Another advantage could be introducing the new versions of F4, X-Men and others in an universe of their own, without the baggage of the rest of the MCU, and save the team-ups for cross-dimensional travels.
Yeah I kind of waiting to see how/when they tie in the X-Men and that would be a good way, although I dont think they will be doing it in the spiderman movies, but yeah, the multiverse would be a good way to bring it in, because otherwise they would need to really change the X-Men/mutant idea, because the thing about xmen that is different from a lot of other heroes is that its more than just a person who got powers and they can bring in later, they are mutants and as part of their story are a big part of society and society issues, so you really can't just throw them in, because it wouldn't make sense how you would have never heard of them or any other mutants up until that point.

I like how the Tony-Peter relation mirrors uncle ben. In the first movie tony is his mentor and father figure and in the second film peter has to deal with his death. Even if they had used uncle ben, his death would never mean as much as Tony's. Peter at Tony's funeral in endgame reminds me of the end of the first spiderman

I think what he means by being the next Iron Man is that the world needs a hero they can look up to. There aren’t a lot who are based just on Earth, since Thor, Carol, and the Guardians are off world. And Tony basically picked him to be his predecessor. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pepper names Peter the heir to Stark Industries when she’s done with the company.

I like how the Tony-Peter relation mirrors uncle ben. In the first movie tony is his mentor and father figure and in the second film peter has to deal with his death. Even if they had used uncle ben, his death would never mean as much as Tony's. Peter at Tony's funeral in endgame reminds me of the end of the first spiderman

I think by "be the next Iron Man," they mean an icon and a hero who can step up to be a leader of the Avengers. He is probably going to become the next leader.

I think what he means by being the next Iron Man is that the world needs a hero they can look up to. There aren’t a lot who are based just on Earth, since Thor, Carol, and the Guardians are off world. And Tony basically picked him to be his predecessor. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pepper names Peter the heir to Stark Industries when she’s done with the company.

Having incursions from other alternate realities opens up the MCU to then bringing in the newly acquired characters or leaving them in alternate realities only to cross over at certain times, as well as allows for the Spider-Verse in future movies.
