Don't listen to them. As they are shitting on your decisions, they're watching this video just as much as we are. My advice to you is to not stop. Don't give up. And remember why you do what you do. Be strong, because somebody has to. I went to boot camp 20150302.
Just got back from 45 year reunion in Sedona AZ . Five of us still stay in touch after all those years .flight line slime , Hollywood Marines, Air wing wouldn't change it for nothing.

@@Ranstone to drown in BCamp is embarrassing. Means you failed.. Means you were NOT Marine material. I graduated in 1983. I started in June with 86 other recruits, 13.5 weeks later my graduation class, 2057 had only 42 spit polished killing machines who now could call themselves for the rest of eternity - "United States Marines." Dont think for a minute your going to make it. They (DI's) dont want you too. I dont want you to, but you can earn it..... good luck puff ball.
Some advice from an old Marine Sgt. Try to get into shape BEFORE you arrive at boot camp. Do pullups, belly crunches, run, run, run. Work your way up to 3 miles (without) stopping. In the beginning you will not run 3 miles, BUT before you know it you'll be running 3 miles as a platoon, and NO stopping. The Drill Instructors will go crazy, especially Phase One ( first 4 weeks). All the yelling, screaming and chaos is part of Marine Corps history. Some say the yelling, screaming and chaos is to represents a "small" part of combat, but combat is worse. Hang in there, someday soon you will be able to say "Semper Fi" and you will feel the pride.

Water survival class was the absolute hardest phase in boot camp for me, they try to drown you, its your rebirth as a Marine. Ooohrah!!!
