Indeed, Dr Acharya spoke to my mind . However, number of provinces if to be continued it must be reduced to three provinces. Likewise, size of Provincial Assembly be confined to maximum 50 members .In the same way, Proportional Representation system should not be given ; alternatives be sought for PR . Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances be strictly maintained. Independence of judiciary be maintained.
Numbers of members in the upper house ( National Assembly )and lower house ( House of Representatives ) be also cut off and maintained up to 155 members. Number of constitutional bodies be cut off ; number of local bodies be reduced to 355 . In the case the candidates who bagged highest votes died, gave up the post, found ineligible to remain in the post, the second highest votes scorer be appointed as the MP instead of going for by-election.If federalism be retained in Nepal, such reforms be introduced through amendments in the Constitution of Nepal !
