    Very Cool! it is quite large. Too bad the lift assembly doesn't fold up for residential garage storage, for those of us that desire a lift. Nice video! Thanks for the presentation!

    It looks like the base should be wider in the car length direction? What if you guess the center of gravity wrong? I've worked as a mechanic with hoists for 35 years, and I want one of these for at home in my garage. I'm imagining building some hold down brackets to bolt it to the concrete for heavier vehicles though!

    • @jerseyshoreautorepair1727
      @jerseyshoreautorepair1727  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a marker on the lift that shows the center of gravity that the vehicle must be over. This is a great investment for your home shop no doubt. And yes you can make any brackets and bolt them down, we have thought about doing that.

    • @MalindoWe

    i would put 5/8 plywood under it if on blacktop, those rollers may slowly sink just enough to throw balance off and would put those tall screw adjust posts under front and rear of heavy vehicles

      Yes, we actually have small metal plates that we put under the wheels to help with any sinking issues.

    I am considering this lift for our shop. We have a small lip in our garage entrance about 1-1/2" tall. If you raise this up like a pallet jack, will it clear that big of a lip without scratching the crap out of the bottom?

    • @jerseyshoreautorepair1727

    • @jerseyshoreautorepair1727
      @jerseyshoreautorepair1727  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends on where the tank is located. If it is more in the middle of the vehicle then yes this bar will be in the way, but more further in the back you will have no problems.

    My question is how difficult it would be to get lowered cars onto this lift? Looks like you would have to build some wooden stepped ramps to clear both sides. Especially the side without the ramp.

I have a "kwiklift ramp" and quickacks and want somthing that can go higher and make life alot easier and possibly replace the kwiklift ramp. Few more questions! Could you put the lift against a wall? I know you need space to pull the pallet handle but how much? Also my mustang is real low (autocross car) similar to corvette height, can you drive over this with low cars? I see you guys are moving it around. I want to leave it on one side of my garage.
