This shows the evolution of ABBA over the years. They gave us the best decade of themselves and their music! Awesome Creativity... thank you for sharing! 💖 2:06
omgoodness what an emotional ride we are on with our beloved abba evolving over the years. what a fabbaulous tribute to the best band in the world. thank you becky for another great effort. you truly are one of their number one fans {after me, lol}. lol love and peace to you and all, xxxxxxx
Becky, congratulations! You have created something great, filled with precious information for fans and nice pictures/videos which make your work definitely worthy watching. (DJ Tony)
...WOW, bravo what a cracking video, all the big hits are here... those were the great times to be growing up in...ABBA were a great accomplis to my childhood and teens...thank you so much, many great memories have come up to the surface. 💙❤️❤️💙✨❤️🔥🫂🫂💋
I never considered a lip sync on a TV show a "performance". The Cavett show as far as I am concerned was the last "live" performance they did. I can't find it, but somewhere they sang "When it said and Done" with Benny on an accordion for a private event after 1982.
There should be live performances of “I Still Have Faith in You”, “Little Things”, “Don’t Shut Me Down”, “Keep an Eye on Dan”, and “Hymn to Freedom”. Apparently, however, those were never performed live.
I think the trickiest part is the early songs and, as you have stated, some of these are unconfirmed. As far as I am aware, anything performed on the 1973 tour is purely guess work as, as far as I'm aware, theres no documented evidence of any setlists. The same is pretty much the same for the 1974 / 75 tour. The only evidence is the fan bootleg recording from June 75 at Eskilstuna, which is believed to have a few songs missing. I've never seen any evidence that 'People Need Love' was performed on that tour, and that's the same for 'Santa Rosa'. The TV appearance of that song is unconfirmed and I would suspect performing it in Japan, November 72 was its last performance. I've never seen any evidence ABBA ever performed Suzy~Hang~Around at anytime. As far as I know its guess work that Nina Pretty Ballerina and Love Isn't Easy might have been performed on the 1973 folkpark tour when ABBA's (Bjorn, Benny & Agnetha, Frida) set list was approx 30 minutes in lengh, sometimes 3 X 30 minute shows in different towns on the same days. Its a little confusing that you have included When All Is Said And Done, which was only performed in promo film by ABBA (Not counting its appearance in the'Voyage' Show), yet other songs only performed in promo's (One Of Us, Bang~A~Boomerang) aren't included and neither are a few other songs with performances (Slipping Through My Fingers, Me And I, Two For The Price Of One). Apart from that, good work.
Re: Setlists, I used the setlists that were documented on the abbaomnibus.com website, as well as this video from Bobby's Brother (th-cam.com/video/YBhBBraoLH0/w-d-xo.html). Although there's no visual or audio proof that these are in fact true, I believe at least some of them were compiled from memories from people who were actually there, so it's the best that we have. Re: When All Is Said And Done - This video isn't about songs that have been performed in some way, shape, or form, whether that's as a promotional clip, TV Show, live on stage, or appearing in ABBA Voyage. I already made a video on that (th-cam.com/video/jI9_ELPHG5w/w-d-xo.html). This video is strictly comparing and contrasting a song that has to have been performed more than once, and also taking a look at the year span (or in some cases only a couple of months-span) that the song had been performed. For this video, I counted the all the different language versions of songs as one, so although When All Is Said And Done was only performed once for a music video in August 1981, seeing as Agnetha and Frida recorded clips for the Spanish version in November 1981, that counts as two performances in my book. However, Bang-A-Boomerange, One Of Us, Two For The Price Of One, Slipping Through My Fingers, Me And I, and Cassandra, just to name a few off the top of my head, were only performed once so there is no second performance to compare it with. Hope that clears things up, and thank you very much. :)
@@gutomelo83 that’s right because the concert of North America lasted until March 80… that is the song that launched them so it is great it had the longest longevity.
Great job but you need to make 1 correction. The Way Old Friends Do was performed by Agnetha and Frida on June 6th, 2016 at a special party for Benny and Bjorn. OK, Benny and Bjorn didn’t sing with them, so maybe an asterisk * by the date?
Yes but Agnetha and Frida didn't perform it as the entity ABBA. It was only Agnetha and Frida performing one of ABBA's songs, so I consider it "After ABBA" rather than ABBA performing it.
Becky, thank you so much for this awesome gem of our Beloved ABBA. You did a beautiful job. I wish I could give you a big Hug and a Kiss for this major effort!! Tack!🌹❤️
Good video, but I want to quibble with one date. Based on what I've read on wikipedia, Dancing Queen @7:14 was first performed live on June 18, 1976, at Stockholm's Royal Swedish Opera for the wedding of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden with Queen Silvia. If you think it was first performed in January 1976, what is your source? My source is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancing_Queen

Shame that the last true live performance of ABBA, in 2016 was just a poor quality iPhone recording.
And yet, we wouldn't have any video footage at all if it wasn't captured on the phone. God bless that person!
From swedish TV early 70
I mean the first songs

I’m estimating but isn’t “knowing me knowing you” the song with the longest performance longevity from 1976 to 1981?
Thank you for the music most probably followed close 2nd
Waterloo, 1974 to 1980
@@gutomelo83 that’s right because the concert of North America lasted until March 80… that is the song that launched them so it is great it had the longest longevity.
Nina pretty ballerina was not “performed,” but it was played at the ABBA performance in Poland in 1976
