Same, it’s so fascinating and interesting as someone who only speaks English to see the structure of the sentences so directly compared, really gives some insight into how the translations work (and why poorly translated English sounds so off; they’re literally breaking their sentences apart and restructuring them to fit ours in a lot of cases)
@@swordsmancs That's very true. I am a native Polish speaker and a writer and I constantly have this problem whenever I want to send my stories to my friends who don't speak Polish. Even if I use the good translator and then correct some mistakes or I translate everything by hand, I do mind flips and structural combinations because English is so stiff. In Polish you can change the order of the verb and put it in the beginning, middle or in the end and there is at least 50% chance you will build a sentence correct and it will even sound natural depending on the context (for example the sentence before and after). We just... Build sentences.

Our language doesn't get noticed very often, much less pronounced so well by a foreigner. As a Hungarian, I feel like the parent who awaits their child's part during a play each time waiting for the lyrics in my mother tongue. But this isn't the only reason this cover is so important to me. It signifies something much bigger than just a TH-cam cover of a song. Music is a universal language, the feelings it conveys are the same everywhere. But it brings together many non-universal languages. I greatly appreciate that you took the time to practice all the pronunciations and sang it all alone. You could've just asked around for other people native to those languages, but you choose to unite them under an outstandingly great cover. Edit: I just felt like adding the fact how proud it makes me to listen to this. Proud of being Hungarian, European, a human. Part of a society with so many beautiful languages, so many beautiful and diverse cultures to appreciate.

@@ZE.brigitte You can hear that he si not French on a few occasion (the one that ticked me the most was "noir" at the end but on some sentences you could not even guess he was not native, he is really good with accents.
I mean, polish is not that hard it's more of "easy to learn, hard to master" the main problem of speaking Polish is first learning how to pronounce all these phones like: ą, ę, sz, cz, ś, ć etc. the second problem is learning the declension by all 7 cases which, in combination with the declension by persons and plural form, cause several dozen versions of 1 word so basically, if you learn the pronunciation of Polish phones, there should be no problem with reading or singing, as it comes down to proper pronunciation, not understanding the meaning
"Tongue" is the litteral word for the piece of meat that you have in your mouth, in English it does not work as an equivalent of "language" like in French. ;)

That's the survivorship bias, read more about it. When someone is native english speaker and they are bad at sounding like finnish, you know that, however, when someone is a native english speaker and they are good at it, you won't even know about them being English

English speaker here; I appreciate the detail of "follow the bouncing ball" of highlighting the individual words of the translated captions with the syntax of the current language.
Same, it’s so fascinating and interesting as someone who only speaks English to see the structure of the sentences so directly compared, really gives some insight into how the translations work (and why poorly translated English sounds so off; they’re literally breaking their sentences apart and restructuring them to fit ours in a lot of cases)
@@swordsmancs That's very true. I am a native Polish speaker and a writer and I constantly have this problem whenever I want to send my stories to my friends who don't speak Polish. Even if I use the good translator and then correct some mistakes or I translate everything by hand, I do mind flips and structural combinations because English is so stiff.
In Polish you can change the order of the verb and put it in the beginning, middle or in the end and there is at least 50% chance you will build a sentence correct and it will even sound natural depending on the context (for example the sentence before and after). We just... Build sentences.
@@swordsmancs Once I was talking with my German friend and when German is more similar to Polish when it comes to sentence structure (both aren't English level stiff) but she couldn't understand how we can put the adjective AFTER the noun which is described by it and it can still be correct.

Our language doesn't get noticed very often, much less pronounced so well by a foreigner. As a Hungarian, I feel like the parent who awaits their child's part during a play each time waiting for the lyrics in my mother tongue.
But this isn't the only reason this cover is so important to me. It signifies something much bigger than just a TH-cam cover of a song. Music is a universal language, the feelings it conveys are the same everywhere. But it brings together many non-universal languages. I greatly appreciate that you took the time to practice all the pronunciations and sang it all alone. You could've just asked around for other people native to those languages, but you choose to unite them under an outstandingly great cover.
Edit: I just felt like adding the fact how proud it makes me to listen to this. Proud of being Hungarian, European, a human. Part of a society with so many beautiful languages, so many beautiful and diverse cultures to appreciate.

it's more of "easy to learn, hard to master"
the main problem of speaking Polish is first learning how to pronounce all these phones like: ą, ę, sz, cz, ś, ć etc.
the second problem is learning the declension by all 7 cases which, in combination with the declension by persons and plural form, cause several dozen versions of 1 word
so basically, if you learn the pronunciation of Polish phones, there should be no problem with reading or singing, as it comes down to proper pronunciation, not understanding the meaning

That's the survivorship bias, read more about it. When someone is native english speaker and they are bad at sounding like finnish, you know that, however, when someone is a native english speaker and they are good at it, you won't even know about them being English

Если это пел 1 человек, то это просто удивительно, идеальный акцент во всех языках, красивый голос, и твой мозг это как то держит внутри, у меня даже сердце дрогнуло, ты молодец!
P.S Я знаю что акцент не идеален, но я имею ввиду, что для такого большого языкового словаря, иметь хоть какой-то адекватный акцент для каждого - это невообразимо лично для меня, да и как я знаю потратил он на изучение не столь много времени, из-за чего я и удивляюсь...
Это был один человек, который кстати на дуолинго учил все эти языки около 3 лет

@@justaglitch. акцент то хороший, может и перегнул с идеальным, но хотя бы русский язык послушай, да, в конце немного заметен плохой акцент, но в остальном почти отлично, что для иностранца очень сложно, учитывая что он и на других языках тоже пел и изучал их всего 3 года..
HOLY HELL! I have never heard any foreigner pronounce hungarian that well, especially not while switching between a dozen other languages and STILL making it sound beautiful, immaculate job!
Native Polish speaker here, the fact that you sang the polish version perfectly truly suprises me as it's considered to be one of the hardest languages (atleast i think it is), you have my respect.

nie ma "najtrudniejszego języka", ale gdyby istniał, polski by nim nie był. Uczę się go od półtora roku i moim zdaniem jedyne trudne części to zapamiętywanie słownictwa (ale to jest trudne we wszystkich językach) i różnica między aspektem dokonanym i niedokonanym w niektórych formach czasowników.
Sądzę, że ludzie tak myślą bo pisownia wygląda tak dziwnie dla obcokrajowców xDD

Акцент всё-таки есть. Едва заметный, но есть. Особо он выделяется при произношении слова "вовек", которое превращается в "вовЬек". Но да. Великолепная работа.

Вау! Просто вау! Спустя столько времени все равно круто, красиво, невероятно и… дружно? Все языки разные, все страны, культуры и традиций, и всё в общем, но вместе это так красиво. Я русский, и этот язык мне привычен, однако некоторые языки мне очень даже понравились: Финский, Английский, Японский, Французский, прям красиво, аж до мурашек. Ещё это Bad Apple. Bad Apple мне очень нравится, а с этим… я даже слов подобрать не могу. Невероятная работа!
Чёрт! Его русский прозвучал практически без акцента. Я сначала даже не поняла, что это всё поёт один человек. Просто потрясающе!
