@@reallyrebecca8332 Same, except my Mother has it. And no, definitely does not look like snow angels. From experience, it is more of a clamping up motion, rather than a stretching out exercise.
Yes I agree, also it affected Rita (Roxy Mitchell) later on where she can't go underwater anymore without holding her nose (Watch Drown & Out - I'm A Celebrity 2018)
THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK FROM THE DEAD JUST TO KILL HIM AGAIN. You have no idea how horrible that storyline was, like I felt some serious anger towards Coronation Street for this. What was the point of bringing him back? I don't understand it. I loved Andy he was my favorite character and I was so freaking relieved to find out he lived and then left furious when he died again.
I quite enjoyed it. I've recently come across Luke's rape storyline and it's impossible to not sympathise with him. Funny thing is the current Hollyoaks is targeted towards my age range...
Emma murdering her husband in Emmerdale was really intense and one of my favourites, especially as they spent a full week showing scenes of a funeral and leaving it open as to who died, narrowing down the characters one-by-one in each episode. Even Lachlan does not compare to her!
So glad you finally did a Top 10 list for the soaps! I fully expected Andy's death to be at number 1, but I hoped Luke Britton would be on here too. His death was just...wow.
Kylies's death was one of the most saddest endings. You could have sone Lukes death on corrie. He was in a car chase by pat phelan and then pat shot the car where the oil stuff goes and it blew up
My favorite was VAL from Emmerdale. Definitely epic exit in the best of ways. Not to mention how the show kept paying tribute to her for like an entire month. She definitely was a character like no other and the show bosses at the time understood that.
Good video, but it's not full representative of British Soap IMO, just the past decade. Corrie's Maxine getting bludgeoned to death by Richard Hillman was pretty vivid in about 2002/3. Brookside (cancelled in 2003) had a lot of gruesome and bloody deaths, such as Barry Grant pushing Sue Sullivan and her crying toddler off some high up scaffolding in 1991. Also Saskia Duncan getting smashed over the head with an ashtray by Steve Owen was graphic with a close up of her corpse's face in 1999. But the ones you covered I guess were the most brutal for this current generation :)
Kylie’s death was the worst, I cried so much when watching it, and I’m not even a Coronation Street fan! Her and David were so cute, along with their kids. RIP Kylie... 😭
I've never seen any of the shows with the exception of parts of Eastenders, so I don't feel I could really make a proper decision over what seemed the saddest because that would have to be based on really knowing the characters. But in a general sense the hardest to watch here was the one with the tram. The phone call being mentioned invokes a difficult personal memory.
Chicken Pie I don’t count Hollyoaks as a soap because it seems so awful but I watch the big three Corrie, Emmerdale and Eastenders. Out of the three, although it’s good, it’s definitely the weakest one
Dont agree, sorry. 3rd. Trina Johnston (EastEnders) 2nd. Andy Carver (Corrie) 1st. Danielle Jones (EastEnders) Danielle Jones' death was brutal and tragic, she was about to reunite with her mother Ronnie after bring taken away from her by her dad Archie from her childhood and Danielle was run over by Janine when she was crossing the road to reunite with Ronnie. She then died in Ronnie's arms, reacting with a haunting scream at the end of the episode which was eventually cut from other airings on repeat with some even asking why this wasn't aired after the 8pm watershed th-cam.com/video/FlNVDgDG-1w/w-d-xo.html
Not a bad list. Expected a lot from the big three but would have liked some Hollyoaks or even Neighbours. Having said that, instead of Barry, Ronnie and Roxy (Seriously, Eastenders, wtf in killing them), I would have gone with Andy, Fatboy or Den Watts from Eastenders because their deaths were pretty twisted and violent
The only TV death I cried at was when Neeta from Hollyoaks died because she was pushed down an already burnt school and school students stuck in it and Mac found out she had feelings for one of her students,Hunter. Then Mac was holding on to Neeta. But Hunter shouted out to Neeta that he loves her. When Mac heard that her let go. The episode ended with her engagement ring the floor. He was already evil. But nobody knew he was that evil!!!!!!
Also Maddie from Hollyoaks should be on this list because she was crushed by a flying door in the 2012 wedding bush crash. Everyone was crying and there was some survivers like Sinead George Cindy and tony. One of the worst facts about it was Maddie was so young! It was a sad day for many as it wasn't just her death it was Rhys as well but Maddie's is worse. Luckily Maddie wasn't the people getting married. That was Tony Rhys Jaucki and Cindy. So there you go.
James's death was excellent, in my opinion, because it was part of this "guess who dies" storyline, where each episode was what certain characters were all doing on the way to that fateful motorway. It had some inconsistencies, but the idea was that all the episodes were happening at the same time, so you saw earlier and later scenes in the background and stuff like that. Each episode also started with scenes from a funeral, but they didn't say it was for James until they showed him dying.
Sorry but Andy Carver shouldn't be number 1 - James should. He was literally pushed off a bridge, landed on a car, was thrown metres down the road by the car flipping - all on screen! What about Emmerdale's Ruby Haswell who took a helicopter blade to the stomach? Pat Sugden's death was pretty brutal for a farm soap in 1986 and same with Denis Rigg for 1989 and Pete Whiteley for 1990.
I feel like they should have re-filmed it when she fell, no offense. I'm guessing she slipped, but it just looked like she and Lauren took a casual step backwards for no reason.
Sophie’s girlfriend Maddie should have been on here. Her death was just tragic, she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and Sophie’s scenes in the hospital when the doctors stop trying to resuscitate her are just brilliantly emotional
You should do best karma deaths in soaps, when the evil characters get whats coming to them! e.g. Maddie Morrison hollyoaks, richard hillman corrie trevor morgan eastenders!!
i remember watching kylie’s death and i was crying so much😭😭😭😭😭 omg james barton was actually the worst one for me!! especially when he falls and kills the guy with the demensia. i’m happy emma died as well i remember the wedding one as well!! it was so sad and i hated it😭😭😭 andy’s was so sad and scarey😭😭😭💀💀💀
This is one the of the most glaring differences between British and American Soaps. While American Soaps will use death and murder as plot devices, we usually don't get too graphic very often. Most murder mysteries will take place offscreen with the body being found or the last scene is the victim talking to the unknown killer. Once the killer is revealed though, things tend to get a bit more edgier with the killer becoming more unhinged in their ultimate goal and more open about killing in camera view
Sad to say after tonight’s Corrie y’all are gonna need to update this list, cause it was horrific, legit a 40 min death scene and a beyond tragic ending to a beautiful love story . 💔
Kylie platt was one of the saddest deaths in British soaps
Macey Jo Ledson I fully agree, I cried for 3 days 🤦🏼♀️😂
Nah, it was that lass who played Ronny's daughter in Eastenders. she just finds her mum and then that bitch that everyone hates runs her over.
I cried at Kylies death too.
Yeah I stared crying
I know she was my favourite character it was so sad when she died
Ronnie and Roxy's death was the worst, not in the way they died but in terms of writing
Aron Crillco It was a seriously lame way but it was hard hitting
Yeah. Seriously, an awful way to get rid of two characters.
for two iconic characters it was a very bad way for them to leave the soap
Aron Crillco I agree
Looked like something out of Final Destination
Who needs horror films when you have British soaps.
+Sam Mulholland Wow, sounds like you're the one who needs to get a fucking grip and lighten up.
EDIT: Oh, looks like his comment's gone now.

