I had one in '78. Chevy luv. In the 80's these and Toyota flatbeds ruled the freeways of LA making deliveries, hauling equipment. I never understood these being phased out. They were made in Japan.
@@littleoakey32 In 1984 in Fort Polk, Louisiana there was a fella who owned a Ford Currier. It had a straight 6 with triple 1 barrel carbs and no hood. That thing would lay rubber for 2 Telephone pole lengths and dang near pull the front end off the ground! I loved that little truck! A few years later I bought a Ford Ranger and loved it. Those tiny trucks were just too cool back in the day. A friend of the family's had a Chevy Luv and that was during the ethanol/ home made gas wars were on. This dude strapped a 235 gallon fuel drum in his bed and filled it with home made gas! He could literally drive from here to California and back I bet. Crazy dude, let me tell ya. But I'd do that in a heartbeat if it was legal.❤️
Chevrolet LUV (Light Utility Vehicle) designed and manufactured by Isuzu and branded by Chevy starting around 1972. A diesel version was introduced later on.
