I still don't know how avlönskt manages to sound so similar to a native in so many languages
Yup... Portuguese native speaker here. It's the same, even the accent!
Mastering the usage and reading of words in the international phonetic alphabet helps out a ton with pronunciation, but doing so is not easy, so I recognize his skill in it
@@Magus_Magistus I'd say his glottal fricatives are like 2% stronger than a native speaker but to be honest if I wasn't trying to nitpick I wouldn't have noticed.

@@Magus_Magistus People from São Paulo pronounce "R" at the end of words as [ɾ] but he pronounces it as [h] so to me it doesn't seem like that dialect also 20 accents is way too little we have at least like 60.
I think this song is perfect for multilingual covers, since its melodies are largely repeated and each syllable is separated, making each word easy to hear. It's easy to tell what makes each language unique

a native czech here! it's really difficult for foreigners to sound natural while speaking czech but he did it flawlessly. he also managed to pronounce the Ř sound so well it shocked me. amazing! 👏

As a brazilian, same. Our langage can be quite nasal at times and I noticed it can be dificult for foreigner to match the prnunciation, and when they do, more often than not, they end up sounding like the european accent. He did a flawless brazilian accent and that left me speechless, specially considering it's a language that he said he doesn't speak. I've seen foreigners that do speak portuguese that couldn't achieve that level of perfection.
I want to know what sort of witchcraft does he do to achieve this.
as someone who's fluent in both mandarin and english and was recently tasked with translating multiple 4000+ word stories into english 4:28 is SUCH a mood

As a Vietnamese person, I was quite surprised because Avlonskt could speak the correct pronunciation of letters and words in Vietnamese. Too brilliant!

I do hear a very slight accent and mispronunciation but it's not even that noticable. For example, how he pronounced the word "hay" sounds more like "hai" in some cases, however it is a very minor thing, like seriously I was blown away when I first heard his Vietnamese pronunciation!
