@0:56 I still have trouble to believe that Alonso was able to continue and move into the top-10 that day. He later on put it in the wall, yes, but just the idea that his car survived this impact, while Barrichello's Williams imploded and died right there? Crazy stuff.
@@quentinhirschfeld9382 yes but he was way to slow reacting on brakes, had all the time of the world to brake, he was not doing any action here, just cruising
@@leart78 Apparently, you have no clue what's going on in that clip, let me explain you. The track had a very low amount of grip for slicks tyres because of the rain and the low temperatures, this basically means, the amount of grip of the tyres can give at that particular moment is really low. Barrichello made a slight misjudgement, but he was actually braking, it's just that he couldn't slam them. Why? Because it would've been worse! If he did such a thing, basically, he would've exceeded the amount of grip available, leading to a huge lock up with both front tyres, thus the car wouldn't have been able to slow itself AT ALL!
slimy zucchini toothless tire adhesion zero corners zero this tire choice is a disaster even the most professional pilot suddenly finds himself stuck on the track wall or another vehicle off the track this is stupid FIA should give up on this decision it's a shame billion dollar loss every season it seems like a very important tire choice I don't understand what's wrong with these vehicles when the toothed corrugated rubber is holding it hard on the track

Best "old" F1 moment....super close to the guy in front, almost crash, 2nd guy has no wheel, and then the real crash. WOW

I think his tires locked he couldnt move his steering wheel
Pretty much all of the incidents seen in the videos could be avoidable, it's the principle of an "incident"!
