out myself!
Btw, what are all the attachements on the front? inc. the foregrip? Cause I love the setup!
The foregrip is from SRU. The GBBR M4 Hera style stock. Think it’s available separately but don’t quote me on
The Handguard is laylax, the light is a p20ix with remote, and the suppressor is a socom. The forgrip is sru. Hope that helps
is it possible to use 22kg pressured Red Gas?
Will this work with Bowmaster Slider?
how about a score out of 100?
What is the handguard featured in the video
It’s a Laylax one. Can’t remember the length
@@benpowell3159do you happen to know the grip as well?
@@DiegoPerez08SRU. I think they sold them separately but it might be discontinued noe
Ok how have I managed to chip my Piston head then
Hi there, an interesting one indeed. You can message me through my Instagram therealmiddleagedgamer, it would be interesting to see it.
Your hands look painful, especially the end of your thumb. Have you tried working hands hand cream, it’s very good.
