I do not have the witches wisdom but it seems very "spiritual deck, practicing and growing as a witch " to me. And I think your pairing with the seed and sickle looks great! The wildwood is more "bare-bone, essence of living and surviving, naked truth of life on earth, DNA-ish level of being connected to all other living beings, respect nature and its forces, face oneself and oneself's naturalness" to me. It always hits deep and true for me but is also empowering me. If I use it with other tools, I don't pair it with a deck, but with runes (which I do not use for divination but to work with energy) or I cast a handful of random forest things (acorn, leaves, ...whatever is lying around). I never do start shadow work intentionally, but when a shadow topic comes up in a reading, I do a follow up reading on that topic and see how I can heal/ integrate/ acknowledge/ accept/ release the "thing"... whatever is necessary.
I think if you end up giving away the witches' wisdom tarot, you will miss its sweetness and gentle guidance, as well as the poetry of the guidebook. Seldom have I seen or read such a poetic tarot guidebook.
First, I'm new to the tarot - I need to say that because I too was drawn into The Wildwood by The Ancestor. This was way back in 2017, if not my first, definitely my second deck. I relate to your comment about shadow work and working with the deck. I would pull it out over time and I felt like the door wasn't open yet. At the end of last year I did my first deck mod with WWT, and have been through significant changes in my life since I first purchased the deck. There is a significant change in connection with this deck now. I feel a soul connection now and want to try the (my first time ever) wheel of the year with this WWT - it feels like a significant teacher. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with each of the decks.
I think this is a beautiful and uplifting ORACLE deck, despite what it says on the cover. Too many cards have similar meanings and, as you say, the darker side is missing. Perhaps using it as an oracle would give you a chance to revisit the deck before you decide whether you want to move it on...?
Love your journal on your Wheel of the year /Astrology design. That is the biggest reason why I didn't get The Witches Wisdom Tarot cause of the size of the cards, 78 cards for that size of cards is just too much. Am curious on the size of the cards they'll be doing, but am still not going to purchase it due it's not my deck for my collection. This is still an enjoyable video and hearing your thoughts on your Decks you're might be outgrowing.
you could include the wheel of the year from a nature standpoint. I always reflect on what’s going on in nature and how that affects me as being a part of nature. and then work with the astrological year from a spiritual point of view. If that makes sense.
Like myself try having one for light of the year deck and one for dark of the year see if witches wisdom just read better in the light of the year for you and pick a deck for the dark of the year
Ya I thought about that and I think it's a generally great idea, it's just not one I'm personally super excited about so I don't think that'll work at least right now.
I think decks with their own systems are really exciting and a lil intimidating. Integrative Healing with Sadhana has a playlist walking through the Wildwood's extra books. She actually made diagrams to show all the different parts of the Wildwood's wheel. I haven't done any readings with it yet but i've flipped through the deck and took some notes (the joys of plague related brain fog).
See you feel it so try it use the witches wisdom like you said spring summer and then switch to the wildwood for fall Winter you instinctively chose wildwood and felt that it was fitting for the dark of the year and witches wisdom didn't fit with samhain it's more light of the year cause you feel the witches wisdom so don't let it go.

Ya that makes sense. I'm just currently not doing wheel of the year readings. Dunno if I'll get back into it. We shall see.

Ooo thats really cool! I'll check it out thank you!

I do feel it in a sense, but I just don't think that will actually work for me. I'm not letting go of the witches wisdom, I'm still undecided.
My wheel of the year decks are Green witch tarot for light of the year and Dark wood tarot for dark of the year
That's really cool
