Zoub is the type of hero we all need and he does amazing work with thorough explanations so we as users can better understand or even attempt to do this service ourselves.

Would be cool if you could get your hands on one of the new vivids... No videos on servicing them out there yet.

Best tutorial videos on TH-cam when it comes to dampers and shocks. I just got a trek slash and need to rebuild my Rockshox lyric select+. Can’t find that you did a lyrik shock yet. Plans on doing one?

    Hi ZoubTube,
I watched most of your videos about the Fox shock services, and I am surprised that you never mentioned the "Shockcraft Faux IFP Valve Stem Kit". You may be not familiar with it, you can google it like this. It will completely replace the pellet system with a proper schrader valve, so that you can use your shock pump as is, without those needles.
There are a ton benefits in my opinion. The biggest is that it is replaces the dangerous clowning with the needle (I even squinted in front of my monitor, when you could't yank that needle out of the retaining screw). It is also reusable, like any normal valve, but the pellet system is not. You can easily fine tune you IFP pressure if you wish.
There are a few drawbacks too, as its complicates assembly a little, and there can be interference issues on certain frames.
I do the air can service like this with the Faux valve:
If you want to test the damping before aircan assembly, install the new valve and pump it up like a fork and test it. But the air can cannot be installed with the Faux valve in as the valve is sticking out of the shaft. The IFP chamber needs to be deflated, and the new valve needs to be removed to be able to put on the aircan. (I think) you also need to be careful to not compress the shock when the IFP chamber is not pressurized, when installing the aircan. I would say you trade a dangerous operation to a more complicated assembly.
    What do you think?

I have the sc ifp valve in my rp2 and my sons floats dps works well in the rp2 and did once in the dps the trouble i have now with the dps is if I pump it up to 500psi and remove the pump I'm not getting much difference between open and firm mode, also lock out is very firm but still compresses. I've noticed if i put the pump back on I only have around 350 psi and I think air is escaping when removing the pump, not sure if that would cause the shock to behave the way it is but I'm just waiting on a nitrogen needle to try the pallet method again and see if I get a different result. any thoughts?

    HI @ZoubTube
I met you on a trail a few months ago and you saved my buddies read tire with your pump :P I remember you telling me you had a video on how to perform a 50 hour fork service for my fork (RockShox Pike Select + RC). I see you have a couple of different videos on the Pike, would you be able to direct me to the relevant one?
    Thanks!

Hey, could you do a video about dpx2 oil change when it gets aerated?
