  • Unsure how to use the Moment app? You're in the right place! My epic and detailed Moment app tutorial covers photo, video, time-lapse and slow shutter mode in detail; so whether you need a broad overview of the whole app or something specific like how to create smooth light trails, you should find it here! Enjoy!
(There are few things I've left out purpose, like bracketing in time-lapse mode. I just couldn't get it to work 🤷‍♂️ )
    Update
At 39:49 I refer to the microphone cable as a TRS - TTRS. This is a mistake; it's a TRS - TRRS cable.

Hi David. I was a professional tv cameraman working on shows such as The Muppets and also a tv news cameraman on the road some years ago. Never too old to learn and amazed by what can be achieved these days with " amateur " equipment your videos are so informative, well edited and easy to follow, obscuring the hard work that it takes to produce them. This app giving the iPhone the versatility of a dslr is incredible.. You are so knowledgeable so thanks for the tutorial

Thank you! While I've been exploring more videos for personal use, training videos keep mentioning that Timelapse and Hyperlapse are a useful additional option. So far I've only explored the default camera app which enables precious few adjustments. Having both ProCam8 and the Moment apps I'm aware I also have options. While I've had the moment app for years I've never actually used it so your video was very helpful. Right now however, I feel it provides too many options so I'll continue with the default camera until I start to find it limiting. Blessings.

Awesome tutorial mate! Thought I might throw a little nugget your way. In your timelapse with a path, if you set the timelapse to play back at 30fps, but in your editing software set the playback speed to 24 fps, you will eliminate that slight stutter, resulting in a much smoother timelapse. Cheers!
