John ey I'm having some problems getting my unit back up in the neutral position I don't know if I need to turn the little thing 12 notches right or left kind of skipped over that on your insulation so I would appreciate it will help if you could put that on your website
My new 2022 Mercury 60HP EFI was destroyed when something (limb, pipe, who knows) got between the prop and the skeg. The Flo-Torq hub failed to slip and even at just 2000 RPM or so the lower unit pretty much tore itself apart as the engine came to an immediate stop. Don't yet know if it broke anything in the engine itself. Do you have any ideas for some sort of prop hub that will actually slip if the prop hits something?
I travel a lot. I’m considering getting a back up lower unit for my 250 stroke. I fish a lot of lakes with stumps. Is it practical to carry one around in your truck?

Hey can you guys do video on how to adjust shift linkage on the Mercury 250 mine is 2006 model. Its not fully going into gear making terrible clunking . I figure I should start there for diagnosing. Thanks

Is it the same way to install a lower unit with electric shift? Or do I have to do something else like have it on shift and reinstall

Can you please tell me the size of the bolt on the very back of the lower unit that holds the lower unit onto the motor(the one on the bottom)?

On the bearing carrier shims. How would you keep your shims in place while putting in the bearing carrier? Without them falling out of place?
