My goal is to learn one new thing each day--DONE! Thank you, I did not know about the French stitch, pretty as well as options. I agree, depends on what the end effect is sought on how many wraps and how many threads to use in creating French knots. Different. opinions are worth listening, always. I also like Colonial knots when I want a heftier look.
Thanks so very much. That's a great goal. I love learning too - the world is full of wonderful things to discover. I never want to lose that curiosity and playful curiosity. I'm delighted that there are so many of us out there! 🤗
OOO!I finished my E page just in time. The French Stitch and Four legged knot are new to me. Now to get my next background ready to stitch. Love your new haircut.
I do like the French Stitch, I've never seen that one before. Naughty girl with the French Knot though, it should be either one or two wraps, never more. For a larger knot you should use more strands, or a thicker thread.
I do explain what happens with more wraps. Sometimes, an unstable knot is just what you need though, and some threads can take 3 wraps - mine worked fine. Learning by playing and experimenting is always good.
Your detailed explanations and the exact speed you work at are so helpful.
Thank you. I really appreciate that. I'm glad you find it helpful. 🤗
I’ve never tried the four-legged knot before. I love all the stitches. Your stitching is so neat.
Thank you! It's not always neat! I'm on my best behavior in these videos! 😊

I agree with Rebecca. Sometimes you want a loopy, curly knot for texture. Great videos, you are very good at explaining the stitches.
@singy555 thanks so much. I'm glad you understand the explanations.
