Thank you so much for your knowledge of how to do Disney World while staying offsite!! I have been having such a hard time trying to find videos that talk about something OTHER than the benefits of staying on property. We did that in Disneyland but chose to do an Airbnb at Disney World. You have done such a great job of getting right to the point and ACTUALLY giving real "writing it down in my notebook" advice!!! Can't wait to use your tips!I
Oh my goodness thank you so much and thank you for watching!!! 🥰🥰 I am so happy you found tips you were looking for. I know so many guests (including myself) stay offsite and need those extra details to help make their trip magical. Are there any other questions you need answered that I can help with?
Actually I do! Lol I hope this makes sense.... We have gone to Disneyland twice and kind of got in the rhythm of being there right at rope drop in the morning, and then leaving around noon to go back to the hotel because we used Genie+ like a rock star and got all the rides we wanted before noon. :) We would then eat/relax/swim and head back into the park for an early dinner (we eat early like "old people!") for a dinner reservation usually with an event ( Fantasmic, World of Color etc...) We did this when my kids were 12 and 9. Now they're 15 and 12 and can handle heat a little bit better. I'm wondering if it's feasible to do something like that here at Disney World in the middle of July OR is that completely not a good idea?! Are there ways to stay all day in the parks? I would really love to hear your thoughts. I appreciate your time so much!@@CreatingtheMagic
@@ericapogue6903 Is it feasible or a good idea...YES! Especially in July. Having that midday break is going to make all the difference. Also having prior hands-on knowledge of Genie+ is going to be a great help! (Just remember at WDW you can start making your LL selections at 7 am before you get in the park). If you are going for the 4th of July holiday the park that you may need to be in all day to get all the big popular rides will be Hollywood Studios. I am about to be there this coming Wednesday during the peak of Spring Break and I am staying offsite. I am focusing on Genie+ and offsite strategies. You can follow along on my Instagram stories and ask questions for your upcomig trip :) Hope this helps!
That totally helps!! Thank you!! Can I ask you one more question? We are planning on driving to the parks ourselves and paying for the "closer" parking. If we come back in the early evening will we still be able to get the same "closer" parking like we did in the morning? Have fun this Wednesday!! I will be following on Instagram :)@@CreatingtheMagic
This is such a great video, and I haven’t seen anyone else cover this topic like you have done - thank you! How does removal of Genie+ affect lighting lane reservations for off-property visitors?
Thank you! And thank you for watching. 🥰 I know this doesn’t help you in this moment but I have both offsite & onsite stay coming up in November to compare this exact topic. I want to have experienced it myself before I put out a video on it. Biggest thing I’ve seen others report on is the availability for multipass have later in the day return times. Meaning you have to work harder & modify a lot to get earlier times. For single pass availability is very limited.
