Thanks for pointing that out. I watched the video and learned something about the pump that was installed. I’m also interested in learning more about how they decided on which heater to buy and how it is plumbed to the water water system throughout the house.
Welcome Back Mr Kingsly, Is been a while and we really miss you, can you please connect me to the person who did your drone coverage, i really want to take a drone coverage of my site,
The scams that happens in Ghana will blow your mind, but who do you blame? If the leaders do their due diligence in vetting things that ship to Ghana the Chinese market won’t take advantage. There things which the Chinese market will never ship to the US but will definitely ship to Ghana because there’s no accountability
amps x volts equals watts. simple as that. the amps alone is irrelevant. a 24 volt generator will need 1/2 the amps to produce the same wattage as a 12 volt generator
Don't say Dumso is a problem in entire Ghana. We don't have the severe issue in Sunyani. I agree with voltage regulator though, mine has come in handy due the bad transformers the government has been installing.
If I need a generator to buy do you suggest I buy it from the US or Ghana please advise if in the US which one do you suggest please help me thank you.
I watched your full video and concluded that you used cheap materials to build your house. In Ghana, your pocket speaks if you want quality you have to pay the price and you are going through these difficulties because of your choice.
I don't blame the Chinese, i blame the Ghanaian. They very well know what they're selling. I bought my 10kva general from China,no issues. You get what you pay for
Those who are broke and unable to afford to live in Ghana. They finished their savings account. You must have a constant flow of income before you move to Ghana
🚨The Chinese know there is no regulation in Africa to enforce proper checks & quality control on their imports so they will continue to sell and import dangerous produce and foods that’s harmful without fear 😢
I’ve been told the electric fence will rust if installed near the seaside. Is this true! I’m building about a kilometer from the ocean. What prevention can I take? Any good alternatives to electric fencing?
You are looking good; the dose of vitamin D is doing you well. What is happening to the front of your building? Can I see water damage or mould colouring on the front? Maybe it's good you haven't painted yet.
Thanks Yes, vitamin D is wonderful plus lots of KONTOMIRE !! Not mould, just water that will dry. It’s typical on most unpainted buildings. In a developing area it’s advisable not to stand out too much hence no painting yet.
You have to be resilient with multiple income streams. Once that’s sorted it’s far better to be wealthy in Ghana than UK/US. Plus the constant Vitamin D
Could it also be some of the 10KW Ghana generators have two outlets, and each outlet is rated for 21A at 240V? I am asking this because a 6500W running (8125W starting) 120V generator in the US normally has multiple outlets: eg. 2 outlets × 20A @ 120V each 1 outlet x 30A @ 120V/240 split phase, and for the heavy duty types like 9KW running and up, an extra 50A outlet @ 120V/240V split phase is provided.
@aberba, my response/question to Kingsley wasn't to imply Ghana uses 120v. However, it was a suggestion/question if it could be the 240V types in Ghana (regardless of the phase) has multiple outlets just like the types in US where the total wattage of those outlets equals what generator is rated for.
@kingstal90 thanks Kingsley. This video is actually Godsend because your warning about the Amperage is very priceless. Coincidentally, I am in the market shopping for one and I will keep your advice in my toolbox.
To help you understand further, look at the example at the link below. This is a 10kVA standby / 11kVA prime rated generator. Max current is 11000/230= 47.82A. Continuous current is 10000/230= 43.5A. This is the current or power output of the generator. It has two sockets for connection, 1x32A and 1x63A. The number of sockets for connection is just the way the power is distributed. Some generators have single outputs. The number of sockets is not relevant to what I am describing here. The power of the generator is shared across the output sockets provided. The point is a 10kVA generator should give you between 40-45A continuous current at 220-240V nominal So if you are buying a 10kVA generator (single phase) in Ghana and the nameplate states 26A continuous current- then know that you are being cheated considerably!! Hope that helps you understand it better.
That pump probably came with "copper clad" cables. Not pure copper. You have to look for the details in the ad. If that detail is not availabe Don't buy that product unless you plan on upgrading the cables yourself. A chinese merchant is not including ANYTHING for free ...😂
Don't blame China blame our companies and people manufacturing in China. Chinese will produce for you based on your specifications. Our people are the problem, not the Chinese

yes - this is the exact problem

It’s crazy but this is the second time that TH-cam took y’all off my auto watch list
Yeah, some strange stuff going on there

Ghana has became excessively expensive and the Greed is insane. I’m currently building in Kenya and Rwanda
I know exactly what you mean

Really good video . Thanks for the great work. I have emailed you 😅
Hello Asha Gad How is Ghana Why Are America's Going Back ?😊😊
Going back?
Only some not all.

100%

Use galvanized steel that is impervious to rust.
Long time don't see. Hope all is w well
Yes ooo
Thanks
Do you know the Family by nature Family?
Budget $20k for Victron Energy systems and control your energy supply. Beware of those cheap Inverters, though

Neighborhood transformation is amazing from drone shot. Wow 🤩
@@jastelle45Has developed at a good pace
Haha, Ghana and Generators… (G&G) and Yal used to make fun of Nigeria. I hope y'all can afford it.
Do I still need generator if I have solar power? So how can one get the original generator .?
Try Spintex Road
Long time
Omg… it’s a lot to live in Ghana. Very draining.

120v is not a thing outside the US. Most of our generators are 230v and 3-phase

Manufacturers profit off misleading labeling because we (consumers) without expertise don’t read with technicality.😢
Exactly!!
But it is a very bad practice
It’s dishonest and unethical
