ive always been skeptical these cais do anything, but i gotta say, after watching a few genuine pulls from different people, these jlts always add a pretty significant gain.
Im testing something out before I leave with the stroker.. with their intakes.. im hoping to have that car done by Monday and dnyoing next week.. so when its going on the dyno.. if you'd like to come check it out even if its late.. youre welcome to.. I dont plan to actually put numbers out on the car... but I am going to talk about the intake comparison that I plan to do.. it might get them to redesign the current one for the higher hp all motor cars if my theory is right.. we can work it around intake manifold rescue
So I am going over every video in detail taking notes. ALMOST pulled the trigger on the JLT intake. But nooooooo, doesn't work with the Shaker! Dammit. Have you heard anything good for the Shaker guys? Just curious. I added the light tube to the intake tube to gain more fresh air from the Hellcat.
The corsa intake uses the Donaldson power core filter . Best filter in the industry for keeping shit out of the motor just not as good for making power lol
Ill test one against the factory soon and see what the results say. I have a car im testing a cam in leaving it all stock except the cam.. and it has the mopar intake
I been thinking about a intake upgrade I been using corsa awhile now. I liked it it kept my iat's between 5-7 within ambient temps of course over time gets heat soaked but overall like I say I seen 5-7 within ambient with it being winter lol lowest I seen was 4 😂😂within ambient
I got a airaid on my 6.1. Will be swapping it out to a jlt. I have a jlt on my charger love it but the filter is always getting dirty due to my car not having a belly pan
@@OMGITSMRMACK That's on a Challenger though. Maybe it will work on a Charger? Must be close. I have it on my T/A 392, definitely cheaper than a Hellcat hood.
@@OMGITSMRMACK I know you can buy the whole T/A intake kit comes with everything. Not sure if you can buy just the plastic under hood ducting. Try looking up online or call the parts department at a Dodge dealer. Nice job on the videos.
I've been seeing alot about the blower cars picking up power going to much larger intakes like 5&6 inches have you tested and large intakes like that on N/A cars?
@@OMGITSMRMACK Hell ya love the comparison videos also cant wait for more 2020 ram content i have a Laramie Sport Blackout i wanna hot rod it up so bad I can't stand it. Lol
You mentioned testing the hellcat JLT tube vs the 6.4 JLT tube next week sometime. Will that test be using a HC throttle body and 392 manifold, because I'm curious to see if or how you modify the hellcat JLT tube to fit into the JLT box using the HC throttle body and adapter plate. At this point JLT should send you a free intake atleast. Love your vids man, keep em coming.
So im not going to mod the box. Im going to just do them both hood open and angle the intakes the same way.. itll be just to test out the restriction aspect of the tubes to see if we would benefit from a larger 4" ID
I have a widebody challenger Scat with a throttle body, hellcat airbox( w tube) and a tune. How much HP do you think I would gain with the JLT? I’m wondering if it’s worth the money?

Always felt Corsa was all hype. Glad to see it n writing
Would be really interested to see the JLT compared to the Hellcat airbox with a high CFM filter like the Mahle LX 3482.
So I did good with my 2019 Charger Scat. JLT FTW!!
Great comparison. Everyone always like the JLT intake.

@@OMGITSMRMACK sounds good. Just hit me up and I'll see if I can make it work.
That’s impressive! Especially not having a TB. You certainly know how to maximize the mopar!

nice 500 to the wheels very respectable
I wonder if I swapped the blocked hood scoops with a functional hood would reduce heat soak on my rt
The 5.7 corsa has a bigger whole at the bottle then the 6.4 i have the corsa for my 5.7 and like it, but ive been thinking about trying the JLT
Awesome video..JLT ALL DAY! Great numbers
I have a 2019 Daytona 392 and was curious if you would you advise those with the factory mopar intake to keep it or upgrade to one here

My K&n typhoon is 2-3 over ambient after a min of driving
What springs are on the car , it’s sitting perfect 👍🏻

Real testing
Try the T/A ducting from the hood scoop to the box.
No Hellcat hood needed, keep the weather out of the air filter/engine bay.
Hmm ill have to take a look at that and let him know. Good idea.

Nice job on the videos.
Depends if you an actual Corsa exhaust
Can you do a comparison with jlt and afe comp 2 carbon fiber intake?
So basically what I see is to get the SRT Daytona or hellcat hood. I think those the only models that got the functional hood scoop.
What do you think about the oem shaker cold air intake? Wonder if there would be a gain switching to the jlt...
Not sure how the shaker stacks up in the real world.. haven't had the chance to test it
What’s all done? Thing is beast
Do you remember air charges between the two intakes on the pulls?
I think everyone would be interested to see how much more air was flowing.
Nah. And its been so long that finding the logs would be near impossible. If I ever test another and its dramatic ill be sure to make a video of it
@@OMGITSMRMACK I’m sure it was drastic, just wondered the exact number.
Can you daily drive on your heads cam set up??
Yea, they're all dailys.. drive like stock too

Got any cammed fbo 392 in Illinois? I got a bolt on camaro. Definitely wanna run some of the faster 392s
This ones gonna be up that way lol.. its actually got Illinois tags.. but idk if the owner gets down like that
Dude for 500 hp man please give me a list on what I need to get those numbers 🙏🏽!!!!
Where's your shop? I want a cam in my 392.
wow!! that's crazy 😃😃😃

is this a heads cam car ?
Yea
