Oh no, Rhino! This news has made me cry. So grateful I got to see him in Dec last year. I had a fear of reptiles, but Rhino and the reptile family at Australia Zoo helped me overcome that fear. Rest in peace, buddy ❤️❤️❤️

I remember seeing juvenile Rhinoceros in Taronga Zoo in 1993, and not seeing a full adult. In 1994/5 I first saw Rhino, I was 9 or 10, not only thrilled to be at the Croc-hunter's reptile park/zoo, but I was amazed with how big and beefy Rhino was. The park was smaller then, and Steve was actually more notorious in the USA at that stage than he was here, but I loved his documentaries at that age. I would revisit the park/zoo many times since then because until recently, Noosa was our favorite holiday spot, and I would usually see Rhino, though the entrance I initially used is now a small exit (I think??). I don't visit as often now, because my parents who I often holiday with find it a little too sad since Steve is gone, but I follow you guys on youtube and its always great to see. Incidentally, I still marvel at how Steve's 2 kids are all grown up now and carrying on his legacy, it's amazing, I remember being at uni when little Bob jr dipped his toes in the crocoseum pond way back when.
I sure miss Steve watching him on TV with my children, he always made use laugh and learn new things about animals. God bless the Irwin family. Your dad is very proud I'm sure of all of you.

RIP Rhino. I didn't even know about this species of Iguana until I saw you on the Crocodile Hunter show. You lived your life as a wonderful education ambassador for your specie's.
I was only a volunteer at a zoo for three summers, but every time an animal at the zoo passed away I feel like I’m losing my family. Even animals I never worked with or near, I feel it in my soul. I can only I magazine how much more intense it would be losing an animal family member you spent so much time with for so long.
Didn't expect this video to be difficult to watch. Steve Irwin, his wife, and two kids are the best example of what it is to be Human. One cannot be human unless he/she is one with nature, which includes the Animal kingdom.
I was born in 1992 before old Rhino the Rhinoceros Iguana came to the Australia Zoo. Just Incase, I’m sorry that he died. I’ll bet he had a good life before his time came. Rhino, you will be missed.