George Armstrong oh god yeah. Ill fix it. Thank u.
SAME!!! lmaoooo :D
It was a loooong ride, but Corrie REALLY made it worth it in the end.

Hannah Mutant Spider 11 me too!
Jack P Shepard (David platt) is a brilliant actor.

Eastenders back in Christmas 2015

Ronnie Mitchell, (she thought he was Vincent)

Yorkshire Lass Well your a bit of a prick aren’t you?😂
Well u clearly do

If you are having a fight with your friend, never go skydiving with them.
Surely Maddie Morrison from Hollyoaks should of been on the list??? I mean being crushed by a flying flaming car door is a brutal way to go......
I'm surprised she wasn't tbh. Expected her to be number one
Yes but it was a stupid and unrealistic death and hollyhoaks are starting to think their Hollywood
Josh Mathieson or Carmel McQueen that was so sad
That was hilarious though, you've got to admit.

Were the hell is Aidens death from Corrie I cried for so long after that happend?!!?
Ellie Jasmine x it was never a death u saw on screen though
Never bothered me at all. Hated him from the first episode he was in it
he committed suicide 😢🥺
You could of done some honourable mentions such as; Tina’s death, heathers death, pats death etc.
RIP Barry. A true legend.
Hollyoaks? Andy being impaled, Steph burning to death, Callum being stabbed by katana?
Every single character on hollyoaks is murdered or a murderer. Its the worst soap going
Sad because it used to be so good.

Emma murdering her husband in Emmerdale was really intense and one of my favourites, especially as they spent a full week showing scenes of a funeral and leaving it open as to who died, narrowing down the characters one-by-one in each episode. Even Lachlan does not compare to her!
Let's be honest, during the tram crash episode of Corrie, we were all mostly concerned about Rita.
Erm, no we weren't mate.
Because we could see her
But it was difficult to discern who else was there
Andys death in hollyoaks where he was impaled that’s by far the most brutal soap death
@@charlottelouise1409 No one said it was sad, they said it was brutal

When you wanted to die in The Walking Dead but instead died in a British soap.

Kylie platt though, that was literally the saddest thing ever...
Ronnie and Roxie's deaths were amazingly well done.
British soaps are like horror movies with more character development like if you agree
Yorkshire Lass you can fuck right of
I probably would have added Carl White's death in Eastenders, crushed to death in a car crusher.
No he wasn't. That was Arthur. Ronnie killed Carl by slamming the car boot on him. He was already dead by the time the car got crushed.
I was so sad when Kylie died in Coronation Street
The Roxie and Ronnie one was so brutal. I actually remember watching it and being kinda shocked.
