This is what you get when you build street rods and throw in a 70s era vehicle. OUTSTANDING. I have owned and built a C-10 of that body style and I see lots of details and mods on that one. I see awards in the future for that truck. Thanks for the shoot Scottie

Love the truck, these trucks have grown in popularity in the last 10 years or so, I've loved them since I was 10 and I'm 41 now, one day I'll find me one, I like the long bed more. Thanks for sharing this beauty

Wow! I♥️TRUCKS. CHEVY made c10s 62-72. Like my dad and granddads owned. I have the 2nd generation of c10s, 73-87 aka THE SQUARE BODY. I own a 1974 swb ck10. 74 was the 2nd year for THE SQUARE BODY. I paid 1000 dollars just for the body. They had no power steering no power brakes. I got a sbc 327, double humped heads 290 cam, 600 Edelbrock, Headers,Miller's Custom Exhaust,Turbo350 transmission with the shift kit and 2050 stall. It's still a project in the works. Compared to this mine is crap(Compared to this). But I love my 74. I think it's beautiful and has loads of potential. I thought about getting rid of my 87 Olds 442 just to go ahead and advance on the truck. Videos coming soon. Contact me if interested

WOW, i got kinda teary eyed Scottie. I had a 1979 Chevy Cheyenne Short-Wide that looked almost identical on the outside in my 20's. Only difference was i had a Roll Pan instead of the rear bumper, Tinted Windows and my Wheels werent near as cool. His interior is AWESOME, mine was nice but more stock looking. Under my hood i had a 468ci Big Block with plenty of Horsepower with a NASTY Chet Herbert Custom ground cam. His engine is very nice, but i bet i could out run him! LOL Great Vid bro, brought back alot of great memories for me.

That black Chevy truck look just like my '77 Chevy short bed truck. My engine is corvette motor, clutch 4 speed manual transportation, high speed axle, use leaded gasoline. Low rider truck, frame 1/2 foot away from pavement. 120 mph racing in Detroit freeways without my tailgate. Listen to my song SPACE TRUCKIN', power booster speakers, expensive stereo, drinking my 64 oz MICKEY 's fine malt liquor jug. Cops cars can not get my little brown truck. I will never forget it, love my street rod . Sold it because I can not find leaded gasoline anywhere. I am an old man. Chevrolet make good trucks. DETROIT!!!

Drove my little brown truck in Toledo freeway and I saw Toledo school for the deaf, going to Cincinnati city for deaf convention in 1980. Drove my little brown truck in Point Pelee park and Leamington city , Ontario ,deaf party in my cottage by Lake Erie, we watching your Toledo television show. Jay Leno is Toledo guy and my deaf friends watching that show in closed caption. DETROIT!!!
Only problem with taking the rain gutter off is you get drenched when it rains or wash it and the seat gets wet and those one piece windows look great but it weakens the doors the center post really stiffens up that part of the door and when you drive with the windows down the stock stainless steel 6x9 below eyeline mirrors vibrate in the wind the doors are very flimsy on these trucks in that area, i added some 1/8th inch thick metal inside the door to help stiffen it up, and then the front bumper is super cool but some states require a front licence plate like Texas,its stupid but it is what it is, nice job though, im restoring an 86 Silverado and i filled my cab seams and every creases and every rivit in the door jambs and on the insides of the doors where the door skin seam is and smoothed the firewall and did the Vintage Air , never again, its so tedious and time consuming but it looks so nice when its done.
Great and clean truck. I like the carbon hood and love to see a cool truck that is not sitting on airbags. I dont like the big chrome dashpiece and the chrome stearingwheel ,to much reflections when driving in sunlight, and the electric lifters are loud. Thanks for sharing Scottie.

Dang man, this thing is sharp. Ive also got a 1977 c10 that I'm building. Took it all the way to frame, dropped it, built a 350 for it, redid the interior black, re painted everything, and put American racing 17s on it. Not near the budget of this truck though.

2 weeks ago i got the 79 4x4 short wide box with every option that a 79 came with still has good factory paint every sticker is still non the truck even the safety jack sticker still in mint condition got from the original owner that got it new a one owner truck he just threw me the key's and said i could have it still can't believe i got it for free even has the 400 turbo in it with the 400 sb runs and drives like new and it has a grill i have never seen in a 73 to 79 truck before the option sheet said it was a all metal chrome grill what it is around the head lights and across the front in metal chrome and the center is plastic but with metal chrome bars across it in the front of grill i have never seen one with the metal chrome bars across and on top of the grill before and i have 8 of these chevy's

Looks like he got rid of the classic fender cab vents. I love those they let some much air i didn see the cab handles for them. I had them in my 77.

Looks good. Larry and the guys do a good job. But I could nitpick some on the comments he made about the truck cause some of the thing he said are off just a little. I have a 76 C10. But that does not matter the finish product is what matters. And it turned out nice. Scottie you are more than welcome to come by and see my truck next time you are in Knoxville. I have a 76 C10 that I have. Mixing new with old. Plus it is a blast to drive we can go do some burn outs in it!!
