Nice one Charlie, Lovely day for it! Some distance on that route! I love Glen Shee in the winter time. Still got Carn an Tuirc to so so hopefully pay it a visit at some point soon! Thanks again for another great video. Cheers! Kris.
Scottish Mountain Goat , Kris, I agree Glenshee is a super winter location and just right for the short days. Always an enjoyable outing. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Charlie, great video might save those 4 for a winter walk on the east of the road. Went up the day after your walk on the Sunday to do the cairnwell 3 and got droont and almost blown away, but still great fun.⛰👍
Frank, You'll enjoy these hills in the winter I'm sure as its a super walk. Its also helps when you start at height for a change :) Take care, Charlie.
Hi Mick, we had a good day given the forecast. This years been all over the place with hill plans shelved until next year. It would be a nice thought to think the virus troubles are behind us. Take care. Charlie
Peter, it turned into a super day albeit the wind was blowing big time. Not a bad view point at the end of the day and only 15mins from the car. ATB Charlie.
Hi Larry, It turned out to be a nice day and we managed a good leg stretcher. Hills busy with not the usual walkers which isn’t a surprise for this area. Take care, Charlie
JagerScot Hi Scott, just trying to put a few miles in the legs for the winter and Glenshee allows you to add hills easily. We’ve done Tom Buidhe and Tolmount from the 3rd Munro.... out&in. Different route.... Cheers, Charlie
Charlie McCartney I thought that would be the case. First Munro? Last? and favourite? Beats my meagre total of five then. 😂 Ben Ghlas, Ben Lawers, Scheihallion Ben More Mull and Ben Nevis. Bit difficult these days from Sussex. My last ambition is to top Suilven next year virus permitting. I have a good collection of Wainwright’s and son has them all.
Robert Skipworth , Suilven is a great target to have. You’ll enjoy it when it comes round. Certainly, a lot harder when living in the south. Best areas are Torridon & Skye but the Munro’s are so varied particularly if you include the seasons as the winter is a bit different. You just got to get out and do it where ever it is. ATB, Charlie
Charlie McCartney indeed how right you are I was beguiled by Assynt June 19 while supporting our borders residing son’s NC500 cycle including this 71 yo ascending the Bealach Na Ba on his e-bike - still a heck of an undertaking. My late brother, who lived in Perth, worked for the OS in the highlands and though he didn’t complete the Munro’s due to Parkinson’s there was little he didn’t know about the hills. Keep up the good work.
Kris Charlton , I use the GoPro 7 Black. I’m happy with its function and stabilisation shooting in 4K but there are alway new models coming along. Cheers, Charlie.
@@charliemccartney7055 do you think earlier models would still be adequite for those on a budget? If i may say Charlie, my fatha passed away 9th december 2019 and i lived with him, taking care of him for the final 18 months of his life and one of his great pleasures was when you posted one of your videos in those pre covid times. all the best. Matthew, There is a good track/path up onto the full height but just got to be careful if it's cloudy as its a flat summit. The track starts about 100m north from the end of the top car park. You'll enjoy it I'm sure. ATB, Charlie.

Brilliant again Charlie. I think I am saving these until the winter. I was out in the west yesterday and got soaked and pelted with hail! Cheers Paul
Paul, It's a great winter venue with the added bonus of the road being kept clear for the skiing. Cheers, Charlie.

I have walked these hills but not together. Fascinating to see an accurate hill weather forecast in this time machine walk.
Hello, many thanks for taking a look at our outing. Typical Scottish weather as we saw the seasons every 20mins. ATB, Charlie.

Nice rolling hills Charlie with great views, bit blowy up top but I dont think the wind slows you two down. Take care. Mick.

An improving day! Another enjoyable video. Have you bagged all the Munros yet?
Hi Robert, after 40 years of walking the Munro bag has been filled a few times. Cheers Charlie

Kris, I think it’s important to get one that has stabilisation. My earlier GoPro 3+ was a hard watch without. Cheers, Charlie
I was thinking on doing that glas moal, is there a clear path all the way up?
