I cannot stop watching Fernando Alonso's overtake on Webber. That braking was insane; he is at 280+kmh at the 75meter mark, brakes hard and yet manages to not collide with car infront of him. Talk about the skill needed.
2012 was one amazing year! Half the field was in contention for the win. Never seen so many overtakes throughout the entirety of the field! Also, the engine noise!

This is still my favourite race of all time and that podium is just perfection in every way, Alonso in Spain, Kimi and Schumi, 10 world championships between them, it just doesn't get any better
I didn't see this race at the time, but I watched the re-run yesterday and loved it! What a great circuit. And a fantastic win by El Nano. He drove on this circuit like it was a permanent layout he grew up on.
It was weird too, compared to 2011 and 2013 this season had no reason to be so vastly different and fun to watch. But it certainly is one of the greatest seasons in modern F1 history
Masterclass in piloting: Kimi with late dives, Grosjean with a pretty solid race, Schumi showing that he still had his skills and, of course, mad talented Alonso butchering the field with a spectacular drive (and, as always, maldonado doing maldonado things! 🙈). This race is a modern classic! 😍

It’s aggressive from Lewis but he’s entitled to the racing line. You can see in the breaking zone Lewis has left a cars width but as soon as the corner comes up he’s taken the racing line. Maldonado should have yielded end of.
2012 was one of my favorite years of F1. Screaming V8's, unpredictability, everyone had a somewhat competitive car that could fight, more overtaking, and the cars weren't 20ft long barges and weight so much either.
Everyone is talking about the V8 note (which is great), but no one is talking about the absolutely satisfying downshifts when you can hear the gears literally slam into place. Very nice.
now I remember why back then I was watching races while today I only watch a few highlights and this channel. I enjoy watching the low grip so much. The cars sliding is honestly beautiful. Today the cars drive like they are on rails and of course there are only 3 teams that are able to get close to the podium. I really got tired of knowing who is going to win the championship before the start of the year.
