Car Camera - Estes Park, CO - Stanley Village Area to Fall River Entr. Sta. . 2012 ( コロラド州エステスパーク町 )

Took a trip up to Colorado, U.S.A. just recently, so thought that a road recording was in order of the Estes Park area.....
~As day turns into night at sunset in the mountains, so does the lights and shades we see along the way. Nothing like the Rocky Mountains & the fresh pine scent around, albeit mostly absent on this trip, to give an escape from the realities of everyday life and a sense of time stopping while at the same time almost being able to touch the sky (ahh, poetry kind'a~).~
We start this journey just southeast of the Stanley Village Shopping Center (on U.S. Hwy. 36). We continue north - around the main part of Estes Park on the Hwy. 34 bypass, getting a good look at the famous, historic Stanley Hotel (claimed to be haunted, the place where the idea for - you've guessed it, "The Shining" came from!)... beginning at 0:33 seconds and staying in view for 11 seconds (went over the centerline to make sure)...
U.S. 34 eventually turns into Fall River Road as we end up going out of the city limits of Estes and crossing into Rocky Mountain National Park at the Fall River Entrance Station (toll booth... then some). So basically we stay on one winding ribbon of road with multiple names. After a week up there, it's always good to get back on a straight stretch of highway that can go 75 or so. Still miss the mountains, though.....
FYI - It's about 527 miles if you take U.S Hwy. 34 all the way from Estes Park to Lincoln, NE's "O" Street (U.S. 34) the old fashioned way... been there, done that!
