Getting closer guys! Those RXL’s are such a double edged sword, run sooooo good when things are working, but can be so temperamental too 🤷🏻♂️ Keep at it! Clean the injectors 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Hello Nutter and friends 😊Cool informative video,. I had a 93 RXL and she was Awesome! Probably quicker than my 97 ultra sp. Off the starting line. She did leave me stranded a few times with low battery though! I went from hero to zero in no time!😢 i finally rigged up an extra battery in the trunk for a backup. Problem solved. Rear of sled a little heavier though. Throttle response is so smooth and quick on the RXL! Over a bank I could easily throw out a 20 foot Roost! ( Nobody wanted to follow in 2nd)! Ha.Ha.Anyway thanks guys keep up the cool channel.
I had a 1995 RXL, don't use a jump pack on it. I smoked a stator doing that one time. You need a good battery and then the EFI system worked fine. That sled would start in 2 pulls in any weather. It hooked really good with 144 studs that had good penetration. I had a problem with the primary walking out the bronze bushing one time and the crank was knocked out of phase. I had it rebuilt and had the pins welded.
I now take a lot of pictures of every project I do especially if it’s a not a priority and like Patti not worked on every week, when you think you have enough photos, take some more from different angles. It’s amazing how you always think you’ll remember stuff and at my age you don’t!
