      @CreatingtheMagic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      🥰thank you so much!! I just stayed at Coronado this past week! Using the bus system was easy once you know how it works. There are 4 internal bus stops. Buses start at bus stop #2 and end at #1. So depending on which area you stay in that will determine how many stops you make before you head to the parks. 😊 buses do start running super early do or early park entry (😏 I do suggest getting there an hour before the early entry time…trust me)

I'm also worried the buses won't leave as early as I'd like to get there before early entry. What time did the earliest bus leave for Animal Kingdom? And what time did the earliest bus leave for Hollywood Studios?

    Hi Ma'am. Thank you for the very useful info... I'm from Trinidad in the Caribbean and I last used Uber in Houston a few years ago.. Lol.. Seeing that the Disney hotels are now charging for parking your car, I was considering not driving there (I usually borrow a relative's car from SoFlo and drive to Orlando). However, seeing that we're a family of 5 - we'd most often need an XL - which is ~$15+ each way.. and this could very quickly exceed what I'd pay in hotel parking fees even considering days we don't use the car to go anywhere.. And we usually like to do our own exploring / sight seeing around the city aside from the parks. So I think I'd be sticking to driving (since I don't have to rent a car), parking and paying the parking fees :( which would end up cheaper for us. But I can see where ride share can possibly be cheaper than car rental and parking fees combined... PS - Happy holidays ! :)

    • @CreatingtheMagic
      @CreatingtheMagic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for watching! You are totally on the right track and crunching the numbers when it comes to what transportation you choose to use. For awhile there renting a car was outrageously expensive and the available cars were slim to non due to Covid. Things are leveling out these days and it is so much fun to explore Orlando! - Happy Holidays to you too!

      I was there the week before and a few days into Spring Break last year and I did not see a price hike. HOWEVER, a lot more people are traveling now than this past year so maybe factor in a $5 add on to the prices I mention in the video just to be safe. ✨😊✨

    Thank you so much for the video. We are going on spring break and wonder your thoughts and recommendations. It’s there’s going to be 7 of us (3 adults and 4 kids) for a 9 day trip. We are going to all of the parks and plan on spending all day at each park. I want to keep us all together and not have to split rides but at the same time I don’t really want to spend $2k on a rental for that 9 days. What would you recommend? Is it worth just getting a rental? Also what are your thoughts on the spring break availability of ride shares? Thank you for your guidance.

    • @CreatingtheMagic
      @CreatingtheMagic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be able to give advice I have a few questions: You are staying offsite yes? The resort that you are staying at does not have shuttle service to the parks (some do if you schedule it - for a fee)? Next best advice I can give is download the rideshare app and put in the from/to information at the time you think you might travel to the parks (because time of day will matter) and price it out each day. If you find renting a car will end up being cheaper don't forget to factor in parking fees, check your resort for fees and then parking at the parks each day will be $25 (at Disney). Start there and if you have more questions ask! :)

    Your video is very helpful! Thanks! We're going this summer; do you know how much Uber/Lyft will cost?

    • @CreatingtheMagic
      @CreatingtheMagic  ปีที่แล้ว

      🥰thank you so much for watching! The cost will depend on where you are. Best way to get an idea of cost is to get in the app and put in your information like you were going to book a ride. Put in your resort address and then the park/place you are going to. If you roughly know the time of day you will be wanting to use rideshare look at those times so you get an accurate cost. Different times of the day will have different costs. 🤗 hope that helps!

      Tipping is up to you. The app itself will prompt you to add a tip and give suggestions of how much. You can decide how much you want to give or not. If I were staying on property I wouldn't be so concerned about how to find transportation. I found it MUCH cheaper to stay off property and take a Lyft. I just returned from my trip and am glad I made both the choice to stay off in a nice & cheaper hotel with a free breakfast and also the choice to use Lyft. If I had rented a car, it would have cost me more than taking a Lyft both ways because of the parking fees at both the hotel and the parks. @@cavy95

    • @CreatingtheMagic
      @CreatingtheMagic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a simple question at all. I had the same thoughts when I first considered using rideshare. I do not live in a place where it is really needed so I had never used it before going to Disney so much. I have never felt unsafe from any driver even on the trips where it was just me traveling. The app tracks your every move (you can see it on your phone and so can the rideshare service headquarters (if you will). There are also buttons or communication places in the app as you travel if you feel unsafe you can alert or talk to a customer service person. Hope that answers your question.

      Correct. Everything I have researched for the state of Florida says children under 5 need either a car or booster seat. 🥰 thank you for watching!

      @@domziphone1 :) When I first started planning YEARS ago I was always frustrated when I couldn't get answers. When I started this dream of being a Disney content creator getting a response from me when someone takes the time to watch my video and ask a question or comment is priority #1. I want to be that Disney internet friend you know you can count on. Have a magical trip!
