Clean the injectors 🍻🍻🍻 It’s finally starting to come together lol. It’s the project that never ends🤷🏻♂️ Between Patti and Tommy’s RXL we have sure gotten some good training on the fuel injection systems! Thanks guys! Merry Christmas 🍻🍻🍻
Thank you for the Brake Caliper lesson. Been working on these for years and never did one. The brake master/resveroir sometimes gives me trouble getting it to prime. luv seeing these RXLs come back to life! I got two 97s I bought from WI I need to do. Excellent vid.
Hey fellas! I have a trick for getting those motor mount nuts started in case any one wants to know. I take the appropriate sized boxed end wrench, place a small square of paper towel over it, and push the nut into the box end so that the paper towel holds it tightly. Then start the bolt with my fingers. Work vice versa too! Old-timer trick my grandpa taught my cousins and I, while working on our old farm tractors and trucks.
Hey i really enjoyed the brake lesson. I think teaching people is a big reason your channel is successful ...looking forward to the story. Do an interview, no typing
Oh yeah! It can be a battle. I used to put in a bolt and then use a long rod and a hammer to knock it out. But now id use an air hammer. Times are changing :)
Merry Christmas! I have the same alinement problem with clutches on my 96 xlt special, did u loosen the motor mounts and turn the motor ? Don’t remember when I put the motor in😮. Any info would be helpful. Thanks nutter
Did you grab the right motor mounts? I’m working on a 96 ultra and had same alignment issues. Turns out one side was the wrong one. Found a set on eBay and dropped in perfectly.

Patti reminds me of my 94 xlt. I love the sound of those three cylinder mono blocks. 😊
Those three cylinders really do sing!

Coming together! Have you ever had a jack shaft stuck to an old style chaincase?

@@nuttersspeedshop Thanks! I'll have to try that next time.
👋👍🏻🔧🎄🔧nice work ✌🏻
Are you going to do a video of the master cylinder rebuild?
We have done that several times already, so I'm not sure.
You should get a couple more dog's lol

Just the washers. That solved everything for Patti. It might work out different for you.
Who let the horse in the shop
Did you grab the right motor mounts?

They are the mounts that came out of it, but that is a great idea to dig through my pile and see if I have anything that works better.
According to Polaris parts finder the part number on them should be 5240693 left and 5240694 right for a 96 RXL
@@scottsandmeyer3428 I am really happy that I am not the only person in the entire world that uses that!
Anyone know where i can get some better drivers for a 99 xcr 700? I have some racheting and the track it where it should be for tension (i think)
Wahl brothers
Why do all different snowmobiles makes , make different brake sounds when applied , 90’s Arctic Cats always had a cool sound
