Compare some of the excellent actors of the past with many of the current ones on the programme and you can see the difference. Whereas the old ones are still remembered years after they left, many of the current ones are quickly forgotten.
This programme is absolute trash now, diabolical actors, awful story lines. Time it got either scrapped, or better actors and decent script writers. I used to love a bit of Corrie but I can’t abide it now.
Used to get paid as an extra many many years ago at their old studios (now knocked down). Just a passing few 5 second clips dressed up as a milkman. It actually cost me more to travel there than the wages were lol.
i was a stunt woman on motorbikes we did a show with Liz Dawn ,when it came to autographs she took me under her wing as i was still in my teens and i felt silly doing autographs lol . Met some famous ppz doing that she was my fav even out al the mega pop stars at that time .
One actor I can think of off the top of my head is Anthony Ainley. That's the only one from that show that I'm familiar with other than Shane Rimmer who I remember playing in the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me. I remember Anthony Ainley from when he played The Master on Doctor Who during the 80s.
I think it must have made on the cheap also there was a lot them ‘ death unknown ‘ was it was too much of job to find how they died or were they all members of the mafia ! 🕺🏾

He may of got a photo wrong with the name and he is Indian that’s his voice and they were cast in coronation street but I like seeing some of the non popular ones aswell we all know the main popular ones who are dead but 335 people clicked like and only 29 clicked dislike.
He didn't make this particular hit parade but Alf Roberts was killed off then I think it wasn't long after that the actor actually curled his toes up (?)
